Really, really good Mexican restaurant. Best Mexican food I've had in a long time. Service was great and food prepared quickly. The free chips and salsa was good, but personally I prefer a little more heat in my salsa. Typical Mexican restaurant feel inside with many booths and tables. Expect to pay around $10-12 per person for dinner. Not much parking out front, but seems to be a little more nearby. The chimichanga dinner meal was great, full of flavor. The cheese dip sauce was really tasty. Possibly the best refried beans I've had. The rice was normal Mexican rice. The wifey said her enchiladas supreme meal was really good. The beef was well-seasoned, chicken was flavorful, and bean enchilada was yummy. After our meal the waiter brought us a complimentary simple dessert consisting of a fried chip with sugar, whipped cream and chocolate drizzle on top. Wasn't much to it but had a nice flavor and is a freebie they don't have to do. Never seen this from many other restaurants. Overall we really enjoyed our dinner and will definitely be visiting again, likely many more times. read more

I am not sure how this place stays in business. We have ordered 3-4 times takeout and food is bland and below par at best.

Being Mexican and being from Arizona and California and knowing what actual Mexican food is this is white wash, bland no flavor cooking for the customer and not actually making Mexican food. Being new to the area My husband and I came in today for the first time for lunch around 1130 am ! We were immediately greeted with a smiling waiter who immediately greeted us ! The restaurant smelled so good upon entering and the restaurant was immaculate as well ! Both our meals were delicious! Delicious food , reasonably priced and excellent service from our amazing waiter ---- I highly recommend this amazing establishment------- we will definitely be back !!!!!! read more

I've been to plenty of mexican restaurants in my time and this has to be one of the worst. Margs were simply awful, hardly any tequila and taste like straight syrup. The atmosphere was horrendous. Service was okay and everything was so expensive. Do not waste your time here. read more

Great place to eat - just had the chicken fajita nachos - SO GOOD! The place felt clean and tidy when we walked in, and smelled amazing. Reasonably priced, all the food comes fast and hot, is very delicious, and the service is excellent. The horchata is VERY sweet with a hint of coconut flavor but no cinnamon or at least very little- we found that unusual. At the end of the meal, they bring you a large crispy cinnamon & sugared sopapilla chip with fresh whipped cream and chocolate drizzle - this was fresh and tasty too! Used the ladies room, and while the overall room is aging, it smelled of cleaning supplies, and the toilet and sink were scrupulously clean - only not great thing was that the stall doors and walls could use a good scrub, but that can be said for many otherwise good establishments around the Morristown area. The service was good. The atmosphere was good too. But the food.. that's another story. I got the chicken flautas and it was just.. meh. I cut into it and was immediately disappointed. The chicken inside was plain and bland. Just no flavor. It tasted like canned or boiled chicken. Just whitewashed, karenized, plain boiled chicken. I mixed all the sides, lettuce, sour cream, rice, refried beans, and queso together and used it as a dip to kind of smother the chicken in and attempt to give it some flavor. I even poured some salsa from the salsa and tortilla chips onto the chicken so it'd have a little kick to it. The lettuce and sour cream had more taste than the chicken. I don't know if they didn't season it because I'm white and thought spice would be too much for me or what but it was just sad. I honestly think the food gave me depression. I don't even want to eat anymore. I've never not finished or not taken food in a to go box. I sent my friend a picture of my food and she said just looking at it pissed her off. You can see theres no seasonings of any kind in the chicken. They did bring me a single sopapilla at no charge. Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Morristown, if not all of the Lakeway area. Been going with a group every Sunday night for almost 3 years now, and I've had almost every item on the menu. It's all good food, everything from the spiciest salsa you can get to the most vanilla Mexican food ever seen, they have it all. Recently been enjoying the Huevos con Chorizo, and their Pollo Picoso. If you really want something special, try the Molcajete, you won't be disappointed. The service is next level and since we go so often, they know us and joke with us, most of the time not even needing to take our drink orders because they know us by now. Overall, I will not recommend another Mexican restaurant in the area until something tops this, which I don't see happening. read more
