Visited this retaurant while staying in Laughlin on the river and was seated fairly quickly, and was able to place our order quickly as well. The food came out pretty quick and everything was absolutely delicious! The pizza was a thin crispy but chewy crust with a massive amount of cheese the way I like it.. ugh sooo good.. Then we had the roasted chicken alfredo and it to was also amazing the noodles were al dente with a little chew, the alfredo was thick and creamy as it should be.. The roasted chicken was definitely flavorful. I do wish there were more noodles to chicken ratio because it had quite a bit of chicken. Over all it was delicious. Diane and I arrived here for a late dinner intending to eat at Cafe Aquarius. But when we found out that the Cafe was already closed, we were directed here as the only restaurant still open at the Aquarius. The menu is not very extensive, but several pasta dishes and pizzas are available. We weren't keen on ordering a pizza because the images we saw depicted the Neopolitan variety which feature mounds of Ricotta Cheese which neither or us are fond of. A Cheese Bread Basket was very good, and my order of Bucatini Amatriciana with tomatoes and a lot of garlic good. And Diane was satisfied with her Penne with Shrimp Alfredo. Zesty, flavorful, thin-crust pizza that satisfied my family's evening cravings!!! Make sure you have a reservation for this place on a holiday weekend. I took my family there without a reservation and almost got turned away. But we got in and ordered the pizza and mozzarella sticks. It didn't disappoint a hangry family. The pizza is thin crust, which traditionally I'm not a fan of, but the sauce had flavorful seasoning, and the cheese wasn't greasy- even better. By the time we were done with the pizza, we were all delighted and had enjoyed it. The mozzarella sticks didn't disappoint either. The restaurant is located towards the back, away from the crowd. I'm really surprised reading the reviews about poor service. I suppose we were just fortunate. We went two nights in a row and the service was friendly and timely. Been here before and food has been great, family loves the red wine short ribs in pasta. The woman (manager) was surly and not very personable for this type of job. This places closes at 11:00. I was incredibly disappointed by my experience here. I had reserved a room for $285 and arrived with a friend, expecting a welcoming stay. Instead, I was met with cold refusal. DEBORAH BYRD turned me away, and when I asked if she was certain about denying services, she confirmed with a "yes" and walked off, leaving me standing there. I was humiliated. The space itself looked beautiful, and I imagine the food might have been excellent. But I'll never get the chance to find out , I'm not a local and won't be returning anytime soon. River Rock is a local favorite inside the Aquarius. I noticed quite a few folks placing pick-up orders (and with good reason). The wait was excruciatingly long, I think the staff underestimated the amount of orders they placed all in one shot. My issue with River Rock is that they allowed people who weren't even dining-in to place orders at the front and let them request they have their food delivered to them at the Splash Bar! This was unacceptable and a disservice. I'd understand if customers were picking up, but this was not the case. You could imagine dine-in customers being seated promptly, thinking they'll get their meal soon, only to realize the bar next door is FILLED with orders ahead of them. I was mad. My table and I waited 2+ hours to receive our food, we were seated immediately which makes this all the more shocking. Sadly, all the other dine-in patrons experienced this, including a woman who walked out and a family whose children fell asleep at the table waiting for their pizza. How was the PIZZA? I'm not going to lie I had high expectations given the wait time and I was not disappointed. This was the only saving grace, it was excellent. We ordered two delicious pizzas and an antipasto salad. I HIGHLY recommend the Margherita and Veggie pizzas. Both had authentic ingredients. The Margherita was my top pick but the Veggie wasn't far behind. The Veggie pizza had cheese that tasted like ravioli filling! I would eat them again. I also really enjoyed the live entertainment. We got to enjoy the last leg of this avant-garde singer with an amazing voice and kazoo skills. I could listen to him all night, he was so sweet! Very personable with the customers! Overall, the aesthetic of the restaurant was super cool, it was Italian meets rock concert. There's quotes from classic rock songs on the wall and trendy decor. Just terrible. We went on a Friday night and they were grossley understaffed. Our poor server had to cover at least 1/2 of a basically full restaurant. We ordered and they did not get either order right in the kitchen. I ordered spaghetti with meatballs and got angel hair (not the biggest of deals but a simple order) and my wife ordered eggplant parm but got chicken and did not get her soup at all. The meatballs were fine but the sauce left water in the bottom of the bowl. Due to the understaff, it took forever to get our food and refills were very slow so even tho the server and who I assume was the manager saw the error and offered to remake it we decided not to wait and just had the chicken.. Again, the server was working with what he had and hustling as best he could. We were still charged for the wrong order and not offered anything as an apology. This was a crap show from start to finish. Maybe if they had the people they needed it would have gone better but we will never know. The woman manager that "hangs out" doing a bunch of nothing is not friendly to customers or employees and definitely not helpful ~ Must be nice to do nothing and get paid for doing nothing. Came Saturday 12/20 @6 the dining room was not crowded for a sat night and yet the service was a 2 at best. The coffee was told to be made fresh but was luke warm, and when asked for it to be warmed I had to ask twice for my coffee. One of the plates was brought out to which what wasn't what I ordered. I had as well ordered the motz thinking they would come before our meal,again had to ask 3 times for them. The manager did come an remove the motz from our ticket, recovery was a 4/10. When leaving trying to pay the bill the service was a 1/10 they handed us the bill and did not wait to retrieve after they took the payment for the last receipt. read more

We were in laughlin 2 weeks ago and went to eat at River Rock Cafe and we really enjoyed it. We had a party of 8 and they were quick to get us a table the 2 ladies at the front were very kind. Once we sat our waitress was quick with getting orders with drinks and the food we had kids with us. Our waitress was super helpful and very nice to our table. Drinks came out good and everyone enjoyed the delicious food. We will definitely be back our next trip to laughlin. If your staying at aquaris this is the best place to eat at for sure! read more

The front service was a wait for how slow it was, on a Tuesday... The food was okay, good to help sober up, we had gotten the All You Can Eat Pasta for $10.99, a deal! The sauces that we got that were good - Vodka & Marinara (as good as cheap), the Alfredo was so off putting and liquidy, did not seem right. The best part was the cheesy bread for $6, actually stellar, but did not help that the service was poor than anything. The view we got made up for it, but it took 10 mins each time to refill! 04/01/2024 Came by for dinner at about 6:30 was seated right away. There were 8 in our party. We were served by Carlos, he was great refilling drinks before they were empty and always checking if we needed anything else. For appetizers we had 2 orders of garlic bread oh man it was so cheesy and the garlic aroma filled the whole restaurant. That's a good thing. My brother and I shared a Brooklyn Style Pizza Big Meatballs, Pepperoni, Red Onions, Ricotta Cheese. Man we both had 4 huge slices each and we were stuffed. Crust was just right, pizza was just warm it would of been nice if it were pipping hot. Rock music was playing setting up a good vibe. Service was 5 stars, food was just shy of perfect 4 stars. I've been here several times in the last few years and the food's always been delicious but the last time I was here the service was awful gave it. Another shot came out here with my sister, and we ordered the brace short rib pizza and there was no meat on it just mushrooms. Basically it was a mushroom pizza and we told the waiter who was totally awesome princess, but the manager did not have a smile on her face at all looked grumpy and we told him about the pizza and the manager never came over anyway not worth the money. They totally cut the meat out. There was maybe two very thin slivers of brace short rib on this mushroom pizza very disappointing and you can tell most of the people that were in there. I have come here for years every summer and I don't know why I keep giving them chances. The service is awful. They genuinely do not want customers. Every time we've been seated it's 20 minutes before we even get greeted, and about an hour before food comes. They always act inconvenienced. River Rock Pizza and Pasta replaced what was the Vineyard Ristorante at the Aquarius a few years ago. I think the menu from the Vineyard was a bit more of an Italian restaurant than a pizza place that happens to have pasta. I was seated at a booth. I looked over the menu. My server, I believe his name was Chad, was very helpful. I asked about the size of their starters and he mentioned the calamari was a small enough size for a solo diner. I ordered an iced tea, the calamari, and the cheese ravioli. The calamari was great. The marinara was just right for dipping. The ravioli came. It was OK. From my photo, it looks a bit off but it's not. The menu describes it as spring peas, asparagus, burrata cCheese, lemon & basil pesto butter. The ravioli had a good cheese flavor and the peas and asparagus added good texture to the dish. I opted not to have dessert. The calamari and ravioli were certainly filling enough. Service was very good. I think I'll be going to Bullhead City if I want Italian when I'm in Laughlin again. There are many good options there with more choices than River Rock offers. read more
