We are visiting Gallup for the day as we head to Phoenix for the remainder of the week, and we found Fratelli's on Yelp. AMAZING! When we arrived at 6:30p the parking lot was packed - and on a Wednesday! We waited for about 20 minutes and then were seated. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip, which is served with warm baguette slices - perfection. For entrees we had the meatball linguine and the chicken Parmesan- meatballs are house- made and were so flavorful, chicken on the parm was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Entrees are served with a side salad and their ranch was to die for- so thick and creamy. For dessert we had the chocolate gelato, which was the cherry on top of the meal. Yum! The place stayed busy until we left around 8 - a big party was waiting to be sat. The staff are very hard workers - they were busting their butts all over the restaurant for the duration of our meal. Our server (we didn't get his name, unfortunately) was wonderful. Highly recommend, and if we're ever back in Gallup, we'll definitely grab another meal here! read more

We were served undercooked pizza--twice--and it completely ruined our dinner. On the very first bite, I could feel that the dough was sticky and raw. When I checked the pizza, it was clearly undercooked, so we sent it back. We expected it to come back properly cooked, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. When the pizza was brought out the second time, it was still doughy and undercooked. I took photos of it, and they show multiple different slices--all of which had the same raw, gummy texture across the entire slice. This was not just one bad piece. Because of this, we didn't even get a chance to actually eat the pizza. That was our dinner, and we ended up leaving without being able to eat it. What made the situation worse was how it was handled. The manager insisted it was "ranch sauce" and claimed the pizza was cooked thoroughly, which is simply not accurate based on both the texture and appearance. I was also told I was the only person to complain, as if that somehow made the issue invalid. Regardless, we were served undercooked food--twice. They offered a $5 discount on a $21 pizza that we couldn't even eat, which did not feel like a fair resolution. Very disappointing experience overall--not just because of the food, but because the issue was dismissed instead of taken seriously. read more

That was a great recommendation. The eggplant parmesan was excellent. It was thinly sliced and crispy. I would definitely recommend that dish. The tiramisu was really good too. My husband is a tiramisu snob and he loved it. If we ever do another road trip back east and are travelling via Interstate 40 we would definitely go back. read more

First let me say that Angie provided outstanding service! Driving through NM today and needed a supper stop and decided on Fratelli's. So glad we did! The atmosphere is cozy and fun. We sat at the bar since all the tables were full. Drinks arrived quickly and Angie made some really good recommendations all of which sounded good. I always like to order something that I can't get at home, and the New Mexico Roadrunner fit the bill as it is a unique New Mexico flavor. Started with side salad which were ample with a lot of lettuce, a handful of diced tomatoes, and a sprinkling of cheese. I ordered the Roadrunner as a calzone, and when it arrived fresh from the oven I cut into it finding it oozing with cheese and a plentiful supply of toppings. It was a fantastic selection that I thoroughly enjoyed. We also had lobster ravioli as an entree, and it was also very good. Didn't have dessert but saw a couple being served that looked very tasty. And there is an entire Gelato display to choose from as well. Maybe next time. Can't say enough good things about Fratelli's, and I would highly recommend a stop there to anyone local or just passing through looking for a meal! read more

We came here because of good gluten free ratings. We were traveling so we ordered to go. I ordered the New Mexican Linguini (with GF penne). My husband ordered a calzone. My husband brought out the food and we took off. His calzone looked phenomenal (the reason I didn't give just 1 star) and my pasta didn't seem to have any sauce on it. I stirred it, no sauce. I ate the sausage and green chilis out of it but just can't handle plain gluten free pasta. We would have turned around to get it fixed but we had a travel trailer and it would have been too big of a pain to go back. I ate the sausage before I took a pic. As a first-time customer, I was really disappointed. I had heard great things and seen positive reviews online, but unfortunately, our experience did not reflect that. I believe the owner wasn't present, and honestly, it felt like due to that the service wasn't there. To start, we were seated by a very kind hostess who gave us our menus that was the only highlight. After that, there were no napkins, no utensils, and we had to ask just to be able to eat our salad. When I asked to change my salad dressing, the server gave me a strange, annoyed look. He was wearing headphones, which made the experience feel even more unprofessional. I had originally ordered the salmon special, but when I saw the lemon still had a produce sticker on it, I realized the garnish hadn't even been washed. That completely killed my appetite. I asked to cancel the order, and the server called a manager. After that, both my partner and I felt completely unwelcome. When I asked for a box, the server didn't bring the check until I got up and asked for it myself. I ended up paying $47 for one pasta, two salads, and the artichoke, which felt like a rip-off considering the poor service and uncomfortable experience. I would've appreciated a full-refund, none of this was my fault, but the establishments. read more

Great restaurant with good food and great service. The chicken parmesan was a very generous portion. The chicken was well seasoned with light breading and it was very tender and juicy! The pasta was good too. The salad that accompanied it was fresh with fresh tomatoes and grated carrots. The garlic bread and marinara sauce was a great companion to the salad. I was disappointed after such raving reviews . Only one side salad had tomatoes not a big deal but shows a lack of consistency. The " bruschetta" was just diced tomatoes with Italian dressing . The bread was stale . The ravioli was the only thing that was actually good . The lasagna was watery and barely had any cheese . For $20.99 the lasagna should have some cheese inside. It is sad when a grocery store lasagna tastes better . Tiramisu was really mushy and lacked coffee flavor. Why they put so much chocolate sauce is beyond me . The wait staff let people act foolishly loud and not once asked the party to quiet down . They should have been cut off from ordering drinks and asked to leave . Shame on the management for that . The total was around $66 before tip . Not that bad of a price if the food was actually good . This place has the potential to be amazing . We were traveling from Arizona to ABQ and saw a billboard for Fratelli's in Gallup, N.M. We stopped for an early dinner and was very pleased with our meal. Our salads were fresh and delicious with homemade dressing. We split the Eggplant Parmesan on linguine and homemade marinara sauce. It was served hot, with thick slices of eggplant breaded and crisp, Very delicious. Generous portions at reasonable prices. They also served various flavors of Gelato that looked delicious, but we were too full from our meal to try any. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The service was excellent. read more

We were so happy to find this place after visiting the Gallup Flea Market. Pizzas were delicious!! We got the heart attack which was a white pizza topped with chicken strips and bacon bits. The cheese pizza was a classic. The pizza dough was soft with a nice crispy crust. We tried the Poor Boy wings which was Garlic Parmesan topped with pine nuts. The chicken was cooked to a perfect crisp. Also tried the gelato, Horchata flavor was the best way to end a delicious meal. We will definitely be back to try more!!! read more

We stopped at Fratelli's for dinner on our way back to Texas and it was absolutely amazing. The service was great! I got the chicken Alfredo and it was delicious!! One of the best maybe!! Had a stay over in Gallup while traveling. Wanted pasta and this looked like a good choice. Arrived and host eventually took us to a booth. Table cleaner left a straw on the floor - I moved it into the aisle, a path ALL the staff took. NO one picked the straw up while we were there. Wait for server to come to our table took a while. It took a while to get our waters served. Then, we FINALLY had to get the attention of the host to tell our server we were ready to order. Buffalo ravioli - very good. Chicken scallopini - meh. Had no flavor. Salads - nothing noteworthy. At least they serve marinara with their bread triangles. Then, it was the wait to get our bill. THEN, it was a wait to get our tab to sign. There were 5 of them, no customers at all in the dining room, dirty tables that that the staff obviously couldn't be bothered to clean, and a couple waiting for to go food. We stopped at Frattelli's on our way back home to AZ . We arrived and Ruth(the owner) greeted us with a smile and quick step to our table outside. We had our two small pets with us and Ruth was sweet and greeted our girls with a cute greeting. We had two side salads and marina with some crust bread, which was delicious. Our entrees, were Scallopini and New Mexico linguine... sauces on both dishes were amazing and the rest of the dish was prepared perfectly. NY cheesecake for dessert which was perfect with our meal. Make sure you confirm your order. The kids pasta ended up being spaghetti with meatballs (sauce had spices spicy for my little kids but was plenty wet). The shrimp chicken Primavera had an okay taste, kids were able to eat. Though I was hoping for the carbonara, both sounded similar so hubs pointed wrong when he ordered. But he for sure ordered a meat pizza & we ended up with fried chicken strips & fries. Totally not what we wanted, wish we got our pizza which sounded good. During covid times and vehicle eating we were told we didn't order pizza so I guess that's it. Chicken strips & fries were salty and not the best. Best place to eat in Gallup. We travel from Farmington through Gallup at least once a month on our way to AZ. On our way home we saw signs for Fratelli's and decided to stop in. We are so glad we did! Fratelli's is locally owned by Ruth who is one of the most authentic and friendly people we've had the pleasure of meeting. The food is top tier! We got the homemade Hawaiian pizza, pesto, and New Mexico roadrunner - absolutely delicious. Ruth brought us over their signature Alfredo fries, talk about a guilty pleasure! So tasty! Next time we go through we are trying the wings too. We capped off dinner with their homemade Gelato and sorbet, talk about the proverbial "icing on the cake" 5 out of 5 stars.
