I especially loved the tacos. The tortillas had such an authentic, fresh corn flavor, and knowing they're locally sourced made them even better. Definitely some of the better tacos I've had! I'd definitely recommend stopping by COA, grabbing some tacos and drinks, and enjoying the atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Once you arrive to the roof there is another hostess stand. We went on a Saturday around 3:30 and were able to get a table without a wait. I did not realize how large this rooftop was. There is a warp around patio and a decently sized dining room area. We ordered cocktails and two appetizers for the table. I got a spicy margarita, but i was served a regular margarita. I told the waiter and he told me that it was in fact a spicy margarita. I did end up sending it back and it was returned to me with some spice to it. Next up, I ordered a mezcal margarita which was pretty standard. Unfortunately this was cut short at 4:57 pm when we were told we needed to leave for 5:00 pm reservations. Completely understandable, we asked for our check and while waiting we were told to stand out of the way. We ended up standing by the bar and they did give us 20% off food as a local discount. We really wanted to love COA, but it just didn't do it for us. The drinks were hit or miss, service was attentive, but not very welcoming. The atmosphere is very lively and we did like the DJ. I think if some tweaks with time management and precision on the margaritas for a place known for margaritas it could be above average. If I went back it would be for the vibes- not the drinks or appetizers.

Our waitress was extremely attentive the whole experience. My cocktail and my friend's mocktail were both great. The menu had some wonderful options. We did not dabble in the food but it looks like an oyster lovers dream.

It's a fairly big place with a bar, couches, fireplace with a HUGE beautiful fire, cocktail tables, and cozy booths. Dark, candlelight, this place has a vibe! 5 stars for atmosphere for sure! The service was not great, unfortunately. It was just so slow, every step took FOREVER. We would have gotten dessert but the waitress never came back. I finally stood up, put my jacket on, and stood next to our table, as a hint that we were ready for the check. 3/5 stars for service. Now the food. Do you see those fries?? They are some of the most unique fries I've ever had. Crispy AND chewy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. Served with bernaise, these alone are worth coming back for! The burger fell flat IMO. My husband liked it better than I did, but it didn't have much flavor. Some might say it needed ketchup, but for me it was more than that. It was a case where it seemed to have all the right ingredients but didn't "pop". It comes out wrapped in paper which is a fun touch, but didn't seem that hot and also was a little soggy, which made me wonder how long it sat before they brought it. We wanted ketchup for the fries too, BTW, but the server never came back to check on us. My husband's NY sour was a little strange. We love different "takes" on classic cocktails, but this one just didn't work. The waitress seemed unsure as to whether they could make this drink, and maybe she was correct. 3.5 stars for cocktails/food. We will definitely come back. My hope is that the burger was just a one-time miss and that next time it will be perfect. We also want to try the smoked fish dip. Such a cool neighborhood spot!

We still order the beet and watermelon salad on every visit, yet we added the tuna crudo this time. I searched pictures on the web prior to ordering the tuna and noticed it came in slices and looked good. Unfortunately, it was nothing like that. The tuna was sliced into small chunks and tossed in the dressing with cucumbers and kumquats among other things. The dressing was overpowering, and I've decided I don't like the taste of kumquats! I hardly tasted the tuna. Bummer. We will be back, yet we will stick to the amazing dishes we know and love!

We started with the Caesar salad, and honestly that was the one miss of the night. It had a bit of a weird taste to it. Everything after that was fantastic though. I got the lamb chop and my fiancé got the filet, and both were cooked to perfection. For sides, the truffle fries and Brussels sprouts were standouts that I highly recommend. Now if I had known about the new ownership and lack of availability of what I ASSUMED the cocktail menu would be, I might have reconsidered going but this review isn't about that... its all about the staff at Tiger Bar who were absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! What an amazing duo we encountered behind the bar! They did their absolute most to find us a drink we would enjoy and even saved my boyfriend from being attacked by bees outside. I'm sure there's changes people aren't too stoked about but the people who make these cocktails really do care about what you want and how to serve you best. I wish for the life of me I could remember their names but I can only hope they see this and know that I am so thankful for their kindness My only regret was not being able to go back before we left. Sadly, since the change in ownership, it seems to have gone downhill quickly. On our recent visits, they no longer had the ingredients needed to make many of the cocktails, the food has essentially disappeared from the menu--with only popcorn available--and the music was so painfully loud that we felt like we needed earplugs. What was once a unique destination now feels like just another bar on the Gallatin strip, which is really disappointing because the original Tiger Bar had so much character and potential. At this point, I would even suggest considering a name change. Many of the older, glowing reviews reflect the Tiger Bar that existed under the previous ownership and, unfortunately, don't represent the experience today. If it had not been for the kind staff (I counted only 3 which may explain why tables were sticky) I would give zero stars. Giving 2 stars because the staff was friendly and kind and seemed to be trying , the bar tender did attempt to offer drink suggestions. They are not the blame for downfall of a once cool bar and vibe.

I was in the mood for a mocktail, but nothing on the menu was quite what I was looking for. I asked the bartender if she could make something that was less sweet and more fruit-forward, and she absolutely nailed it. It was one of the best mocktails I've had and exactly what I had in mind. The atmosphere was one of my favorite parts. It's a beautiful space with a relaxed, inviting vibe that made it easy for my husband and me to sit back, enjoy our drinks, and spend some quality time together before dinner. My husband booked a reservation for my birthday and dinner was truly a gift. We were seated at the bar and were able to see each dish being carefully prepared in front of us. Each team member made sure to introduce themselves before presenting us with detailed information about the following course. The various wine pairings were all amazing in their own unique way. There were several creative bites that stood out to me. A refreshing medley of melon and raw oyster to start out was surprisingly sweet and nothing like the usual acidic mignonette I've come to expect with oysters. The beef tartare with salmon roe and kiwi was well balanced and interesting in flavor, and interactive with modifiable textural elements in each bite. I would have never guessed that coffee and lemon would complement each other for a palate cleanser nor that a palate cleanser would be memorable the next day, but alas.... Finally dessert had one more unexpected combo with a spruce ice cream and jammy strawberries but it was perfection to end the meal. As impressive as the creativity was, the execution and attention to detail in the cook, plating and explanation of each dish as it was presented to us was even more appreciated. The delicacy and decadence of both the trout and Wagyu courses cannot be understated. I also adored the candle in the chess pie microslice. Well done, Bastion. I hope we will be back soon!
