TV. Can stream HBO and Netflix - need to log into your own account for Netflix

Good place. Good location. Came here for a weekend in the Berkshires and I found the location to be convenient. The staff here were very nice. The decor is really nice. Everything was really clean. They had outlets and usb ports in each of the nightstands which was really useful. The fitness center is small, but standard for a hotel and clean. Our room had a microwave and a decent sized fridge. There's also a pool. The shower was a little weird. There's a half glass wall - no door to close it. The water got all over the floor. There was no way to keep that from happening since there was such a large opening. The bath mat didn't suffice either, we had to leave towels on the floor - it was soaked. The heat/ac unit - there's a wall thermostat, which controls a unit that's in 1 wall. There's no auto option to set a temperature and let it choose heat or AC. You had to choose 1 or the other. It was a little tricky to get the room temperature right. In the middle of the night it seemed to get very hot. The TV has Netflix, HBO, YouTube, Pandora integrated which was convenient. For Netflix you do need an account to sign in with. HBO didn't require an account. The room was overall pretty comfortable. However, the walls are really thin. We could hear so much walking upstairs it woke us up in the early in the morning. I was really surprised by that. We could also hear talking from a neighboring room in the bathroom. Because of the noise & shower issue, it's a 3 star instead of a 4. If I'm in the area again, I might stay here, but only if I could be on the top floor so to not hear any noise above that would disrupt sleep.

Beautiful hotel in the center of the Berkshires. The rooms are clean, modern, and spacious. Great location with plenty of good restaurants, cafes, and museums nearby. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made checking in an easy process. The hotel has great views of the mountains, plenty of amenities, and a Starbucks in the lobby.

    Lobby and Bistro seating area

Brand new Marriott Courtyard and a very nice one at that. Roomy, attractive lobby with lots of comfortable seating areas and nooks; this one also has the Bistro dining area -the breakfast I had there was well cooked and good coffee! The hotel also had a nice indoor pool and a decent exercise room with treadmills and ellipticals and a full set of dumbbells. The standard king bedroom that I stayed in was clean, with sleek contemporary furnishings; the bathroom was bright and had a large shower stall. The room comes kitted with a microwave and mini-fridge stowed away in a cubby near the desk. Overall, the room was quiet and very comfortable - my only quibble was that the air conditioner/heater was a little loud every time it kicked on. Though a little further from town that the Lenox/Pittsfield Hilton Garden Inn, this Courtyard definitely gives the HGI a run for its money!

    New Marriott!

This new Courtyard by Marriott is located in a central part of the Berkshires (close to downtown Lenox, Stockbridge, Lee, and Pittsfield) and still has that "new hotel smell", but it's got some kinks to work out. My wife and I decided to stay here for one night on a recent trip up to the Berkshires, and we chose this hotel because of the location, the price, and the fact that it was recently built (and because we are Marriott reward members). We chose a slight upgrade above the basic room to get some extra space for just a little extra cash. When we arrived and checked in, we loved the cozy feel of the lobby and the trendy furniture. We were given the key to our room and headed up to our floor, only to realize that we were the room next to the elevator. Since we didn't want to hear the elevator all night, we went back to the lobby and asked if we could get a room farther from the elevator, but we were told that all of the deluxe rooms are right next to the elevator. The staff member helping us was kind enough to downgrade us to a regular room and refund the difference. As it turns out, the regular room was actually quite large and more than enough space for the two of us. As with other Marriotts, the room was cozy and the bed super comfortable. Although the hotel is on a fairly major road, which we were facing, we didn't hear the street very much, which made for a good night's sleep. Although we didn't use them, you'll also find some standard amenities at the hotel, including an indoor pool, fitness center, business center and bar. The things we didn't quite like about the hotel: (1) many Marriott hotels at least have free coffee or tea in the lobby, but this one didn't offer anything more than tap water; (2) breakfast is only served until 10am, and that includes coffee; (3) again, those more expensive rooms are right next to the elevator, which I think is poor room placement. Nevertheless, this hotel serves as a great choice for an inexpensive and comfortable option in the Berkshires.

Very friendly at check-in and answered all my questions during my stay, always with a smile on her face. My room was beautiful. I chose room 25 (Vivian) on the 2nd floor of the main house. While it's a small room, it was cozy and quite lovely. I spent some quiet time writing at the desk, and later enjoyed the fireplace with a Duraflame log provided by the inn. They also provide a free bottle of wine, which was waiting for me in my room. The next morning, hot breakfast was waiting in the dining area downstairs. There were several options, which I appreciate having a choice. The pumpkin French toast casserole, seasoned potatoes, and bacon were superb. A great way to start the day! I loved my stay so much that I'm returning in January for another night!

From the warm welcome upon arrival--complete with a welcome drink, pastries, and brownies--to the impeccable service, every detail feels well thought out. We were a bit apprehensive when we heard about the new ownership, but thankfully, much of the charm remains intact. The bar now uses a Bartesian machine, which makes good cocktails, though I can see it becoming cumbersome if multiple guests arrive at once. Breakfast is always wonderful with a variety of entrées and sides. My only wish? That they bring back the specialty coffee machine--I miss those cappuccinos! Fortunately, their excellent selection of Harney & Sons teas helps make up for it. Already looking forward to our next visit!

First impressions make all the difference. After a long exhausting drive (no thanks to rush hour…read moretraffic) from NY downstate, we were greeted warmly by Matt, who not only acknowledged our hotel loyalty status, but also offered my kids cookies and water. I happened to have forgotten the kids toothbrushes, but he quickly retrieved replacements for me. We were quickly checked in, and after we settled into the room, he even gave us a courtesy call to let us know the wi-fi password! As someone who loves a good value (and a sucker for free breakfast, I like Hampton Inns because theres a standard level of service and attention that I can expect (24 hr access to free hot coffee/tea is a nice touch). Even if the nightly cost is slightly higher than their competitors down the road, I am willing to pay a bit more for great service, and that's exactly what we got. Our room was clean and exactly as advertised. No Microwave in the room, but they did have a mini-fridge. We had plenty of walking space between the furniture, areas to rest our belongings, and hang our clothes. They even had a nightlight in the room to boot (great for anyone with kids, elderly travelers, or poor night vision!). We were a traveling party of 2 adult + 2 kids, and this room was the perfect size for our needs. The Breakfast was a little *extra* with the fun banagrams too. Coffee was hot and refilled often! Never once saw any canisters empty, as the back end staff changed them out often. There was a microwave for guest to use, and I was able to quickly heat up our lunch for the day ahead. Hope to return again during ski-season!

BEWARE of this Hotel and its unprofessional, and downright cruel GENERAL MANAGER - LAURA RUMMEL!!!!…read more We had a terrible encounter here at this Hampton Inn with Laura Rummel, General Manager. I would steer clear of this hotel and go elsewhere if you are able to as she is unprofessional, rude and condescending. I have been a loyal Hampton Inn customer for decades and a DIAMOND HILTON member, and have never in my life had a negative interaction with any hotel personnel, particularly a General Manager! This is my first complaint, but I felt it was quite necessary to help others to avoid this abuse. My 5 year old daughter attempted to get a paper cup off of the counter during breakfast, and was scolded by Ms. Rummel and told no that she could not get a cup. My daughter came back crying hysterically. I approached Ms. Rummel and asked what she had said to my daughter since she was crying, and was told that she told her NO bc she was "messing up her teas." I looked over and saw 2 tea bags that were somewhat out of place. I asked my daughter to clarify what had happened, and she stated that she was trying to get the cup and the teas got caught on her sweater, so she was placing them back. I went back to discuss this misunderstanding with Ms. Rummel, who was adamant that my daughter was out to mess up the coveted teabags here. So, I asked her name and explained to her that I thought she was unkind for making my daughter cry, and that it was odd that she did not feel badly or even attempt to apologize for making a child cry. **She blatantly told me that SHE WAS NOT GOING TO APOLOGIZE, and that my daughter should not be messing up her teabags and that she should not have been unaccompanied (mind you - 6 ft from where we were eating breakfast in a clear vantage point of me). I informed her I would be making a complaint with Hampton and she told me she "DID NOT CARE, BECAUSE AS THE GENERAL MANAGER - ALL COMPLAINTS COME TO HER ANYWAYS." After I told her I would be calling corporate, she continued to double down on this statement multiple times that it didn't matter, since the complaints come to her.** So, BEWARE if you choose this hotel that clearly Ms. Rummel is an unhinged individual with a power complex, and will not care about your well-being, and, in fact, overtly try to to make you feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Save yourself some frustration and mental anguish and stay at another Hilton property, or at least until Ms. Rummel has been replaced.

The staff proved to be uniformly pleasant people, always helpful. The public spaces -- the dining areas and especially the recently refurbished parlor rooms which are stocked with drinks and hors d'oeuvres in the late afternoon -- are a genuine delight. So much is good here. But we have given the inn four stars not five because of the disappointing breakfasts. We were served very overcooked casseroles, overcooked scrambled eggs, grossly undercooked bacon and rather sad bits of yogurt. They really need some improvements here. That said -- and we know it requires us to be honest -- we would definitely look forward to returning with fingers crossed for some improvements in the breakfasts. And yes, 33 Main is on the pricey side, but it's high season for Tanglewood -- a very short drive away -- and given the quality here we think it's well worth considering a splurge.

Friendly, professional, smart and charismatic, we are taking about a top talent in a tough industry. The Inm is beautiful, well appointed and located in a prime location. Park your car and walk everywhere, including Tanglewood if you are so inclined (30 minutes each way). The standard rooms are TINY, but the grounds, lobby, fire pit and front porch give you no reason to be in iyour room other than sleep or shower. Speaking of which, you will laugh out loud when you see how small the bathrooms are in the regular rooms. The bathroom photos on their website are not the bathroom you will get in a standard king. You will get a phone booth with water. CONS Breakfast is a moon launch, get this poor girl some help. Put out a self serve pot of coffee with to go cups for early risers and leave it out all morning. She will love this idea, trust me. Eggs and toast were ice cold when they finally arrived, so we skipped breakfast the next morning as she was buried yet again. The bar was completely overwhelmed both nights with a large wedding and made it near impossible for anyone else to get a drink. We are talking 20 minutes due to the complexity of their cocktail program. Like everyone else, he was very hospitable, but cannot handle the bar stools, plus all of the dining room and outside cocktails on his own. Get him some help. The Inn would also benefit from an ice water station, especially on these scorching hot days. Your bartender and servers will also thank you. Lastly and the real reason for dropping a star is that we were checked into a dirty room at 3:30pm. At 600.00 per night, this is a fatal flaw and should have never happened. Never.

The room was impeccably cleaned and staff were attentive to needs that came up during the visit. They came up with a table, offered us options for chairs, had all of the food wrapped in plastic and covered in warming lids, but done in a way that did not interfere with even the delicate plating details. The portions were substantial and food quality was outstanding. They even provided gluten-free options that went above and beyond to accommodate an allergy. I called the desk to ask about this & was told this was a new thing they were offering ! We ate dinner in town that evening.. I could go on & on with our crimes & misdemeanors. I spoke to this TIGHT A.S JERK when we were checking out . I asked if the General Manger was available. He has a total passive aggressive personality. I expressed my disappointment about the weekend.
