Yuck. Pasta was horribly overcooked and soggy. Prices are cheap but you definitely get what you pay for.

When I checked the pizza, it was clearly undercooked, so we sent it back. We expected it to come back properly cooked, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. When the pizza was brought out the second time, it was still doughy and undercooked. I took photos of it, and they show multiple different slices--all of which had the same raw, gummy texture across the entire slice. This was not just one bad piece. Because of this, we didn't even get a chance to actually eat the pizza. That was our dinner, and we ended up leaving without being able to eat it. What made the situation worse was how it was handled. The manager insisted it was "ranch sauce" and claimed the pizza was cooked thoroughly, which is simply not accurate based on both the texture and appearance. I was also told I was the only person to complain, as if that somehow made the issue invalid. Regardless, we were served undercooked food--twice. They offered a $5 discount on a $21 pizza that we couldn't even eat, which did not feel like a fair resolution. Very disappointing experience overall--not just because of the food, but because the issue was dismissed instead of taken seriously.

When we arrived at 6:30p the parking lot was packed - and on a Wednesday! We waited for about 20 minutes and then were seated. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip, which is served with warm baguette slices - perfection. For entrees we had the meatball linguine and the chicken Parmesan- meatballs are house- made and were so flavorful, chicken on the parm was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Entrees are served with a side salad and their ranch was to die for- so thick and creamy. For dessert we had the chocolate gelato, which was the cherry on top of the meal. Yum! The place stayed busy until we left around 8 - a big party was waiting to be sat. The staff are very hard workers - they were busting their butts all over the restaurant for the duration of our meal. Our server (we didn't get his name, unfortunately) was wonderful. Highly recommend, and if we're ever back in Gallup, we'll definitely grab another meal here!

I figured if they're happy back there then I shouldn't worry about what comes out. I wasn't greeted with chips and salsa which was a surprise, seeing how it's a staple at every Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. So that was a bummer. You would think that nice salty chips and spicy salsa would pair well with a cold beer. It would make you thirsty for another thus adding to their bottom line. It's probably for the best after that salty mess last night at the Garage restaurant in Oklahoma. I still feel like Lot's wife after she looked back at Sodom and Gomorrah. My bubbly server took my order of a beer and a Mexicali hamburger steak (closest thing to meatloaf that I could get). It came to my table piping hot. My steak was covered in chopped green chilis, and was extremely delicious. The beans and rice were standard, so no woop there. Panz Alegra was pretty busy on this Saturday night. You can sit in the bar area, or the regular restaurant. The bar was a hoppin', while where I was seated was pretty tame. Unless you consider the exuberant busboy dancing his way to tables entertaining. He made me a bit nervous. The guy was one misstep away from adding more dishes to my table than I was comfortable with. Ricky Martin he was not. You can't go wrong with Panz. You can get better, but who wants to drive all the way to Las Cruces. Quick Tip: This place boasts American-Mexican-Italian food on its menu. Interesting. I never would have thought that American food would find its way on the menu. Oh, from the outside, the restaurant looks abandoned. One of many relics you can find along Route 66. But don't be deterred. There's people inside, dancing and otherwise.

The service was ok, good in terms of attentiveness, they were swamped and there was a wait to get in anways. Food came out pretty slow but then I am not sure if they are usually completely full. The Chile Releno was reallly good and had a lot of flavor to it. The tacos were pretty basic and the rice was good. My meal came with a large folded flour tortilla with a butter pad that confused me. The menu was expansive and some of the burgers that passed by me looked really good. They touted a sign that said an best authentic mexican food award, but really its tex-mex. Ill go again for sure try more and update.

Pizza hut has never been my immediate choice for quality pizza. However, their new premium ingredients and crust flavors have completely changed my mind. I most recently ordered a creamy garlic sauce, chicken and mushroom pizza with an Italian herb crust... Everything tasted so flavorful and delicious that I've definitely converted from other pizza chains like Dominos or Papa Johns. Also, the carryout deal I opted for was super cost efficient, at a whopping $8.65 for a large 2 topping pizza. The customer service here is average, and the location isn't ideal, but the food is good, so I can't really complain. On any given day however, take into account wether you wish to dine in or carry out, because the place is almost always PACKED. ALSO! My best suggestion to you to avoid incorrect orders, swarms of kids running around, and overall headaches, is to order online and pick up in store. It is quick, easy, and you can pay upon arriving for your order. It doesn't get much better than that.
