A definitely win & must order ! Crispy fries loaded with tender beef & a flavor bomb of korean spices to complement the perfect crisp of the enoki . These 2 items can stand alone as a main dish due to how amazing and fulfilling they are. Round 2 the main. Cajun shrimp pasta - season every step of prep. Jumbo shrimp with chewy pasta. The main star : the drunken goat cheese burger. What an amazing experience. Not only perfectly, cook medium rare, but the perfect selection of goat cheese. I can guarantee you ain't never had a burger like this. - every bite, the goat cheese heightens the experience of the burger & can be described as encasing the patty with a rich, smooth, & velvety feel throughout. The potato bun was warm, soft on top, and crisp on the inside to provide the perfect transport to compliment the burger. The fries were well done uniform in size & taste, top with a high end salt flakes, & not table salt. Bonus points to the house made ketchup. 3rd & final : the brownie & house made ice cream. Sweet & enjoyable. Over baked at order. Warm, moist on the inside & a layer of crunch on top. I wish there was chop macadamia or walnut on the inside to give it more texture and a pinch on salt to balance the sweetness. But overall, it was a definitely great ending to a wonderful meal. I've never had a dish at Rustik Fork that has disappointed me. The food here is fresh, well portioned and delicious! My boyfriend and I attended for brunch and the restaurant was quite busy. Luckily, we had reservations so we were seated shortly after arriving. We were immediately given waters and asked for our drink order. I ordered the French Waffles and he ordered the Croque Madame. The French Waffles were fluffy and flavorful. I enjoyed the whipped cream and syrup. The Croque Madame was absolutely delicious! The cream Swiss mornay sauce was fantastic! Very flavorful! My only critique of Rustik Fork is that food is slow to come out. I know that is due to making everything fresh, however, I noticed my waffles sitting out at least 5 minutes under the heat lamp, while waiting for the Croque Madame to be done. Like I mentioned above, my food still was delicious but it did take a while to come out. Would I return? Yes! Brunch is great and so is dinner! read more

Great little local place with big flavors! Our server, Kelsey was excellent. She explained to us a bit about the restaurant and how their ingredients and products are sourced - it was interesting and made us appreciate our meal more. She was also terrific in assisting us to choose wines and our meal selections. We decided to start with the stuffed dates - which were so delicious and perfect with my red wine! Then, we moved on, to the surf and turf and braised short rib for our meals. The surf and turf was good, but not super impressive - we really wish they had a filet or a ribeye as an option here, instead of the flank steak, and the couscous was kind of plain on its own, but was still good with bites of the tomatoes. The short rib was amazing and had tons of those deep, rich flavors you'd look for throughout the meat and sauce, and it paired so nicely with the sweet, buttery, cheesy elements of the polenta. Also, the crispy potatoes on top added a nice welcoming texture and spice to the dish. We finished with the strawberries and cream bread pudding topped with vanilla ice cream. Neither of us had tried a strawberry type bread pudding before and really enjoyed it. We were slightly disappointed that they didn't have any decaf coffee to serve with it, but look forward to them (as we heard, potentially soon) partnering with a local coffee maker to offer yet another great selection to their already tasty menu! read more

The interior is cute and rustic but sadly, I thought the food is subpar. I ordered the Braised Short Rib after seeing all the reviews and photos and in my opinion it was very underwhelming. The short rib was tender but under seasoned, polenta was flavorful, seasonal veggies were okay and unfortunately there wasn't enough demi-glace for me to try. Demi-glace is an amazing rich sauce, but what I got seemed like some meat drippings. I thought $40 for a Braised Short Rib dish was fairly priced but what I got is definitely not worth $40. Maybe I came in on an off day so would possibly be open to giving it another try. We shall see. read more

Oh jesus christ. This place is so, so bad. And weird. I've never been gaslit by a waitress before, but I guess there's a first for everything. We stopped by for brunch and at first it seemed lovely. Cozy, rustic atmosphere and not too loud or crowded. We ordered a few things, once of which was the avocado toast: "Village Bread Topped with Organic Avocado, Strawberries, Candied orange peel, spiced candied bacon, and micro Pea Shoots." Sounded SO delicious and unique!!! The waitress warned us that it would come out on a baguette, not village bread, which was totally fine by me. She told us she just wanted to give us fair warning about it, because a customer had previously complained about the bread because the dish didn't look like the picture. I shrugged and said no worries, despite the glaring red flag. This is just my humble opinion, but I believe if you order something it should come out looking like the picture or it's called false advertising. No need to make that poor lady sound like such a Karen for wanting to receive what she paid for. The avocado toast comes out after 15 or 20 minutes. It is indeed on a baguette, which is again, fine. It is also missing the strawberries, candied orange peel, spiced bacon, and micro pea shoots. It's bread, with avocado, with tomatoes, and arugula. And a very incomprehensible egg. ...Where are all of the fun and unique components? Nevermind not looking like the picture, which has kiwis on it and not strawberries-- who in their right mind would pay $14 for something they could assemble at home with ingredients in their fridge in 5 minutes? (I know the ingredients are "farm fresh" as the owner will surely mention here in a surly and passive aggressive reply to constructive criticism but still) We call a waitress over. She first insists the tomatoes are strawberries. They are not. Then she tells us we must have been looking at the wrong menu, and we were not. Our original waitress comes over. We explain the situation and she starts saying that the avocado toast actually comes in three varieties. I can pick between strawberries, candied orange peel, and candied bacon. If that were true, why not ask which of the three types we wanted when we were ordering? Why only mention that the bread would be different? In addition, the menu literally does not say anything resembling "choice of one topping" or even just "or." It says "&" which implies that all elements would be included. I felt SO awkward and unreasonable arguing with the waitress that I just told her to please take it back. She didn't even apologize which was very odd. The other two items we ordered were fine. They vaguely resembled the pictures on the menu and tasted nice, though both were insanely overpriced. Overall, not coming back. This place is just downright weird. read more
