Overall we had a good experience here. We had a large party, and our server was very nice but the food was poorly timed so half the group finished their meals before the other half got theirs. The ambiance was cute for a group of girls and bottomless brunch, but the food itself was just so-so in our opinion. Lots of options on the menu though, and the mimosas were delicious. Would still return for the vibes, but not for a great meal.

I've been here twice so far. The Blueberry margarita and a boozy salted caramel latte were amazing!. Red white and blue waffles filled with fresh and delicious strawberries, blueberries and bananas drizzled with white chocolate . Crispy buffalo chicken wrap with melted cheese. The service was excellent and the waiters/waitress were VERY attentive. I didn't have to ask for anything. We made another reservation for my sister's 23rd birthday. Everything was as expected. However, the wait time in between food coming out, then the wait for a dessert milkshake exceeded 15 minutes. Easy ordering though QR menu.

I went for my friend's birthday party. Ar the party table, we had excellent service from Ricky. I also interacted with Hailey who was so sweet and helped me with the WiFi. The food was delicious and there were some very interesting presentations. I would definitely come here again!

The service was nice but the restaurant was very dirty and the food tasted mushy and undercooked. Would not come here again. I'm not sure what happened. Either new management or Covid turned it upside down but I came here a few years ago and it was way different in a good way compared to now.

Let me start off by saying I really wanted this place to be great, I've been here several times I usually stop here on a road trip at this location and the other chains but this one was by far the best. I just visited this past weekend and for some reason the line that usually wraps around the corner was sparse, and it looked a little slower than usual. The waitress we had was very new, we were letting her know things that was on the menu and she had no idea. She was not very attentive and would be off in the corner just chatting it up with co-workers or scrolling on her phone. As I'm sitting there in reading other reviews and I'm like wow this place is sinking fast, then the food comes and guess who came to the dinner table... a ROACH! I'm like wtf and we try not to trip so I get the waitress, she moves us, I tell her I can not eat my food as it went to my plate but we calmly moved to the bar away from the table area as we hoped it was more safe, finished our drinks and apps. The manager comes over and apologized, then told us how clean the place was (even though most people know when you see one roach there's more to follow). The waitress brings the bill pay machine but doesn't give us the check just says the amount so I'm like, ok that's strange, can we get a print out of the check. So she does and charges us for all the food, even the food I didn't eat, so I point it out to the manager who took off the. Idk maybe it's just me but the service was extremely poor, like I don't care poor. The manager did seem very nice and to her credit gave us a drink to go to try to make up for it. I really used to like this place, it's clearly not the place 2 be. Oh and the decor is great

What I was served, no sour cream and a very small dollop of guacamole.

The place NOT to be. It seemed the restaurant was understaffed when I came in around 11:15 AM as there were only two people working the tables. The first thing that was wrong is I ordered coffee but they did not explain to me. They serve Americano's, which I would be fine with if they had told me that was the only option available. The next issue is that I ordered the California quesadilla and was instead served the California omelette and just for future reference you get a LOT more food ordering the omelette instead of a quesadilla!! Both of which were extremely dry and with the cheap cutlery they use was difficult to cut. In addition to that, I told them I was willing to eat the omelette because I was so hungry, but they insisted on taking it back to give me the quesadilla which I told them, no, I was hungry! The third issue was that I had to ask for sour cream (super tiny amount they gave) and when you compare the picture included to the one in their online menu, it looks nothing alike and you also see that they put an over abundance of oregano flakes on my food, which was overwhelming. Fourth issue no one ever came to check on me to see if I wanted more coffee or sour cream or if everything came out right. Fifth issue the restaurant was super cold inside and the majority of people were wearing their jackets until I asked they turn the heat up. The conclusion is that I will never eat at that place ever again nor would I recommend it except to stay away from it!

    Excited to try this!

This spot is very picturesque and social media picture worthy! The service was great but the food was just meh. I went here with a large party for brunch because they had all you can drink mimosas. The ordering was very confusing and it wasn't until one of the servers explained it that we understood... Kind of... I tried the Cereal Milk Latte with really didn't taste like anything. I ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte and somehow ended up with Captain Crunch. It was also very annoyed to drink since it had caramel everywhere and it was sort of attached to the tray by frosting. I also ordered the breakfast burrito with veggies. It was alright. Very basic flavoring and no spice. Definitely something I could have made at home with more flavor. The potatoes were amazing though!! So good! Lastly, I had the mimosas. They seemed very watered down. I had the mango and blue raspberry. Surprisingly, the blue raspberry was better than the mango mimosa! It was cool as an experience and for pictures but I don't recommend it for the food.

    Egg Burrito

The overall quality of the food at this restaurant was good. I ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich and my wife ordered the egg breakfast burrito. Our server was excellent and was serving a large group of us (8 people). He remembered our orders correctly and was able to get all of our requests correctly. We additionally ordered "bottomless" mimosas. My biggest issue was that they only served us three mimosas before they pretty much declined to provide any more. Valued at $20 per "bottomless" order I expected a little better service from the business itself. We were seated outside and the atmosphere was pleasant. The staff was friendly overall, I just do not appreciate advertising something as bottomless then limiting the amount of the item.

The interior was VERY instagrammable. The seating, especially the egg chairs, were not clean. The bathroom had a large amount of "water" near the toilet. The toilet paper was sitting on the toilet back instead of being in the toilet roll holder. There were no toilet seat covers. The hand dryer was so strong that it blows water into your face. My companion got a bottomless (served every 20 minutes with a max stay if 90 minutes) drink. The waiter was no where to be seen when the 20 minutes was up. The rosemary potatoes were the star of the show! The omelette was mediocre; it didn't taste as expected. The grilled cheese was made with 3 pieces of bread & 2 different cheeses. It was delicious. The steak came out well done instead of "with a little pink". 20 minutes later, it came out cooked almost correctly. The waiter was inattentive. Even when we put the sign up signaling we needed the waiter, we still had to call him over. I was going to give it 3 stars but it dropped to one because a drink was served in a Glass with lipstick mark on on it.

    Bday brunch 2023

I can't possible give enough stars for the WoNdErFuL treatment we received today for hubby's bday brunch! Assistant manager EMMA & fabulous staffer ALEX were both over the top helpful, hands-on, friendly & kind. Food choices are unique, plentiful, GorgEoUs & instagrammably remarkable! Most importantly they amped up the FUN factor! I promise to finish the review once I sober up!... Okay, now this really IS the place 2 B! With SO many great places to choose from in this area, how could I pick?? Well, looks like I'm not in the minority today...Many birthdays are being celebrated here right now! The cool staffers came by after our very substantial & stellar "works of art" meals & served the hubby the most AmAziNg decorative spiked shake with their cute mini duckie signature mascot, all while singing the cool (my fave) fifty cent bday song. It topped off our hours there with literal a happy note! They accommodated our large party SO well and were right there every time to anticipate any needs. Terrific service with a smile. We totally fell in LVE with it! Highly recommend a birthday, friends get together, or ANY celebratory occasion. Message me, I'll give you the lowdown. You can't go wrong at this gorgeous location in posh blueback square, WeHa. Check it out, you can thank me later! Happy healthy yelping!

Coffee was good. But that's it. Service was slow. Food was not great. People just go for the vibes and pictures. Not for the actual food. Won't go again.

I'd say find another place to be unless you have hours to kill. Watered down drinks, mid food and while our server was nice, very chill - too chill. Find someplace else to drop your money.

Entry to The Place 2 Be - quite a dirty rug, right?
    Marjorie P.

I was so excited to try out The Place To Be today. Weekday, 11am. So based on how crowded/popular it is, thought we'd have a reasonably good chance of getting in. And yes -there were folks there, and a table was available. So that was good. However - 1st impressions are important, right? In real estate, they always talk about curb appeal. So walking into the foyer, imagine my disappointment on seeing a very dirty rug, and a pretty worn out area greeting us. And it was only 11am - so even with a medium amount of customers, a place that is supposed to be hip/the place to be, should not have been that dirty (it was a bright, sunny day too - so no excuse to have that much dirt tracked in). To be fair, we didn't eat there - perhaps after having the food, I'd give at least 4 or 5 stars. The drinks going by looked amazing. But after sitting down, negotiating the menu on our phone ( wasn't difficult with bar code), and being told to both order from 1 phone if we wanted 1 check, we kept thinking about that dirty rug & wondering how clean the kitchens were... So - maybe I'll be back, or maybe I won't. Jury is still out on that.

New Year's Eve dinners/New Year's day brunch specials, in my experiences, have always been a cash grab by restaurants where you would get a decent meal but always leave hungry or the opposite where the price was super extravagant yet food was mediocre at best. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE!!! Food was amazing. Chicken was spiced and fried to perfection. Crunchy without being greasy. I refuse to eat fried chicken in public yet almost human eating this with people around. Juicy meat, 4 piece of half breast, wing, thigh and drummy all meaty. Sides of picked pepper mac&cheese and Cole slaw. My wife tore into that coleslaw like her life depended on it and was everything she's been looking for in a slaw Breakfast burrito was packed full of goodness, substantial. Side of potatoes which could've been a meal in of itself. $19 and well worth it. Brought half home for breakfast the next day. All in all, not only was their value in the prices offered throughout the menu, the food is incredible. Service was amazing. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, good eye for when we needed something without us having to ask. Perfect start to the new year and aching to come back for dinner. It was worth staying home NYE and falling asleep early in order to be fresh and ready for this dining experience.

The place looked spacious and with a lot of light, it looked clean and they seemed to have a nice selection of wines (for those that like it) , they were displayed for people to see, which I thought looked very nice. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and I found it odd that there was only 1 restroom for the size of the restaurant. Our waiter was nice, he took our order and we were excited. The food took a VERY long time, we were starving, and we had kids with us so that wasn't good. Some of our orders were wrong and so unfortunately we had to wait even longer for the right meal. We didn't order alcohol but we did older a couple of mocktails. I was SUPER excited for them because that's something I always appreciate at a restaurant. I'm sad to say that they were AWFUL!! straight up syrup, not bubbly (some were supposed to have soda in them) not sweet, simply not enjoyable at all, I ended up switching it for a simple club soda, I figured it was a safe bet. When my food came out, it was ok, I had the avocado toast, and it was forgettable, my sister had the chicken and waffles and now THAT was the meal to get, it was large in portion and that chicken was beyond tasty!! My other sister has the lomito sandwich with the chips and it was good, something missing but she enjoyed it. The rest of the food were burgers and they were ok, the kids had burgers and Mac and cheese and they were not tasty according to the children's disinterest in barely touching their food (and they love cheeseburgers). I'm always willing to bypass certain things as long as customer service delivers BUT unfortunately they fell short. We were celebrating an engagement and so we were all very happy and in a great mood, when suddenly workers around us were cleaning up the neighboring tables, and even sweeping very close to us. We thought the place was possibly closing? (Even though it was only 2:15pm). I asked if they were closing and they said that they close the restaurant from 3-4 so their employees can go eat .... I'm not against giving them a break BUT, it really felt like they were kicking us out, we felt pressured to eat fast and wrap it up, not a good feeling, when you are in the zone of happiness. It was our first time there so, I would have appreciated if they would have informed us that the restaurant takes a little break in between and then we would have decided if we wanted to stay or go elsewhere. They did bring a little dessert and 2 mocktails for the newly engaged which was nice, I'll give them that. Overall, I don't think the food and experience was worth me coming back or recommending this place, I'm sure there's other much better places.
