A delicious basket of fried clams!

Good local place. They always have fresh....yes fresh seafood. The fish and chips are delicious and the seafood platter is great too. Their pot pies are good too as well as other comfort fare. The place is usually kinda busy so you may want to call ahead. They have booths and a couple rustic tables! Outdoor seating as well.

I have to say that everything happens for a reason. Our usual restaurant wasn't open, so my sister & I embarked down route 10 looking for a new place to eat. Well, I'd say we found one! I'd have to say, it was the best Captain's platter that I have ever eaten, & the lemon mascarpone cake was so soft and creamy with just a light fruity drizzle over the top. The only thing better than the food was the service. They were so nice, friendly, & professional. We will definitely be going back & bringing our friends with us! So, if you're looking for a great family restaurant, The Rustic Table is the place to be. It is great for friends and family!

This was our 1st visit to the Rustic Table. We did not have a reservation and the restaurant was packed. We were encouraged to stay and they found us seats at the bar. The food was fantastic and the staff was excellent. We will be returning for sure.. I do suggest you make a reservation.

I thought I'd leave a review when I didn't see any since the pandemic hit.. We called in our order and picked it up, employees had masks on! Theh also had some seating outside. My husband got the fried chicken & we were both blown away by the proportions. Definitely get your money's worth we will have leftovers for tomorrow.. The baked haddock was delicious & cooked perfectly. I just wish I was given some lemon with the fish lol

If you told me I'd find some of the best seafood of my life in landlocked Southern Vermont, I…read moreprobably wouldn't have believed you--but Anchor Seafood House & Grille is the real deal. This place has been a Wilmington staple since 1997, and you can tell they've spent the last nearly 30 years perfecting the craft. The atmosphere is incredible. While the original 1850s building was lost to a fire in 2010, the current space is a beautiful, faithful replica that feels historic and cozy. It's the perfect spot for a post-ski dinner or a summer night out. Here's the breakdown of what you need to order: The Chowder: This is proper New England clam chowder. It's thick, rich, and loaded with clams--not just a bowl of potatoes and heavy cream. It's the ultimate comfort food. Steamers: You have to start with the steamers. They are clean, sweet, and served the traditional way with a side of broth and drawn butter. It's a messy, delicious classic that they do perfectly here. Whole Belly Clams: These are the gold standard. They're lightly breaded, perfectly fried, and have that sweet, briny pop you usually only find at a roadside shack on the Maine coast. If you're a fan of "the bellies," don't skip these. The Lobster: I went for the steamed lobster, and it was impeccable. Succulent chunks of fresh meat and just the right amount of butter. It tasted like it was caught that morning. It's rare to find a spot that balances a "fancy night out" feel with such unpretentious, high-quality food. Whether you're a local or just passing through for the foliage, make sure you stop here.

Every time I get food from here I get takeout. The restaurant itself is definitely an old style restaurant with no recent updates. Everything I've been told, the service is great if you eat there. However, the woman that runs the desk is not as kind with pick up. When you call for a pick up order, they give you a time to pick up your food which is generally around 90 minutes after you call. I usually try to come as close to that time as possible but a few times I have been five or 10 minutes early. If you are early for your order she gets frustrated and is not very nice about it. I have also noticed every time I've been in there to pick up food there are children there just sitting at the front desk. I am assuming that they are family of whoever owns the restaurant or someone that works there, but it is just strange to see kids just sitting at the front desk when you're there to eat or pick up food. It's not something that would cause me not to go back to the restaurant but I could see it bothering someone else. I've never had a bad experience with the food and my mom absolutely loves it so we go there pretty regularly but I would just suggest if you are picking up your food do not be early.

That settled it; we had to try it. Out of sheer excitement or exhaustion, we forgot to make a reservation. I quickly remembered this mistake as we entered Hooked. People filled every table and seat at the bar. I looked at my bestie with great concern because we were anticipating our first meal of the day. The hostess welcomed us warmly, and then she asked the dreadful question, "Do y'all have a reservation?" We sadly said no, and she immediately began to express regret. Maybe it was the "Grad2026" headband or the disappointment on our faces that caused her to have pity on us because she told us to wait one second. The hostess walked to the bar, then she went to the main seating area, lastly she went next door where there's additional seating. She returned with a smile and motioned for us to follow her. The hostess found us seats at the bar! We ordered, chatted with the locals, and ate a delicious meal. We even made room for dessert which we learned was made by the owner, the hostess! Whenever we visit New Hampshire again, we're definitely stopping by Hooked!

I was heart broken but it was my own undoing as I djdnt make a reservation. Just as I was opening yelp to find another place to try she came and got me from outside as a spot opened up! That's service! And I won't forget it. All the staff was very kind and she checked in with me several times during my meal to make sure it was going well. The ambiance is a little noisy but it's a raw bar that has sports on. The food is delicious. I could have eaten the Cippino forever! The broth was a complex delicious and perfectly spiced tomato base. The seafood was plentiful and large sized. I have never seen shrimp so big! I also ate oysters and had an amazing home made peaches and cream cheese cake. Listen I don't really like cheese cake but I could eat that cake everyday for the rest of my life. Everything from start to finish once I sat down. Was delicious and the staff was very kind. This food was fired fresh in the kitchen. I could see if from my bar seat. So if it took a little bit it was worth it! I'd eat here the next time I'm in Manchester 10/10
