I ordered the 14 oz and let me tell you, it was moist and delicious. I could only eat half. I didn't know it was gonna be that big. Definitely worth the price of $47 (more or less). We also ordered the Chilean Sea Bass. Another fresh and tasty dish. I had ordered sides since I didn't think it came with any. Well we had a feast for sure. Two dishes with two sides and a glass of wine ended up being $130. I would definitely go here again. All waiters had masks on. Everyone at the casino did. We sat at that exact table in the picture. Beautiful view of the river, amazing food. We had the perfect ribeye, potato a-gratin, fresh bread, broccoli, brought the chocolate torte back to our room. It was the most delicious meal I have ever had! Service was incredible, fresh brewed ice tea was dark brown, fresh, and they generously shared the name of the brand. The hostess took our picture and was incredibly kind. The service assistant was so kind. My recently passed uncle was a sommelier I have eaten in some of the best restaurants in the United States. We are staying at Harrahs and decided to give this place a try. It's beautiful, and we were treated like royalty.. Ottoniel and Gorge took care of us. Both were amazing. They were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We ordered the Coconut Shrimp as an appetizer. ( I order this in every restaurant we go if they offer it) the shrimp was huge and the sauce was amazing. Hands down, the best I've ever had. We both had the wedge salad. My husband had the crab legs for a pretty penny and they were worth every cent. You get a huge portion and the sides are large enough to share!! The au gratin potatoes are more like mini pancakes. Let me start with the bad. I ordered a 5 oz filet medium rare. The steak came out and was not medium rare, it was a very medium steak. I waited for a few minutes for the server to check on the steak, after a couple minutes I ate my steak. I thought the steak was not very flavorful and obviously over cooked. The steak by itself was bland and I expect a great filet when dining at a steak house. I got the Jack Daniels peppercorn sauce which made eating the steak ok. But after leaving I was upset that I settled with a subpar steak at a steak house. The good, we ordered a pork chop which was a nice thick chop, good flavor, cooked perfectly. I am not the biggest pork chop fan but I thought it was very good. The ok, started with a caprese salad, which was not bad, my biggest complaint would be the tomatoes were really cold. I ordered a Bottle of Dom Perignon and was disappointed when the waiter returned with an inexpensive bottle of another brand and explained it was the best they had. My pork chop was over cooked and extremely dry, my wife's steak was fatty and grisly. Inedible. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. They are way off the mark. They need a new Chef and General Manager who can recognize the problems with the restaurant and fix them instead of ignoring them. Your customers continue to return because it's convenient, but don't have anything good to really say either, as it was explained in the poker room, Saltgrass in the Edgewater is a much better alternative for quality of food, service and atmosphere. read more

This might be one of the best steakhouses I have ever been too. And I have been to very many! First off service was absolutely outstanding with no pretentiousness what so ever. We had an appetizer of escargot it was quite different than the usual tired escargot you find everywhere, beautifully presented and delicious. The wedge salad as well! Split for us as we were sharing a plate and presentation was outstanding! We ordered the special which was a petite filet I think 6 ounces for 55.00, served with whipped potato, green beans and shrimp scampi (instead of coconut shrimp which was on the special) steak was cooked medium rare and was perfection! If you are handicapped in any way this restaurant isn't for you. I made a reservation for my family and my dad has trouble walking so we asked if we could be seated up top but everything was booked and the only way down the lower level of the restaurant is those stairs. My husband chose this place for dinner and I'm glad he did. It's located inside the Harrah's Casino in the non-smoking section, kinda hidden. We heard it had great views if you are eating early. We got there around 6pm thinking we can get a seat but we found out that you had to make a reservations. Good thing there was a 7:30 available, bad thing is no view because it will be too late. It just meant we had to gamble at the casino for awhile before we went back. Got seated in a very nice booth facing the window, unfortunately it was dark and all you can see was lights. Started with the cute little loaf of bread that they serve on wooden cutting board. We ordered the Oyster Rockefeller and it was delish! I don't know why someone gave this a bad review. I'm glad I ordered it any way. You get 6 oysters for $17. Then me and my hubby both ordered the Aged Prime Rib 10oz. It comes with veggies and a hard yorkshire pudding. It also comes with a house salad and you can upgrade for $4 more to a wedge salad. My hubby loved the wedge salad, it had blue cheese crumbles, bacon bits, half a boiled egg and parmesean cookie on top. I had the house salad and it a good salad, nothing fancy. For additional side items, we ordered the lobster mac and the yams. OMG, they were both amazing! The sides are huge so it's definitely enough to share even if you had 4 people. We had so much left overs. Next time I think we will just order one order of the prime rib and the sides. This place was great. It's definitely fancy and the prices reflect it, but it's totally worth it, better than some of the other fancy steak houses I've been to. Hostess was very nice. The Lobster bisque we out of this world delicious. My girl ordered the Salmon with veggies she said it was delicious. I ordered the rancher ribeye. I thought I'd try it blackened. Huge mistake. You couldn't even taste the flavor of the steak. Huge bummer. I will have to go back and try the steak on its own and post another review. I went here a couple nights ago , it was really nice but mainly because the service of the manager Vern. Our main waiter was friendly , I did ask for my salad to come out with my meal and he didn't listen to my request but really that was the only time I wasn't satisfied (so small I know) the food was delicious, the vibe and ambience was amazing and romantic . The assistant server that filled our water was so on top of it and super friendly . When it came time to pay our bill we were using our players card (for the Casino) and there was a discrepancy and confusion from the host and reward celebration comps we had but the manager took care of it with no hesitation. We went next day to clear up confusion and pay for it since it was on our end for the confusion and he still took care of it, I just really appreciated his time and understanding and patience really. The Range is getting increasingly difficult to get in. I use OpenTable (2-3 wks in advance) with no issues! Ate here Dec 29, 6:30 and heard 50 people got turned down with no openings for 5 days. The food & service here is amazing! We were served by Cody & Nick and they are superb! Lobster Bisque is my fave! Caesar salad is delicious! Pasta Primavera was perfection! Do yourself a favor and head over to Harrah's on the Colorado River. However, instead of burning all of your hard earned cash at the blackjack tables, book a reservation here and splurge on a dining experience you will never forget. I called six places to make a reservation for 13 people. Most places lost my interest over the lengthy dial tone I was forced to listen to until someone answered saying they were booked that evening. However, Chrissy, the manager at the time I called over to The Range Steakhouse, was quick to answer and got us a reservation in their private dining room. She was absolutely polite and helpful. The two individuals that took our orders and brought out our meals, John and Darian, took immense care of us. Not only did they put up with my crazy family but they provided us with laughter and respect. Not one person I was with had any qualms about their meals. Everything was correct and on point. From the drinks to the desserts, I am astounded at the greatest of this meal. The fact that I was able to get such an amazing reservation quickly for that many people when a large Corvette convention was taking place in town is what is propelling me to say this was the greatest place I have ate at in the city of Laughlin. First and foremost we come to Laughlin when we get some type of special thought the casino. This time the wife says she made reservations at the Range Steakhouse at Harrahs. I said "There's a steakhouse in there?" Tucked away in the corner. There it is. Nice dark intimate atmosphere. The waitstaff appearance is a perfect pairing. Order a bottle of wine to start with the bread. Seafood platter was.....ok. Crab legs were great, but everything else was tasteless or tough. BUT, I'm in the middle of the desert. What do I expect? We split the t-bone and some sides. Here's were the stars dropped off. It reminded me of a breakfast steak you would get at Ihop with your eggs. Unseasoned. Bland. We each had 3 bites of it and really could of left it. If I didn't want to be THAT GUY, I would of asked for steak sauce. Off night? Maybe Last ones in the restaurant and staff wanted to leave? Maybe. After the waiter brought back the bill we never saw anyone after that. NOT A SOUL. We sat and finished our bottle of wine, and didn't see anyone for 20 min before we left. Ehhh........Good. The photo of the soufflé dessert captured our attention as not many places can make them... the chef who once made them no longer works here. Starters Caesar salad and escargot. Neither of these two dishes were the way they should be made. Escargot was lacking in flavor and had the appearance as it was left out for too long as the sauce had a glazed over appearance. The sauce was too think and not much flavor as one would expect. The Cesar salad had good crisp lettuce but the dressing was not on point and seemed to be a bit overwhelming.. too much dressing.
