Have brunch with some girlfriends on a rainy day. This a cute place with plenty of seating indoors and in their covered patio area. Even though we were there for brunch, my three friends were in the mood for their lunch menu LOL. Our server (maybe owner?) was accommodating and made them lunch. Our food was very good and flavorful. Portions were perfect; we ate everything. We were able to just relax and chat without feeling rushed out of the restaurant. I would definitely come back.

Met up with my friend Te-See today for a lovely lunch at The Red Cafe. This was a great find by her! Plenty of seating indoors as well as outside. There's also a hookah lounge, but we didn't venture over there--not our thing. Jacqueline was our server and she was so sweet and helpful. She knew the menu very well and prided herself on making the best brown sugar lattes. Well, that was enough for me--we had to try one! I opted for the dine in cup because I wanted the design in my mug lol. It was remarkable! Sooooo good! I couldn't decide between the avocado toast, which my friend ordered and it looked incredible, or the beef shawarma. Jacqueline again suggested the shawarma, so I went with that as well! The serving size was perfect and it also came with a small side salad. The flavor was immaculate! I didn't think I'd finish it, but I did--I couldn't help myself! We were able to sit and chat for a couple of hours and didn't feel like we were hurried out of the place. I highly recommend this place! It was a lot of fun!

We absolutely love this little gem in Glendora's uptown. I tried it for the first time and it exceeded my expectations. The food was mouthwatering and the service was outstanding! I tried their breakfast croissant and to drink, I had their Mexican hot latte! My food was so fresh and tasty, and the coffee was to die for! I appreciated the freshness of everything and the hot and delicious taste of my latte! This small cafe is highly recommended if you're looking for a fresh and delicious cup of coffee. Urth cafe doesn't even come close to this spot! The atmosphere is both cute and trendy, making it the ideal location for a peaceful day of relaxation. Outdoor dining with heaters is also available, which is a great feature! Check them out.

Discovered this gem in downtown Glendora. We were looking for good coffee and we tried their ice HoneyBee latte one day and I have been obsessed. It's now my routine to pick one up every weekend. Their service is great and friendly. Must try!!!!

Came here with two of my good friends. The first thing that caught my attention was their incredible menu variety. And the fact that they still serve breakfast until 1pm was a huge plus. I got the "Too Classic" breakfast. My friends got the grilled cheese & tomato soup, and the gyro wrap. We also got green tea, iced matcha, and an iced honey bee latte. Everything was really great! The food was seasoned really well, portions were perfect, and the ingredients were of good quality as well. The vibes inside were super calming and nice too! Felt very homey and cozy. Staff were super kind as well; great customer service. 12/10 experience definitely will be coming back! :)

Joseph was working alone this morning but provided excellent service, making sure we had what we need and were enjoying our brunch. The food was tasty and absolutely Mediterranean, as I have had French crepe to compare. The value of the food and drinks was well worth the value! I would definitely want to come back, seeing how calm and comfortable the cafe was decorated. I could even imagine studying or making plans in this positively vibing spot.

Ordered one drink and was sitting with my friend and having a good conversation and the owner (old lady) told us that we are taking up spots when there were many open seats available and pressured us to order food when we already ordered drinks in a very unprofessional way. We Owner made us feel very unwelcomed and very money hungry people. This is not a restraunt, it is a cafe. EDIT to the owners response: I would also like to clarify a few things regarding the owner's response. I have never used the café's Wi-Fi and instead use my own personal hotspot. We also do not visit as frequently as claimed.We typically come about once every 2-3 weeks. Over the months we have purchased food, iced coffees, drinks, and hookah on multiple visits. The last time we visited before this incident, we purchased iced coffees. On this visit, we ordered a Coca Cola and were taking our time deciding whether we wanted anything else. We were repeatedly approached and pressured to order more, and were told we were taking up seating despite there being only a few other customers in the café and several open tables available. What made this experience disappointing was not being asked to order, but the way we were treated. We felt uncomfortable, unwelcome, and embarrassed by the repeated pressure. As customers who have supported this business for months, we expected to be treated with more respect. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. Attached below was the owner (Lina aka the older lady owner) response and who made us extremely uncomfortable

Quick stop for coffee! Honey bee latte iced was great. Shoutout to Jackeline(?) for being such a sweet barista helping me choose what to get! My bf and I were surprised at this little gem. Their patio looks so nice to get together with other friends. They apparently serve hookah too but can't really speak to how that is! The menu also has a good selection so I'm ready to come back!

Triple 2 is the best hookah lounge in the area of san dimas la Verne and Glendora. The reason I say this bold statement is because the owner Al and Eli really know how to treat their customers. They have been in the restaurant and hookah business for years. We go two to three times a week and they never get sick of us.. They look forward to our visits and take good care of us. We will continue to support this local family owned hookah lounge.. I encourage everyone to give it a try. read more

On a cold and calm sunday night we decided to drive to this place as the pics on yelp looked interesting. Let me tell you,this place is quite a drive for me but i am glad it turned out to be worth the drive. We walked in at 5 pm and i was awstuck looking at the well done beautiful interior,they have a cozy and well done up patio for an open air hookah experience. The hookahs they have are best in the league,I am a hookah enthusiast and i judge lounges by how they make their double apple.lol. (thats just me).we got double apple mint ,turkish coffee and mocha cappucino.Yousef is a really nice guy,and kept our hookah running. Their hookah setups are so high quality. The hookah hits good,wasnt harsh at all and lasted forever. Yousef was sweet enough to let us sample their crepes which was so yummy. This place is perfect for date nights or a good place to chill smoke hoolah and study. read more

Very disappointing. The crepes were burned and very heavy. The shawarma wrap had no seasoning or flavor and the falafel tacos were really just a falafel wrap- with crumbling falafel. At $11+ per dish, there are far better options in downtown Glendora. read more

This place is cool at night, it has nice colorful lights, the deco in the patio area is Mediterranean like. If you come here after 8pm, Summer should be working, great customer service and friendly. The music playing is R&B and hip hop. It's catered towards the college kids but I like R&B and Hip hop so it's all good. read more

Great place. Love the environment, very cozy and feel like I'm in my backyard. Hookah is very good. The flavor is there and the music is mellow. The new owner is amazing as well as the staff. We love this place! The Sujuk Crepe (savory) is my very favorite and for most of the family this is what we always get. We love to go here and play games. (They have some on hand if you feel inspired in the moment.) We've never felt rushed, staff has always been very friendly. read more

Excellent authentic Mediterranean food! Lina is famous for the Fatteh. I had considered it several times, but passed by as it gives the impression of being only a Hookah place from the outside. Very cute outside patio and wonderful lunch. Great for small groups. No bar as of yet, but perfect for a lunch or dinner with friends or family. read more

This was a very relaxing experience and is a great atmosphere to recover after a long day. The hookah was very good and the atmosphere was intimate and very relaxed. The service was very quick and attentive and the employees are very warm and hospitable. I will definitely be back! read more

The Red Lounge was recommended to me by a friend, since the only restaurants I go to are Middle eastern Restaurants that also offer Hookah. So i decided to take some of my pickiest friends with me, to check out the place. The moment we walked in, we were welcomed with a huge smile, the place looked really nice and cosy. Not to big but not to small, enough to feel comfortable. After sitting down, the waitress approached us right away and took our Hookah orders and drinks. ( No alcohol yet ) But since we were new to the place, the owner herself, " Lina Makdesi " came to our table ( with a huge smile ofcource ) and suggested few of her specialty items. and since one of my friend is a vegetarian, she also told him she will make a special Vegetarian meal for him. We all agreed and thats when it all started. The food was amazing, the ambiance was really positive and very relaxing The Hookah service was great( not once i had to ask for charcoal ) we felt as if we have been going to the place for years. the owner and her employee made us feel very welcome. This is my favorite restaurant in the city. The service was prompt, courteous and professional. The food absolutely delicious. I visited The Red Lounge yesterday evening for the first time. The owner of her local, family run business greeted us warmly when we arrived and seated us at a comfortable table outside. The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely and quaint and offers generous indoor seating as well, however we chose to dine on the outdoor patio because the weather was perfect. She and her competent, friendly staff took excellent care of our party throughout the evening, answering any and all of our questions, discussing and accommodating dietary restrictions and serving super fresh and tasty food. Highly recommend the beef Gyro wrap! The tzatziki was the best I've had and the mint leaf garnish was a refreshing treat that married the flavors of the wrap together perfectly. The dessert crepes were spectacular as well. We tried both the berry and cheesecake variety. We left with satisfied bellies and feeling as though we had made new friends. Can't say enough about the over the top customer service and staff. Check out this local gem right on Glendora Avenue! read more

Best service ever. Ever. Ever. The hookah the owner has is super premium flavors that cannot be beat. The gentlemen who owns the place is an amazing person who puts love into every hookah he serves. He loves the place and loves the customers as well. I've been a repeat customer and every time I come the experience is just as good as the last. I enjoy the environment and how you can come and unwind from a long day. This place, to my friend and I, is the ultimate lounge spot. We love it here and will always come back. The coals are served immediately and the wait for hookah is extremely quick. Whenever we come it's almost as if the owner is already prepared to serve us. The hookahs are extremely clean and the entire building is kept tidy and neat. The restroom is clean with extra stock and good water. Something go take into consideration at this hookah bar is the TEA!!!! It is amazing!!!!! I've tried the lemon ginger and orange spice and both are superb. If you go to other hookah lounges, you can immediately tell the difference after coming here. There is a noticeable quality that you get from this place. Flavor recommendations are White Gummi Bear and Spice Chai. They are my personal favorite! Highly recommended spot! :] read more

Edit5/8/2014 It is my first timw here. We were welcomed with an open heart. Service is great, i ordered my hookah which is grape lemon mint and i got right away. Charcole wer ready as well. I didnt need to wait more than couple minutes . There is an inside seating and outside; we chose to sit outside so we can enjoy our night. Very cozt and chill. It was my friends and my first hookah experience and we went for my 18th birthday. The owner brought me a complimentary hot chocolate on the house to celebrate! And since they serve Starbucks products, it was delicious. The premium hookah is much smoother than the regular. It's worth the extra price. Highly recommend mint chocolate chip premium hookah flavor! It was our favorite even over the spiced chai. The place was so clean and professional, we were all carded at the door. Excellently friendly and attentive service. I haven't experienced any other hookah places yet, but I have a feeling that the Triple Two Hookah has set the bar very high. OMG! This is the best place by far to take someone out! I loved it I ordered the mint hookah ( they have the best tobacco flavors) and some orange spice tea and that was literally the best tea I've had in a while! They have all kinds of different flavored teas I've never tasted yet! I definitely recommend this place for a family get together or even a date I've been here a few times and I can honestly say it's amazing! 100 STARS!! read more

The Red Cafe is unlike any other. The Red Lounge is dedicated to creating a unique environment. Thus, we have meticulously created a luxurious, yet affordable lounge & Cafe in Glendora, CA.

History

Established in 2016.

The Red Cafe was a members only cigar lounge that was transformed into a luxurious Mediterranean Cafe. The indoor is furnished with mahogany woodwork, scenic brick walls, serving bar, French press coffee, free WiFi, and a 50" flatscreen TV. The "backyard patio" (as we call it), offers the ideal atmosphere for friends, family, and clients. Furnishings include a propane barbecue, tropical landscaping, fire tables, shaded seating, and a 55" flatscreen TV.

I ended up making several calls myself to find someone who could send me money digitally. Eventually I was able to get the money sent to me and pay for my order, but I shouldn't have had to go through all of that just to pay for a $25 meal when I was standing there with cash in hand. I'm not leaving this review because I expect every business to always have unlimited change. I'm leaving it because I think a restaurant should be prepared to accept normal cash transactions or, at minimum, have a reasonable solution when they can't. And when a customer asks how they can provide feedback about their experience, there should be a way to direct them to management. It turned what should have been a quick food stop into an unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming experience. I wish i could post a positive review on the food, but that definitely ruined my experience.

I visited Red Lounge Cafe today, which turned out to be quite an experience. Initially, I ordered a coffee, which typically comes with cream and sweetener on the side. However, the cream had already been added to my coffee when it was served, which was unexpected. Following this, I ordered an egg, bacon, and potato breakfast. After taking my order, the waitress--who I believe was also the owner--returned about 7 minutes later to inform me that there were only two pieces of bacon left. I opted to let the other members of my party have the bacon and asked for two extra eggs instead. Once my meal was served, the waitress/owner did not offer any condiments like ketchup, salt, or pepper. I had to follow her inside to request ketchup and butter for my dry bread. Additionally, I was only served one cup of coffee and was not offered a refill, which is unusual since most places offer refills, especially for regular coffee. The food itself was very bland and lacked flavor. When I went to pay, I was advised against using a card due to extra charges, so I chose to pay with cash. They then informed me they didn't have change. Instead of rounding to a customer-friendly amount, the cashier chose to overcharge me. This was a disappointing experience, and I hope by sharing my feedback, the restaurant will reconsider their practices and make necessary adjustments to better accommodate their customers. read more

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The food was excellent, fresh, flavorful, and everything we ordered was on point. The service was just as impressive -- everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. I recently visited Glendora, CA, from Montana. I met a friend for lunch at The Red Lounge Cafe. The employees were welcoming, kind and helpful. Rather nice little place if you love stuffed grape leaves as much as I do. In fact over the years it has been their Falafel and stuffed grape leaves that I have always got, making sure that everything I get is vegan. You can rent a hookah also, and bring your own leaf to smoke quietly before and after your meal arrives. The typical Mediterranean saffron rice was now replaced with plain [bland] rice pilaf, and no hummus or garlic is included with your "Mediterranean" meal. You must pay $10 extra for hummus, and $4 extra for a 2oz disposable container of garlic; a total $14.00 extra for condiments. But you do receive a large Mexican chile and cooked tomato, (to which i personally did not eat because i avoid highly acidic foods.) I would recommend to the Restaurant owners to keep the front door shut (especially when it's 92° out), or install a fan over the front door so that flying insects can't get in, annoy customers & contaminate the food. I would also recommend serving a traditional saffron rice since it is a "Mediterranean" restaurant. Additionally, the hummus was horribly boring and could've used a little garlic added for a little flavor, or garlic, infused olive oil blended it when making it. Garbanzo beans by themselves are boring and flat in flavor. The service was lacking, as our waitress slow or MIA most of the time & in fact at one point we had to leave our table & go find her in the bar as she was helping the bartender with no customers present. But, there are other reasons to visit this charming café. Specialty lattes are made with beans from Mexico and their ceremonial matcha is sourced directly from Kagoshima, Japan. The freshly baked goods in the display case are made by Stephanie with love. They also serve stuffed bagels, sandwiches, & wraps. Despite being tucked away from the street, on the side of a building, it's a popular place. Luckily, our party of 7 was able to secure a spot.
