The Kemble Inn has been one of the most enjoyable overnight stays I've ever had the pleasure of attending. The rooms are gorgeous, the hotel smart and elegant but most important the staff was beyond helpful & friendly. The bathtub is to die for and the amenities are outstanding. I think one can see I really enjoyed my stay. It's worth every penny. Also, the restaurant in the them building is exemplary. Seriously, if you want a fabulous night away from the town (I'm from the Boston area) take the time to come out and enjoy. As a wine enthusiast it was challenging to appreciate the fruit styles. Also tasted ciders and thought many of the ciders were on the bone dry & tart. All in all, it was fun and educational. The gift shop has lots of jams, fresh pies and many other items, plus the best ever cider donuts! Donuts alone are worth the trip!! The location is great as it is only 7 minutes away from Lee. Even better is that High Lawn Farm is 3 minutes away! Anyways if you keep your expectations in check the place is fine. Nothing to write home about but if you plan on being gone most of the time then it gets the job done.
