I don't know what happened when I was there on Saturday but it was horrible. All the way from the service to the food. My food might have been amazing if I would have gotten it hot or even warm. I saw what looked to be like management on there phone laughing and fooling around with staff? But my food is cold? And this place isn't cheap. The last few times I was in it seemed like they were getting better. NOPE Mellow you have gained another customer. read more

Fantastic pizza. It's a deceptive place from outside. I thought it would be a small place it's really big. Due to COVID 19 they have a limited menu. But it's really delicious. We chose to make our own pie. You can ask for think crust for medium and big pies. They have traditional pizza oven. Way to go. Service was impeccable. Since now we are in Martinez I expect this to be per new joint. Plus they welcome furry friends on the patio. Brownie points for that. read more

Love their food and service isn't bad either. Good place for lunch or dinner with family and friends.

Pizza is steadily declining in quality more of fewer toppings lower quality ingredients and crust changed Sad used to be one of the better places Still good place to meet friends have cold beer or come for trivia night or a awesome Greek salad but pizza... Eh not so much read more

Ordered pizza. 45 minute ready time relayed. Okay must have been busy. Done 1-hour late. Really. No sorry, Nothing

First impression....old and dirty. If I need to wipe off my chair before sitting in it, there's a problem, especially with all of this Covid business going on and everything is supposed to be cleaned between guests. Not the case here. After having a horrible experience at the downtown location, we decided to compare to this location. A smidge better. Ordered the Big Mike...still missing some ingredients but not as bad as the downtown location. If they happened to change up their ingredients, they should update the menu. No point in ordering an appetizer, it comes out the same time as your food. Not only did it happen to us, we saw it happen at two other tables. It's called an appetizer for a reason people! My son was happy with his meatball sub, the only reason they get two stars. This company in general, so it seems, has gone downhill with quality and service, equally. I would not recommend to anyone. I highly suggest skipping PJ and head straight to Mellow Mushroom!!!!! read more

It was a choice between my all time favorite Mexican food or something a bit more chill and relaxed like Pizza Joint in Evans (and not go downtown) I'm glad I came to this location. Nothing fancy, didn't spend tax money, just wanted to enjoy a good rainy day off with my favorite foodie partner. Our waitress was Francana (France and Ana without the 'E' . She was awesome! I also met Ian! Ian wasn't waiting our table but I noticed the kind and hardworking spirit that was there. I made it a point to let Ian know that I really felt the need to meet this wonderful person and I'm glad I did! Francana told us about the beer samples, the difference between Howlers and Growlers that are offered there. My friend and I splurged a bit and had a GREAT time for about $56! I haven't been here since St Patrick's day of 2019...what kept me away for so long???!!! Definitely let Francana and/or Ian take care of your dining experience here! read more

Love it. I think it's the best pizza in Evans. Better than M.M. and it holds up to carry out - which so far, M.M. can't

The first time we went there, it was good. The drinks were awesome and the Pizza was good. We have gone back twice since then, the last being this evening. The salad was tasteless, my Margarita had more salt than Tequela, and the Pizza was awful. The crust was thin in one place and thick in another. No taste, just flat. We ordered sausage and fresh basil, we got very little sausage and the basil was baked in to the Pizza. Needless to say, a very disappointing evening. We had to ask for clean silverware 3 times. There was dried on food on the knives. I doubt that we will go back any time soon. read more

Been here a few times. The pizza is always fresh and delicious. Have tried a couple of calzones and they are packed with ingredients. A stop here will not leave you unsatisfied. A good place to sit with friends and watch sports on the various large TV's. read more

Pizza Joint Evans - Came here after watching a movie nearby. Staff was friendly and the food came out fast and was delicious. - Pizza Near Me - Evans, Georgia

Friendly enough staff, a little slow to taking orders and getting food out but once food is delivered you don't think of any of that. Absolutely delicious I could eat a pie to myself. I love how large and thin their slices are. The ingredients seem fresh and made to order. The garlic bread appetizer with cheese added was banging and my sausage slice, alone with my pepperoni was on point. As writing the review my mouth is watering and I'm craving this delightful place. The ambiance is casual and laid back and the music wasn't bad. They offer places to sit inside and out and both Evans location and downtown are trendy. I found it affordable; you get bang for your buck! I must eat place in the Augusta and surrounding areas! read more

I frequent PJ's whenever i can. The bartenders, staff, and management always take care of me and my fam. Ive never had a bad experience. These guys do for me what i wish all would do.. That is get me a beer and a slice. If you want "fine dining" go where that is expected. Everyone at PJ's from kitchen to front take pride in their craft. Thanks guys! Try the Devito or the Mike. read more

Have loved this place for years but their efforts to update it have resulted in slower food delivery and overall worse customer service. The bar staff is always great but ended up sending my slice back due to it having the consistency of a light truck tire. They rolled out a beer club program a year or so ago but recently changed the rules on how you can use it. It's a good place to drink and watch a game but that's about it. read more

This local pizza place was deliciously surprising. Their pizza was perfect, I ordered the carnivore minus some ingredients and the the Big One and I couldn't stop eating after one slice. The dough balls need some work they were basically dinner rolls, but other than that this place is great even down to their marinara sauce, it wasn't watered down and the taste was rich and tomato-y which was a nice change from other pizza places. Great pizza place!!!!! read more

DO NOT eat here if a feminine looking manager named mike is in duty. If there's a problem he will not make it right. I ate there tonight with my kids and another couple, my check was 135 and my friends was 130. my detroit pizza was so salty I couldn't eat it. I told the waitress who got the manager and he proceeded to tell me how they make their pizzas instead of trying to satify a custome. He didn't offer another pizza. He didn't offer a refund or partial refund on the pizza. NOTHING. They have lost a customer for life. Pizza joint you may want to make this guy a dishwasher or something, He doesn't need to be in charge that's for sure read more

Horrible service. Food was burned. Waitress was extremely dismissive and rude. Stop blaming Covid. Don't open if you can't handle it. Complained about experience to management, was equally dismissive. I'm just glad Your Pie is now in Evans. They don't use Covid as an excuse to be rude to customers. Hope this accurate review on the quality of people they have on staff helps deciding on not to ever visit this place. read more

Had intentions of eating here tonight but was not able to. They have seating inside and outside and my party requested indoor seating. We were told they couldn't give us an estimation on wait time because most of the tables had just been seated.. Understandable. Put my name and number on a list to be contacted when seating was available, verified it was the correct number... Was never contacted; didn't get to eat pizza joint tonight. Still, 4 hours later, was never contacted. Very unprofessional. read more

Pizza Joint Evans - 52 taps, check! - Pizza Near Me - Evans, Georgia

This place is amazing! Not only is it the best place in town for pizza, but one of the best places for pizza I've been to. Their specialty pizzas (our favorites are Chicken Diane and Jimmy Pesto) are incredible but honestly even the plain cheese pizza is pretty great. Contrary to some of the negative reviews, I have never dealt with food coming out cold. My wife and I have probably come here half a dozen times in the last three months with no issues. And don't even get me started on the amazing craft beer list. Easily the most extensive in Augusta/Evans and the majority of their taps rotate to include new or seasonal beers, which always end up being fantastic. The atmosphere is nothing crazy, but we do like the open floor plan. It makes you feel less confined. We have had some minor hiccups and delays with service, but nothing terrible and usually it's just because the space is fairly large and open, so depending on your seat, the waiter/waitress might miss you at first glance. Not a huge deal. This place has been a staple of mine and my wife's since we moved to Evans and even when we lived in Grovetown; nothing but good things to say about you Pizza Joint! read more

Got our order wrong Twice. Ordered The Big One substitute garlic and extra sauce for beef rec'd a carnivore. They took it back and finally after an hour, total being in the restaurant, we rec'd The Big One NO extra sauce NO garlic. At least they got the thin crust correct. Pretty flavorless pizza about the only flavor was the onion and green pepper. Hint your sauce (if it had enough on it) should have flavor under the cheese and ingredients. We won't be back. read more

Note: I haven't personally eaten here. Just an experience with the staff over the phone. My family chose this as the restaurant to celebrate my sister's birthday today. Since I couldn't be there, I called to arrange to have a drink sent to her. Due to some legal technicalities (me trying to do this from out of state), I wasn't able to but the manager was so sweet and helpful, said he'd figure something out, tracked their table down and did exactly that. Thank you so much for the awesome customer service :) read more

I called to place an order at 5:15 and they told me it would be 30-35 minutes to pick up. I went to pick it up and was told it hadn't even been started yet. I said, "so you guys forgot?!" The lady said, "No, the printer paper where it prints out for the chefs fell underneath the printer. They didn't see it. They're making it right now for you." I had been to this location only 2 other times and they were bad experiences. This was the last straw. Never go here... read more

Food is great. The dough, the style. It's not boring by any means. The beers on tap never disappoints with rotating seasonal taps and some that are always in stock. Service is terrible. ...I'm writing this while waiting on a sandwich. I suck at writing, I edit a lot and typing on my phone is hard with these giant thumbs, so it takes awhile - kitchen and staff. I am in the restaurant at a non-rush point but I have been in when it's busy and the staff is just as lazy. read more

If you're looking for real made from scratch pizza, a huge on-tap beer selection (56), laid back and friendly servers and bar staff then Evans Pizza Joint is the place to go. Pizza inside is so much better than pick up. We got pick up and it was mediocre at best. Not worth what we paid.

Buyer beware, I ordered a few food items and post order they indicated its no longer on the menu (after I asked) and up charged me $3 dollars a sandwich and called it something other than what I order. I questioned the ethics and was told that is what we do. This place can't seem to find competent managers read more

Nothing too good about this place. My wife and I wanted some pizza and heard good things about here. The garlic knots weren't too bad, maybe a little above average. This place is such a mixed bag so much so that every time I come here it's a different experience. They have been improving as the last couple times the pizza has been almost exactly what I ordered where it used to be you would get an entirely wrong pizza. The sizes used to fluctuate but have recently standardized and the crust has been the same the last couple of orders. The most recent order was a carry out and it was sparse on the toppings which happens occasionally here. The crust was ok and the sauce was consistent to the last couple orders. It was properly cooked this time which had been a problem in the past. If it continues to be consistent and they get the topping amount consistent and distribution even on a 28$ 3 topping large pizza (before tip) I will increase the stars. read more

Extremely disappointed. Our waiter was great but everything I tried to order they were out of. Ordered wings for an app and a buffalo wrap for an entree. They were out of both and also out of fries. Also ordered a Greek salad and it came with ranch. Waiter said it has never had Greek dressing. I've ordered this before and it has 100% come with greek dressing. This is what pizza tastes like fresh! Only thin crust, with locally sourced ingredients and everything fresh! Yes, it's casual and noisy and Sportsbarish, ( a dozen large screens ) but families still show up for dinner. Patio is west facing so it's too hot for me till well after sunset, but pet friendly. Wait staff is so nice, young and attractive. Even though place was busy and full we got quick service. Manager even checked on us and others personally. Music is "dated", but Boomers will appreciate that. Good 19th Hole for making good on your bets!! read more

Pizza is great, bruschetta and salads are great, good beer selection, but don't recommend the garlic bread-the same price as fried pickles, bruschetta, and other great apps, but tastes bland and boring. Our waiter on our first visit was great, but our waitress last night was slow and rude...as someone who has worked as a waitress, I never would have been so short with my patrons. Update: we returned last night with some friends. We asked for two checks, and as we each ordered individual slices and salads, this wasn't an issue. We also each had separate coupons we had received in the mail and each of us wanted to use our individual coupon on our separate order. We were told we could only use one of the coupons, even though we were paying separately, which didn't make sense at all. read more
