I remember when this location used to be Augie's before Covid-19...it's interesting to see the changes. Well, I really like their Old Town location, so I decided to check this one out. They offer the same good quality coffee selection--the Belgian and Mayan mochas are my go-to and I order it with oat milk. The restrooms are open to customers (this is a big factor for me) and they have wi-fi for those of us looking for a place to work/study outside of our homes. However, the wi-fi signal is not fantastic. That being said there is plenty of outside space to socially-distance yourself and I appreciate being able to do that and sit comfortably in the shade. All the employees were wearing masks and there was enough room to stand apart from other customers while waiting for my coffee. Parking is easy here because it's in the Vail Ranch shopping center next to Kohl's. It's walking distance to a bunch of retail and food joints as well. read more

decided to check this coffee shop out while walking around the farmer's market. the inside and setting is so cute & aesthetically pleasing! i did see people working on their laptops which was nice to see because it seemed like a good, quiet, and peaceful place when i visited! the employees here were so nice and even asked me if i've been helped yet when i was just checking out the menu to see what i wanted. i ordered an iced matcha latte with oatmilk. i really liked it! i'm a huge lover of matcha and love trying matcha from any and every coffee shop i come across. i do love my matcha on the sweeter side now so i'll try it with more vanilla sweetener next time. they also have stores & cute little shops around like food/retails spots, so make a trip out of it and check out the area! read more

First off I ordered an iced chai and realized they didn't add cinnamon on top so I went back inside and asked for cinnamon, it was so little but okay. I always order to go lattes since I live a bit far. And again no cinnamon . On top of that they gave me 1 iced instead of hot .so I order another one . Now I'm im left with ordering 4 drinks and only one with cinnamon. They tasted just like milk . Definitely skipping this location !!! read more

I got a recommendation from a Michelin star chef to try the amazing Lavender infused Cheesecake w/ what seems to be homemade whip cream & it's great! No doubt. I looked at the coffee menu & the pb truffle latte seemed like it would be wonderful addition but it was absolutely terrible. I watched these two guys seriously look like it was their first time making a coffee. I started getting worried and wanted to cancel my order. One guy says to the other, "Is it supposed to look like this??" Im thinking " oh gawd" and when they call my name, the coffee it's pretty dont get me wrong, but it's cold. Not lukewarm. Im barely over half into it and I dunno what I drank but I spit it out. There was about an inch to two inches of unmixed contents at the bottom of mud sludge. Not sure why it couldn't get mixed properly with some heat? I dunno what happened but I had high hopes for this place &they were dashed, completely. Sadly, it's back to Starbucks.... read more

I came in earlier this week and was disappointed that no one was wearing a mask. People hanging out in a small space with no air flow and no one working there was wearing a mask. Shame on the owners for not mandating the use of them. I understand that they're not comfortable, but the disposable surgical ones are more comfortable and more effective than cloth ones. Management should provide them. They're now pretty available and cost less than $2 a piece. It would be better if they just stayed closed and the employees could collect unemployment and stay safe. They'd probably make more than what I assume is a minimum wage job with the stimulus anyway. New COVID cases are up 25% for the last week. But hey, profits over people. I'm so glad I work for a company that bought me a mask, mandates the use of them, encourages outside pickup and online ordering, and limits the number of people in the building at one time. read more

My first drink was the Ginger Dream Breve Hot Cappuccino with almond milk. I enjoyed the punch of ginger with a light touch of maple syrup. However, I felt like there wasn't as much caffeine as I had hoped especially since it's coffee. It was a bit of a lack luster. My sister had also ordered a latte but it was sadly the same result for her. We wondered if it was just because it was late or if it depended on who was working. Second time around my sister had gotten the honey lavender tea latte. To her, it was amazing. But the sad part is that, it is a coffee shop. It should be more about the coffee and not the tea. She felt quite disappointed. My second drink was the Tiramisu Latte with almond milk. The ladyfinger biscuit dusted with cocoa powder was a nice touch. I was able to taste the tiramisu flavor all throughout the drink. It did have a bit more coffee-taste in comparison to my first drink. The workers are nice and easy to work with. They were kind enough to let me know the various types of milk available. The place was clean and well organized. Getting the drinks was quick. No problems in placing orders. Perhaps next time I may ask for a shot of espresso in my drinks to get a more caffeine kick in my drinks. read more

Cute place... wish we could have hung out but there was no dining in at this time. I walked into a super friendly face and she explained to me the menu and options I could have if I wanted to substitute things. I like the place but it took some time to get out order and we only had a mocha and 2 hot teas. They weren't busy so, that was surprising. Maybe I'll try it again if I'm in the area as they're nestled in the nice surrounding. Unfortunately, when I went it was when it was pouring rain (the only rainy weekend we have had thus far!) Mocha was great. It may have been too strong for me and my kids' teas were scolding... so, they couldn't drink it for a while. We should have asked them to add some cold water or something because those teas were super hot! read more

The coffee here is pretty dang good. I got this one latte which I really liked. It has cinnamon and a cool flower design which I've never seen anyone else do. The young lady who took my order was very friendly and made some great recommendations. The Nitro Old Fashion was also noteworthy. I don't think I liked it as much, but the idea was pretty cool. I'd maybe tweak it some more if I were in charge though. It needs a more Smokey flavor/dimension to the drink. As it is, it's missing something. It's a perfect place to do some work or catch up with a friend. They have a ton of seating inside and outside with different seating options, (a couch, different chairs, tables, etc). It was my first time to The Press today and it exceeded expectation. Not only was the cold brew delicious, but the staff was warm and friendly and service was fast! There were a couple people in front of me in line and the barista greeted me before I even walked through the door. I then watched as he listened intently to orders and began to expedite them before the order was even complete; they are a well-oiled machine. So sad that I have to write this review but this review is purely for the service and not the coffee or treats. I love the coffee and goodies but the cashier today was particularly very unfriendly and unapproachable. No one was in line except one family in front of me but as soon as they paid he stood there for a good 5 minutes staring off into space before asking me if I was ready to order even though he knew there was no one else but me in line. I asked him what one particular dessert was in the left corner and just the way he answered was so uninterested so unfriendly that it made me not want to buy anything anymore. I ended up buying only 1 desert for my son because he loves coming here for the banana bread. Just disappointed with the service tonight.
