PIzza was ok, it was missing the "Italian" flavor of pizza. Although I am more of a DEEP DISH pizza kinda lady, this was ok to eat.

Preordered 8 large pizzas this morning at 11:00 am and requested them to be delivered between 5:30pm-6:00pm. Paid in advance as well a $25.00 tip for delivery. At 6:00pm I decided to call and inquire as to when I could expect delivery. Employee was able to pull up order and asked for me to hold. I was left on hold for over an hour and a half, with them periodically taking me off hold and immediately putting me on hold again, without even acknowledging me. My stepmother was able to finally speak to someone who stated their system went down and missed the order but to expect delivery in 30 minutes around 7:45pm. At 8:30pm, still no delivery. When she contacted them, she was told, the pizzas weren't going to be delivered. Our experience with Marcos today was an absolute nightmare... We ended up getting Chick-fil-A, who's absolute perfection, when it comes to customer service. read more

Worst customer service I've seen from any restaurant around this area. Our food was delivered without the simplest of things that we paid for, ranch and garlic sauce. I called to ask them to send it, and the girl that answered said it would be a long time before it got there, so when I asked if I'm now supposed to eat cold wings by the time ranch got here, her response was "I guess so". Talked to a manager about it, his response "well I just got here" and didn't take ownership of his employees incomplete job. We'll never order from Marco's again. Not bad location. The only downside so far is paying with card. Twice I tried to pay with the same card and I made sure I had plenty of money on it before ordering so I walked to the nearby store and took out some cash instead. The cheezybread was delicious and hot. Great food. read more

Let me tell you something about Marco's - they put their entire FOOT in this pizza! We ordered delivery and it came right on time. Shout out to our delivery person! My wife ordered a steak, banana pepper, ground beef and chicken pizza (she's got unique taste) and I have never wanted to try her concoctions until this. The steak was cooked to PERFECTION. Perfectly seasoned and still piping hot. We also got a Hawaiian, pep and cheese which all were delicious and still hot. I chose this Marco's location due to a promotion at an apartment complex I moved into recently. 50% off your entire order sounded like a steal to me, so I called up and placed my order. I received a large "works" pizza ($19) An order of cheese sticks ($6) The pizza and cheese sticks were both standard, good quality, and for a chain pizza place, it's probably one of the better locations when stacking them up to the likes of Pizza Hut, papa johns, etc. Customer service was great because when I asked how their wings were, they told me they'd include one wing each that they serve for free to help me decide for myself if I thought their wings were good. How cool is that? Oh, that deal? 50% off got me pizza, bread sticks and 3 wings for about 12 bucks. You can't beat that! Located off of Columbia road in Grovetown, This Marco's Pizza is next to a Food Lion grocery store, and has shared parking, making parking here pretty easy. This is mostly a take out place, although if you do want to dine in, there are a few tables to do so. We ordered pizza here recently as it's one of the few places that will deliver to us. We probably wouldn've been better off offering and picking it up ourselves. It took like an hour for them just to make the pizza and get ready to drive it over. When we received it our delivery driver was pretty nice. Super friendly service, and really great pizza. Better than any other chain I've had in the recent past. We walked in, and while they do have two tables for dining in, we did wait 20 minutes. This is not really a table service restaurant. You order at the register and then wait for your food to be ready. The pizza is great, but after waiting over an hour, I check the status of my delivery on yelp and I had around another 20 minutes before they got there, so I'm waiting and waiting, no sign of a delivery. I miraculously need to go out to my truck as it's raining and on my way back through the door I see the pizza box with the pizza in it sitting on my front porch chair! Like wth! No knock, No text, No indication that they delivered it let alone ring a doorbell. The pizza was barely warm, and I have no idea how long it sat there. I mean, what kinda delivery service just throws your order on the porch without notifying you?? Like dang man, are there any decent people out there anymore??! Sadly Marcos is dealing with sorry inconsiderate people but I will vouch for their product, they have great pizza, but now just because someone doesn't do there job properly or have the simple thought of knocking or ringing the doorbell, Marcos gets this terrible review because of the people they employ. We've passed this place several times and went on a whim tonight and tried it out. There are a few tables for waiting inside, but it is take-out only. There is a drive-thru, as well. A fantastic restaurant with one of a kind customer service. Unlike other pizza places, Marco's ensures that the customer's order is alway hot and fresh upon arrival. The staff works very diligently to provide an experience unlike any other restaurant in the area. The people up front are kind and apologetic when something isn't up to Marco's standards. We've been looking for a good pizza delivery in the area other than the usual big names. Marco's tastes good and has some pretty sweet deals on their pizzas! Our neighborhood is pretty new, so the online ordering says our area isn't covered, so if this happens to you, just call them and they more than likely actually do cover your area! Even when they messed up my order on a busy night they were quick to remake and deliver in less time than they thought and very apologetic. On March 4, I called in to order a thin pizza with sausage, cheese, onion, green pepper for delivery. I received a call from someone in the subdivision stated they just received a pizza that they did not order. I called Marco's back to let them know it was delivered to someone else. They state it will take at least 20 minutes. When they finally delivered the pizza it was a not what I ordered. What happen the customer service reviewing the order and address. The manager did offer to issue credit on the next order, I explained that I don't live in Grovetown. I called back on Monday, March 6 to see if they could issue credit to the card. The representative stated that they can't since they closed out Saturday work. If they can take your credit card number to pay for the pizza what is the problem taking the same number to issue the credit. read more

This pizza was delicious! We just moved here, and we love to try out the local pizza joints to see which are better than the chains. We had a Florentine, and subbed bacon for the onions and added the garlic butter crust. Some of the best pizza I've had in a while and we'll definitely eat here again.
