4:00pm Sunday Wedding in November The staff seemed very helpful and friendly. Rows of chairs were set up for the ceremony. There were also glasses of champagne for guests to enjoy before the ceremony. Afterwards, we we're ushered to cocktail hour on the other side of the curtain. They set up the tables for dinner while cocktail hour was going on. I was impressed with the food overall. Some things were better than others. I especially enjoyed the calamari. There were so many different appetizers that few of us were hungry for dinner. The salad was an arugula salad with generous portions of mozzarella. The cake was moist and flavorful, especially for a red velvet cake which I feel can easily go wrong. As a frosting lover, I was dissapointed with the frosting. The frosting lacked sugar so it tasted like straight butter.

This is a very nice venue. It's great for a wedding and large party events. The bar and the suites for the bridesmaids and groomsman are placed near the entrance. They had two weddings taking place at the same time. The venue is big enough that you don't notice the other party.

Great wedding venue. The food was really good. There wasn't a single thing that I ate that wasn't yummy as heck. The wedding reception was for 300+ people. We had cocktail hour on one side of the partition and then were escorted around to the other side where the 30+ tables awaited us with antipasto dishes. The bartenders were ok, one of my friends asked for a Moscow mule and she got a drink that was a concoction of whiskey and sprite.

After stopping at the car wash for my weekly routine, I saw Drago's located right across the street…read morejust off of Hopmeadow on the Granby Simsbury line and decided to try it after reading the yelp reviews Walked into this newer breakfast spot, and I could see why it is becoming a local favorite. I loved the excitement from the guests and the staff. This is a happy place! I ordered a breakfast bagel sandwich on an everything bagel, that included homemade sausage, two over easy eggs and cheese, with their homemade hot sauce on the side, to go. I also ordered a regular coffee The place was jammed packed, with a super positive buzz, as I could see very happy customers, and the staff looked like they were pleased to be serving! I received my order rather quickly, in a little bit over 10 minutes. Considering the restaurant was super busy, I could tell the back of the restaurant had their act together, and the total process of this restaurant was really well organized. At eight dollars for this perfectly toasted everything bagel, with homemade sausage with a little kick, two eggs cooked perfectly over easy, along with this cheese that just melted in my mouth, I was sent into heavenly Bliss. The explosion of the different flavors was perfection. The homemade hot sauce was delicious , it was like Tabasco sauce on steroids. Drago's you need to bottle this and sell it! The coffee was fresh, lovingly made on the strong side with half-and-half, and no sugar. This coffee was on point! The treatment to me by the staff was second to none. I just really really appreciate the service and the product. Will I be back? Heck if I could, I would move in! I can see why residents of both Granby and Simsbury are making this not only the local hotspot but a staple in the community Parking is a breeze out front. Keep in mind Dunkin' Donuts sandwiches are six dollars a pop for nothing special; for two dollars more I got this amazing sandwich twice the size, on a lovingly made, toasted to perfection bagel, homemade sausage, and an amazing cheese like I've never had before, and this kick butt hot sauce to top it off! Thanks again Drago's for a wonderful experience. I wish you the best of success here, and good fortunes. You totally earn it, every day, and deserve it

The servers were friendly and quick, and the decor is very rustic and clean. Good sized tables and chairs. It took us maybe no more than 5 minutes to get seated, not a big deal. As for the food, I cannot recommend that chicken and biscuit sandwich more!! The chicken was so tender and crispy, and it paired perfectly with the biscuit, the sauce, and the egg. I will say, it said on the menu it would be an over easy egg but I think it was more medium, but honestly it was SO DELICIOUS it really didn't matter. We also tried a BYO omelet and that was good! I think the broccoli was cooked very well, nothing felt raw in the omelet. I might have liked a smidge more cheese to help it all hold together, but again, not a big deal!! It was a standard omelet, I probably wouldn't get that again but I would 100% get that chicken and biscuit sandwich!! Also their prices are very good!!

My favorite purchases were the fresh cut egg linguine and the Ritz-based stuffed cod. The fresh linguine cooks in a minute and the texture just hits different in the best possible way. The cod was nice and firm and the Ritz stuffing was crazy delicious. I also liked the Chicken Francaise. You can't really compare it to restaurant quality Francaise because it's specifically made to be re-heated and eaten later. With this in mind, I though that the small chicken pieces and lemon sauce were very solid. My other purchases included clam chowder and Tuna Mac Salad with peas. The Tuna Mac was pretty good. It wouldn't be in regular rotation for me, but I'd get it once in a while. The clam chowder was my least favorite, but I respect that New England Pasta seemed to go for something different. The texture was good and it had plenty of clams and potato. But it tasted like it had a little blue cheese flavor. I can't say for sure that they used blue cheese, but the chowder definitely had something different that gave it this vibe. For me, this flavor was a bit too assertive. I don't live near New England Pasta, but if I did, I would visit once in a while. Four Stars

We've had the corn chowder, the split pea with ham, and the super delicious sausage and kale. We went in today and got a butternut bisque, a chili, and an Italian wedding soup and are excited to have them for dinner over the weekend (ETA: The chili wasn't our favorite, but the Italian Wedding was very good and the butternut bisque was fantastic). They also have jams, honey, bread and little snacks. We tried the homemade strawberry jam and it's lovely. On Tuesdays, the soups are two for one (I believe this is every Tuesday, but maybe it was just on the Tuesday I happened to be there), which is a great deal. I have a feeling this place will be in our weekly rotation once the fall weather kicks in.

"I hear a lotta buzzing Sound like my little honey bee…read moreShe been all around the world making honey But now she is coming back home to me" (Muddy Waters) Their roadside sign on Route Ten advertising "Grab and Go' meals caught our eyes, so we stopped in tonight to grab some dinner. You can Grab and Go Monday through Friday between 11:00 and 6:00. If the portion size of our Eggplant Lasagna is typical of the rest, two can split an order. Here were tonight's entrees: Mac and Cheese $12 Chicken Dijon $14 Swedish Meatballs and Noodles $16 Panko Chicken $12 BBQ Pulled Pork with French Fries and a roll $18 Eggplant Lasagna $14 They had one appetizer tonight -a dozen sausage stuffed mushrooms for $16. They had a slew of $5 side dishes like vegetable quinoa, pasta salad, tuna mac, roast carrots, etc. And how can we forget dessert? I saw some cupcakes and macaroons. There were two very pleasant young folks behind the counter who took my order and placed my entrée and a bag of six macaroons ($5) inside a complimentary tote bag. They asked me to check out the freebies on a table on the way out, so I helped myself to a pen, a pad and a book of matches. The Eggplant Lasagna was plenty big for us to split. It had a nice blanket of mozzarella on top with lots of thinly sliced breaded eggplant, creamy ricotta, and sauce. It was very good, but I think it could have used a bit more sauce. And those macaroons? OUTSTANDING!! Very moist, very soft, very coconutty. The Bee's Knees provided us with very good quality food, a generous quantity for $14, and all things considered an excellent value.
