Amazing movers and great price! We're in an out of my apartment with no issues or damage to my home. Lorenzo was very communicative through the whole process and ensured we were 100 percent satisfied before leaving. Would recommend for any move big or small. read more

Great moving experience! Good communication and the job went real smooth and professional.

My husband and I hired Lorenzo to move us from our 1-bedroom apartment into a storage unit. We found Lorenzo here on Yelp based on the good reviews, but our experience was mixed. We'd scheduled 3 movers for $165/hr, but only two showed. (Lorenzo and his son, Jacob.) Because of this, Lorenzo said he wouldn't charge us for the full time -- only the amount of time we were quoted for 3 movers. Instead, when it came time to pay, we were charged a "2-mover rate" of $135/hr for the larger number of hours that it took with fewer people. This was not what we considered a competitive rate, nor what we had agreed to. Furthermore, a piece of furniture scratched the floors when it was pulled away from the wall. It was an accident, but it was handled with resistance and nervousness by Lorenzo, even though it was the responsibility of the movers. We ultimately agreed we'd follow up with him to file a claim and/or receive a credit if there was an issue with our move-out inspection. This meant it was up to my husband and I to attempt to clean and repair the floor -- several hours of our time the following afternoon, for which we received no compensation, discount, or even acknowledgement. All of this being said, Lorenzo and Jacob were polite and hardworking, and had we not had the above two snafus, we'd likely have been quite pleased. (Since our stuff is in storage, we have yet to see if any of our belongings are damaged or broken.) read more

Lorenzo and his amazing 4 movers killed it! We had to get to the closing of our house and only had 5 hours to move close to 100 boxes/bins and some furniture. They got everything in the new house with time to spare, did it without breaking a thing (only one Clorox casualty from a badly packed box), and were able to get everything in it's proper room. I cannot say enough about how amazing and professional they were - and all masked! Super safe, quick, communicative and extremely organized. I don't think we're moving again for some time, but I will recommend ProMovers to everyone I know. Thanks! read more

What can I say? These guys are the real deal. Lorenzo and team - thank you for lifting heavy items up a 5 story walk up and bringing it to the city. I would not have gotten this done without them. Friendly, efficient, affordable, you'd be silly not to use them. 100% recommended. I never write reviews but this was worth writing one for. They are honest , attentive to detail, very quick, and get the job done perfectly. THANKS Team! read more

The ProMovers - Truck - Movers Near Me

The ProMovers are the real deal. Lorenzo, Jacob, and Rory seamlessly moved me out of my apartment and safely secured all of my belongings to the storage unit. I would highly recommend this team to anyone looking to move. They're great people and the pricing is fair. It's quality over quantity with them! Thanks for all of your help! I look forward to the next move with them knowing I'll be in good hands. read more

Lorenzo and his team were fast, efficient, safe and friendly and went the extra mile!!! Highly recommended!!!! They put together a Furniture of America Rola Mission Twin Xl/Queen Bunk Bed with Trundle from Overstock.com for me. They also cleaned up afterwards. Lorenzo is the real deal. Professional, courteous and quick. I moved out of state and it was super affordable.

Lorenzo and his crew were on time and very professional and their experience made the moving an absolute pleasure. Due to Ida our building did not have a working elevator so they had to bring everything down 4 flights of stairs. Then on the townhouse a lot of furniture had to go upstairs. They managed to handle it all expertly and fast. I highly recommend them. If you get Lorenzo and his crew you will not be disappointed. read more

Lorenzo and his team at The ProMovers are absolutely outstanding!!!! I highly, highly recommend! The ProMovers Were very quick to respond to my enquiry and get a team together, despite the short lead time (same day in my case). They could have taken advantage of my situation and upwardly charged, but they remained competitive. Each mover was highly energised, they worked really well together as a team and were very fast and efficient, whilst totally focussed on taking good care of my furntiture. Despite my move being out of a 5 floor walk up, there was never any complaint, only good vibes and determination :) Thank you so much Lorenzo and team! You are wonderful and I so appreciate your kindness, care and productiveness read more

Lorenzo and crew showed up on time with masks and were extremely pleasant throughout the entire process. Everything was packed up, moved and unpacked seamlessly. They even took great care to place my items exactly where I wanted them. I highly recommend The ProMovers! read more

I would give these guys less than one star if I could. I'm not sure who wrote these 7 good reviews cause it's clear these guys cheat people of their money every chance they get. Not only did these guys arrive a half late, they took their sweet time loading up the truck from the storage room. By sweet time, I mean a full 2. 5 hours when I was on the clock for 3. Knowing that they had 3 hours, they took breaks and slowed down the process as much as possible. When they arrived at my apartment building (which is not even 10 minutes away from the storage space) with a half hour on the clock left, they immediately asked to pay for the unfinished service AND charged me an extra $200 for the possibility of going overtime....Lol how can you ask to get paid before the 3 hours are even over AND ask for an additional 2 hour fee? That means they knew they were going to take their time so they calculate all of this?.....I paid him the money I owed him so that the guys who actually did all the work could at least get paid. Unfortunately, but he ran off without giving me a receipt AND left his guys alone with us which was incredibly unprofessional to say the least. They left all my stuff at the curb of the building. My sisters and I, (3 of us) brought all that furniture up ourselves in an hour and 15 minutes. If we were able to bring that stuff up ourselves in that amount of time, how did it take them 2.5 hours to bring down stuff -which everyone knows is easier than unloading). It's pathetic and sad the way some people run their businesses. I have second hand embarrassment for them and it's safe to say I won't use these guys ever again and will make sure no one I know will use them. Pathetic. read more

My mother recent downsized and I called Pro Movers. Lorenzo and his team were amazing. They took such care in handling her furniture and her precious belongings. They made her move easy and care free. They were on time, friendly, Covid safe, meticulous and careful. They even gave tips for furniture care!! Highly Recommend!! read more

Lorenzo's team was by far THE BEST team of movers I've had in my 10+ years in NYC/LIC area. From booking, deposit, moving day, all communications were kept in clear and professional manner.. the Team showed up right on time (9am on the dot) and kept working through the pile of stuff from start to finish - I was charged by the hour and I was truly impressed with how hard the team worked. Great teamwork between Lorenzo, Will, Rory, and Jacob - supporting each other and made sure my stuff got moved efficiently and swiftly without damaging anything. The move was from Long Island to Westchester, INCLUDING ~1hr of travel time, they finished the entire move in 3HRS!!! (2+BR worth of furniture and many mid/large boxes, laundry bags). Again, non-stop hard working from start to finish. highly HIGHLY recommend these guys. Thank you ProMovers!! read more

Due to Covid I moved to Colorado and needed someone to pack all my items. Lorenzo was great from start to finish, he communicated with me throughout the time and packed everything that was needed and in record timing. He came in with gloves and a mask and made sure we would be safe!!! read more

I used The Pro Movers earlier this month to move into my apartment in Brooklyn from Long Island. Lorenzo, who is the owner himself, and Rory were absolutely great. Before any moving, I spoke with Lorenzo on the phone about all the details, and he answered all my questions and concerns. On move-in day, they went to two pick-up locations without any fuss. They took serious care of our furniture and they were super fast as well. They're very considerate with how you prefer things. They have all their own equipment. They're strong men who climbed multiple stairs with heavy furniture with drizzling rain! I cannot thank them enough. I just recommended them to my father in law who is considering moving himself. I will continue to recommend them with my highest remarks. They're a great local business to support! read more

I booked Lorenzo and his team a couple of weeks ago. They were professional, friendly and most importantly, on time! This was my first move in six years and they definitely made it less stressful. The guys were super careful with my stuff when they loaded and unloaded my belongings. I appreciated the flat-fee that they offered. Not having to deal with variables that could increase the price (more boxes than anticipated, parking, etc.) made the process feel easy. Thanks, guys! read more

We had heavy cabinets to move but they did it quick without problems. Fast and efficient! Will definitely recommend them.

They were responsive, professional, easy to work with, affordable, and took great care of my things! I'd call them again in a second!

Great and fast movers! Super speedy, nothing broke, and such nice guys! They were able to carry things that I even thought to myself "That's not even possible without equipment." Five stars all the way! read more

These guys were great. It was so easy to book I was afraid it wasn't really setup, until Lorenzo called and text me the night before. They worked extremely hard all day and did a great job. Perfect move. No complaints at all. We moved from a 3rd story walk up and they handled it like it was nothing. They went above and beyond all day and nothing was even slightly damaged. Great guys. Great experience. read more

Lorenzo and the guys were great. They were on time and were easy to work with. They hauled my stuff from a third floor walkup to my new apartment. They disassembled and assembled my dining room table and bookcase seamlessly. Overall, great experience and I'm going to hire them again for my next move. read more

Lorenzo and his team were fantastic!! And in the middle of a pandemic no less. They arrived on time, quickly handled my million boxes and pieces of furniture, and unloaded them into my new apartment just as efficiently. Communication and payment was really swift and easy. Lorenzo always got back to me super promptly about questions I had. Him and his crew were also extremely kind, professional, and so gracefully accommodating when I made a few last minute changes. 100% would hire these guys again for my next move and will recommend to friends! read more

Lorenzo and his crew were all class, and got our move done in exactly the time he quoted us. We were moving from a 5th floor walk-up too, so we weren't sure how fast they could realistically get it done. I'm definitely recommending ProMovers to friends if they need to move! read more

I contacted Lorenzo about a month prior to me moving in and he was quick and accurate with his responses. Him and his team came on time and were very nice. They wrapped my furniture in padding and tape (very thoughtful if you ask me). After coming to my new place, they placed everything where I wanted and even helped with a favor I asked. No issues with the move whatsoever. I would definitely use this moving company again. They were efficient and nice, with a reasonable price. read more

So today I moved and I was a nervous wreck. First I wanna start by saying I've never used a moving company before so my anxiety was through the roof. But these guys were amazing. They showed up early(always a good sign). They took their time and disassembled what they needed to. Carefully wrapped my things and loaded them onto the truck. Throughout the whole process they were nice and respectful. Which was a plus because being a female and having 3 strange men in your home in control of your possessions puts you in a vulnerable space. But I felt at ease and Lorenzo kept his word which was that he would take care of me, and he did. I'd def use this company in the future and I'll def recommend them. Thanks Lorenzo you're the best!!! read more

I dislike very much moving but thanks to Lorenzo and his crew the move was a breeze. Lorenzo and his crew did an excellent job with my move. They took care of my furniture. Lorenzo was very communicative as soon as I requested a quote. He gave me a competitive quote and his team arrived early the morning of my move. They worked hard and took great care of my belongings. I would recommend Lorenzo/Pro Movers if you need moving service in the NY/Tristate area. read more

Lorenzo and team were fantastic! Right in the middle of our move I had a business trip scheduled, and then an unfortunate death in my family which caused me to fly home early. Upon my return my focus was of course on my family and not packing. Needless to say, we were NOT prepared to move on our scheduled day. We scrambled the night before to get things ready for the movers to take. Lorenzo and team went above and beyond in helping ease our burden - not only did they move our stuff in/out but they helped us arrange it, took out the old stuff (which we hadn't planned on) AND put together some of the furniture. All for an extremely reasonable price. Moving is always stressful but this team made it ever so easy! I highly recommend them. read more

I booked ProMovers for last Sunday and wow...what an incredible team of kind, hardworking, upright folks! From the initial booking to the big day, ProMovers were seriously professional--communicative, organized, and true masters in the art of moving. Plus, among the quotes I received, they were the only ones who initially offered 4 men and at a really great hourly rate. I was nervous about finding the right movers because I knew my move would be quite the challenge...5 story walk-up with many heavy boxes and furniture, fragile and oddly shaped items, 2 separate furniture pickups--all stairs and no elevators...but ProMovers took it all in stride and went above and beyond to deliver everything in perfect condition, working together seamlessly and clocking in at the exact number of hours quoted--all while staying friendly and upbeat! When they arrived exactly on time, I was behind on packing and ready to call it a day but Lorenzo assured me that they could get it all done so they stepped up and did just that. They truly saved the day! These guys actually care which is why they keep their customers loyal so book ahead for peak moving dates, respect them for their expertise, and support this local family-run business! I'm so grateful for them and their good work and am definitely recommending ProMovers to everyone I know. Thank you ProMovers! read more

The ProMovers - Loading up with plenty of blankets on hand! - Movers Near Me

Great and quick job! He was able to help me move a giant box with a delicate double vanity up a flight of stairs and into my home.

Showed on time, and packed within the budgeted window. Packed without incident, everything was fine at the receiving end. Stayed within budget, and were fast. Had a truck full of the right materials to get it taken care of. Especially if you are in Brooklyn or nearby, they're close and quick. Far cheaper than the last move I did. read more

Extremely professional. These gentlemen were quick and careful with both my personal items and the house that I was moving into. They didn't stop moving until everything was packed up and unloaded. Would highly recommend. read more

I recently moved from my 1 bedroom Brooklyn apartment to another. I was lucky enough to have Lorenzo and his team on the job. I would highly recommend them! read more

To say The ProMovers go above and beyond would be an understatement. With very little lead time, I had to move the contents of my one bedroom Brooklyn apt into a storage unit in East Brunswick, NJ and I'm so glad I went with The ProMovers! My apt was not the ideal move. I could be hot and cramped in part. I have 12 pieces of large furniture, some very delicate and/or heavy, 25 boxes and other various items. Finally, I could only move on a Sunday. I requested estimates from approx. 15 different moving companies and by far the best and most prompt was from The ProMovers. Due to my estimate of time (I booked for 4 hours and through no fault of Lorenzo and his team, the move took 5) the final cost was understandably higher but still beyond reasonable and affordable where movers are concerned. Beyond the financial, we all fear that movers will treat our belongings carelessly however, upon speaking with and observing the work Lorenzo and his team performed, all fears were quickly cast aside! The care, skill and respect the team took with each and every item is exactly what we all hope for when hiring movers. They even helped me figure out an efficient and accessible layout for my storage unit so that I can easily access my belongs while they're stored away. Lorenzo, Jackie and their staff are amazing and I cannot recommend The ProMovers enough! You will not regret hiring The ProMovers! read more

Lorenzo and his team were phenomenal! If you're looking for hard workers, who care about your belongings as if they were their own, this is the team for you. I can't recommend them any more highly! My girlfriend and I had just purchased a bunch of new furniture, and they meticulously wrapped up everything (with layers of blankets and padding), so that nothing was damaged in the move (a first ever)!!! They did a fantastic job and I would encourage anyone to enlist their services. So happy with their work! read more
