I had a great experience here when I went one busy weekend night to get a pizza to take to my room at Harrah's. They were very busy, but still friendly, and I got my pizza quickly. Concert night, so super busy-we definitely take this into account for this review. We decided on pizza for a quick dinner before the Killers concert. There is no seating, this is pick up only. Basically, you're supposed to be able to pick your crust, sauce, and toppings, but because they were so busy and only had 4 people working, they only had regular options: cheese, pepperoni & meat lovers. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, we ordered a cheese pizza. These are thin crust, gas oven baked pizzas. Another 15ish minutes and we got the pizza. Now we had to find a place to eat - we opted for the pool area because, why not? It was chilly and the guys next to us were smoking a cigar. We got 7 napkins, 2 packets of cheese and peppers. The pizza looked like something they served for school lunch and cost more than a pie from a delivery spot. The sauce tasted like watery jar spaghetti sauce and the cheese was not really evenly distributed. The pizza? Good to me, unsatisfactory for my husband. The night that we chose to eat there was hopefully a one-off for this place, but not sure. We waited for our pizza for at least 1 hour. Persons next to us ordered individual slices and still waited a ridiculous amount of time. When they finally had the order ready for the family that ordered before us, it was all wrong. And during all of this, a big boss from who knows what department in the hotel walked into this little pizza space to speak with the 3 staff running the pizza fiasco. Didn't actually help to at least fold pizza boxes orrr maybe offer a little 10% off coupon to the mass of us waiting on our food, for next time (which I doubt any of us would really use). All she said to the young adult staff is "you should be fine with this" while pointing to dough. Gist is if you ever can't decide if you want to try this place, save your hard earned vacay time and go elsewhere. Let me first say that this WAS my favorite pizza in Laughlin and I made it a point to eat there even though we dont stay at Harrahs (rooms never get cool). This last time we went which was a couple weeks ago their entire menu had changed. I used to get a pizza that was perfect to split for 2 people and it was under 15 bucks. They no longer offer that. Their only option now for a whole pizza is 26 dollars and it doesn't taste the same as it used to AT ALL. The dough is no good the cheese doesn't taste the samel. What a disappointment. Since it was a Monday, the food court area was a ghost town, so the service was quick. The price was reasonable for being in a resort area. Pin Up Pizza stays dark until 5pm. In my opinion, it should stay dark after 5pm too. The slices they sell are huge, and they look tasty enough, especially after a few beers. But be forewarned, their enormous size can hide hidden peril. As was the case with my slice. The crust was paper thin at the point of the triangle, and as I worked my way up the slice, the crust got gooeyer and gooeyer. It wasn't fully cooked. What should have been a nice pallet of bread supporting the usual pizza ingredients, was instead, a doughy mess. At a penny shy of 10 bucks a slice, I expected more. You should too if you're drawn in by the sights and smells of Pin Up. No, I didn't complain. I was already tucked away in my room, and didn't want to venture back down into the gambling depths. I'll just chalk it up to lesson learned. I should have had something on my stomach before passing by. Those cheesy sirens drew me into their lair, and I crashed on the rocks. I ordered a cheese and they grabbed the pizza in the box already out of the warmer, the place wasn't busy at all yet the pizza was barely hot and the cheese was rubbery. $10.99 for a cheese pizza is ok considering this is a "destination" spot but if I paid that back home in Wisconsin I'd be unhappy for sure. $10.99 for barely warm pizza which was sitting in the warmer for who knows how long?! Pretty average pizza although crust is good. I know this is a chain because we've been to the one in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood. That one over there I remember is better than this location. Slices are $6-7.25 each cut off a 30" giant pizza. So, they are large slices. If you buy the entire pizza it will cost you $65. There are 14" 1-topping available for $15. But that may be the only way you will get fresh pizza, since the giant ones just sit on a rack or a table. Reheated slices are not a bad thing, but if they've sat there for 4 hours or even overnight- well, I think you know what I mean. A bit more than a calculated guess. Walking up to order, there was about 6 in front of me. Someone asked one of the guys when they were closing. He said 1100. It was 1055. By the time I received my slice, it was 1115. The cook took out 4 different 30" pizzas from the oven during this time and just loaded them on the rack. Then he removed his apron, apparently done for the night. He went into cleanup mode while the other dude ran the register and told him, "We need to close soon." I really doubt they were taking all these pizzas home. I meant to walk by later just to see if the racks were hidden but forgot to do this. However, around 1100am(when they opened)next morning I walked by and saw several cold whole pies ready for reheating. I love the location in Vegas, so when I found out they had one at Harrah's I was instantly craving a slice. I came in around 3:45 pm on Sat 8/24 and ordered. While waiting for my slice a manager came by with a clipboard and no smile or personality. She was reprimanding the staff in front of us and told them out loud that the pizzas that were out were EXPIRED. In my mind I was like "that means the pizza I'm waiting for that was put back into the oven is EXPIRED". The manager knew that we were waiting for a slice, she should have said we will make you a fresh one. She never acknowledged that we were there so it didn't surprise me. The pizza was disgusting and we couldn't even eat it. We have never been disappointed at the Vegas location and we go often. 3/30/2024. ZERO STARS! Disgusting! Absolutely DISGUSTING! Everything about the order was also ridiculous! No more than 4 ingredients allowed on the pizza. We wanted to have veggie, but add pepperoni. All pizzas are pre-made so I believe they just won't adjust anything because they don't care and have no desire to make the customer happy. And they show it too with their attitude and complete disregard to the customer. So sad because It's not that hard to make good pizza! Because it's pizza! We ordered two veggie pizzas. They was so gross! Smelled awful and it was AWFUL! Practically NO SAUCE! Not even one bite had enough sauce to taste it or feel it. It looked like they took a pastry brush and barely coated the crust with sauce because all you could tell was it had a slightly pink/red cast under the ingredients. This place is a reheat only pizza place. All premade with no changes allowed. It was barely lukewarm. Crust was not crisp at all. It was limp and chewy. I tried to cut it because it wasn't cut well enough to make pieces. It was so tough, I finally had to tear it! They only sell whole pizzas when they apparently used to also sell slices. Don't believe the good reviews! They are years old anyway. Don't even give this place one bit of consideration! Expensive and horrible! Harrah's SHOULD cancel the lease for this restaurant, or DEMAND better from them! Even if they have no other restaurant to replace this one, it would be a better choice to get rid of it. Service was horrible. The people handling the pizza are sassy and don't like fixing their own mistakes. Only had one hot pizza and a pepsi. I asked the lady to specifically make my pizza hot. When i went up to my room, the pizza was still lukewarm and already getting colder. So when i went down to tell them, they seemed bothered that they needed to fix their mistake. While waiting for another slice, i of course needed a new Pepsi that was not watered down. Mind you there was no line and no other person to service, so why would they need to be sassy?
