Always good food and Good Service. Their salad bar is so big and fresh. They always take your food order fast and deliver the food to your table in a reasonable amount of ttime. The Sizzler restaurant has been in Gallup, NM for as long as I have lived in NM which is around 46 years. I hope it can continue feeding the people of Gallup for many years to come. read more

This is our son's go to place for steak.. Our server Kate was very attentive & helpful. (The only reason why I gave 4 stars.) She kept asking if we needed anything else, refilled our drinks. Even though the place was very busy for the dinner rush. Salad bar was nice and clean. When we were done we told her that is was our son's Birthday she had other servers sing for our son. It made his day and that's important to us. Thank you Kate you are an amazing person. So go see Kate. read more

Sizzler - Rib Eye 14oz with shrimp & Tri-Tip Sirloin 6oz. - Seafood Near Me - Gallup, New Mexico

I dined there, or I should say I went to done there 04/26/20266, Sunday afternoon. Ordered a 14oz. ribeye, medium, baked potato, side salad and coffee. rang up around 43.00 dollars. I got my salad from the salad bar and about 15 minutes later my steak arrive, barely warm, baked potato same way. The butter didn't even melt. I told my waiter, he offered to take it back to reheat/ recook the whole thing. I refused, asked for box, and took it home fed the dog, he seemed to like it. Worst place to eat in Gallup, especially for the price. read more

I had a ribeye and it was thin and over cooked bake potato was ok . Service was great, ambience is standard. The salad bar looked great

Sort of an expert in cuts, my Ribeye was not a Ribeye but an unidentifiable cut, good flavor but really rough and with "nerves"throughout ... I reported it and the Manager came to my table to apologize and explained some new personnel issues and gave me a refund... good experience, I hope the same didn't happen earlier to people who don't know their cuts..! read more

Amazing establishment, first time eating here. Server RJ was extremely friendly and helpful. Most definitely will come again because of the service we received here. read more

The steaks we ordered were surprisingly small. We ordered them to be cooked med and they came out well done. Even had a well done marker in the steak. The staff on the other hand was great. The salad bar was good also. read more

I ordered the steak and lobster. The steak was about the size of a snickers candy bar. I ordered it rare and when it was served it was medium. The lobster was good. Overall it was nothing special, it kinda reminded me of a Golden Corral. This was the first time eating at a Sizzler. I'll probably never eat here again. The service was okay. The server came twice and left us alone the rest of the time. The restaurant itself was kinda dirty. Looking at the air flow system it's dusty and dirty. This place could use a good cleaning from top to bottom. read more

We're so glad that we decided to eat here! The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Haven't seen a Sizzler in years, it was every bit as good as we remembered! read more

Saw all the negative reviews and decided to give it a try anyway. I had the Ribeye medium well with a baked potato. My steak was good and the salad bar had plenty of options. They even had an ice cream bar for dessert. read more

This place is so disgusting. This is was the waiter brought me for our extra plates and napkins for the salad bar. The soup bowl they give you, mine still had yellow water in it. My spoon had food still on it. They brought new napkins and a bug crawled out from between the napkins. I wish I could make this stuff up but nope, very disgusting. read more

Food took for our table of three, 45 minutes to come out on a Sunday at 7 pm. We had to ask about our food Inly to get it warm not hot. Gotta get to this town early before everything else closes read more

Old and outdated but the service was on point. Waiter did an amazing job. Husband ordered steak and shrimp. The servings for the shrimp were so huge he could barely eat half. I ordered the salad bar and it came along with a side serving of a baked potatoe and toast. It's a little town between Albuquerque and Flagstaff and I'm glad we picked Sizzlers! read more

I love to eat here, when I can afford it. I had the Malibu Chicken and it was very delicious along with a salad & soup bar. I highly recommend this place for lunch and dinner. It's a little pricey but still good. Our servers name is RJ and he was very very nice. He kept out drinks full and they didn't even go less then half. Good Job to RJ. read more

Ordered the Steak & Unlimited Shrimp, Solid 3/10 the steak was super thin and if I had to say maybe a 5 oz at most. Good thing I ordered it with unlimited shrimp lol. Restaurant was clean. Food was fresh, hot and well made. This is the second time this week we ate here. I've eaten at the Sizzler in California for years, and it's still one of my favorite restaurants. Sizzler is part of my childhood memories. read more

driving back from ABQ we decided to stop for somewhere to eat while in Gallup. a little hesitant we chose Sizzler. i had my share of disappointments at other steak houses. this experience could be one of the top on my list. i ordered the Steak and 1/2 dozen shrimp. expecting a decent size steak i was served a thin strip..... i asked the waiter what was it I was served laughing she giggled and said that we are limited on steaks at the moment.... hmm? ok i went ahead and proceeded to eat my dinner.... i asked for a med cooked steak and it was completely med rare.... i did not want to send the "meat" (at this point its no longer a steak to me) back i was afraid it would returned overcooked and dry.... on top of everything the price of the meal was way overpriced with what i received. I'm not sure if steaks are trimmed to weigh, but at least make it look like a steak! don't think ill be goin there anytime soon..... read more

I tried to outsmart the old food regularly on the buffet by coming early. I was the 1st person there. Wings, rolls, tostada (?) shells, and carne asada were old. My wife's ribs were served cold. My only guess is a lot of this was cooked the night before. At $46 for 2 people, definitely not worth it. 2 stars is for the steak, fresh fries, and nice girl behind the counter. If you can afford it, go in order a nice hamburger or steak, and leave it at that. read more

Overall the restaurant was good. The service was fast although there was a line at the door. Price was good for the food choices. The only disappointment I have is, the window sills and blinds to the establishment were very dirty. I think time needs to be taken to have them cleaned when there are no customers, like after hours? read more

The food was good and the staff was vet friendly but I think the rating should have been a $$$ on the price. We did not expect to see our bill of 51.39 for 2 people to have lunch. read more

I've never been to a Sizzler before, my husband looked at me like I had 2 heads when I admitted to that. We stopped in. Interesting set up. Order at the register yet have a waiter. Ours was not very attentive. At all. We had to ask several times for more bowls and refills on the drinks. Ordered chicken tenders, very over cooked and hard. The ranch was the best part about the meal, the fries were good too. read more

Sizzler - Really my shoelace is softer - Seafood Near Me - Gallup, New Mexico

I ate here for the first time ever in September and it was pretty good. I had well done steak and it wasn't over cooked. 2nd time was a few days ago and it was pretty much the same deal. I had same entree, endless shrimp, I barely survived just one plate. It felt like so much food. Mostly because I couldn't resist getting one trip side salad. The salad was the best! You can just have that for your meal because they had other options such as pasta desert or like chicken tacos or spaghetti. Service wasn't as good as the first time, our waiter looked clueless and didn't accommodate us when my mom wasn't satisfied with her food. She got a "New York strip" which basically looked like any other steak on the menu. She had also requested medium rare but was overlooked and too much cartilage. When she's dissatisfied we ain't ever coming back. And it's freaking expensive so prepare to spend a lot. read more

Expensive meals for what is offer on the menu. My dinner was served almost 20 minutes and tepid. Men's bathroom was dirty with toilet paper and paper hand towels all over the floor. The server did a great job, however the kitchen made her task very difficult. When I travel through Gallup, NM I won't stop at Sizzler read more

After living overseas so long I still can't use to this American way of dining. It still feels like fast food to me. I hope it will get better.....blah blah blah.... read more

If there was a 0 star I would. I grew up around Sizzlers my whole life. It's the first time I pay $25.00 for a steak and bake potato for dinner and I don't get a salad with my meal. I had to pay extra to be able to get a salad. So I guess I should have gone across the street to Smokey's and had a Steak over there. Since I ended up paying $30.00 stay away!!!!! read more

I haven't eaten at a Sizzler in...not sure how long, but it was actually pretty great. The food and the waitstaff were awesome. Definitely recommend the ribeye, loaded baked potato with mushrooms on the side. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly, greatly appreciate that. One thing that I wasn't fond of though...when my family and I were ordering, the cashier tried to charge us a 10% gratitude but there was sign right in front that said "10% gratitude for 8 guests or more." We didn't have 8 guests, we only had 6 guests. When I confronted her about that, she gave me an attitude. I asked to speak with the manager about this issue but she backed off and decided not to charge me the 10% which I thought was weird...like she knew she was caught and didn't want to get the manager involved. Like I said the food is good and the waiters are great, but I would be careful when ordering and make sure the cashier doesn't try to charge you a 10% gratitude when you have a party less of 8. read more
