Sausage, pepperoni, olives, and garlic on a nice big pizza

A friend recommended we try Roma's out because we'd been to another more authentic type of pizza restaurant in the area that is more expensive so we decided to give this a shot. We went on a Friday when they opened right at 4pm because that's a wild Friday "night" for those of us with a baby! There were already people there too so we knew that was a good sign and we weren't the only ones wanting early dinner (though nobody else had a baby). The vibes are good, it's a classic looking Italian sit down restaurant with some kitschy decor but it wasn't bad. We ordered pretty quickly and got our wine and were offered some garlic knots (so yummy!) while we waited for the pizza. We chose our own toppings rather than a preset pizza and it was delicious! I can't remember the exact inch measurement of the pizza but it was the larger option and it was more than enough for two adults. We took home a couple slices each and enjoyed it the next day. Our server was excellent, really attentive and kept an eye on waters and garlic knot refills. Overall it was a really pleasant experience and I will definitely be back for more soon!

At best a 2 for quality of food and service. This place survives off of the captive audience of WOODSIDE. Food is bland. Sauce is canned...good canned tomatoes, canned. The sauce is not altered from the can. No Italian garlic or love here. Ordered the mussels with red sauce as an appetizer...mussels and sauce did not get cooked together and therefor no depth of flavor. Sauce on mussels is the same salty sauce on everything else (including calzone & assume pizza). Mussels were seemingly microwaved, although chef & owner disagreed (there was an obvious language barrier). Cold and hot at same time as only capable in a microwave. Sorry to say, we sent them back. 30-min later, we aren't feeling great... We both got house salads...apathetically only iceberg with 2 quarter tomatoes, 2 olives, and some pickled banana pepper slices. Balsamic dressing was just oil & dried herbs, but didn't have any balsamic. Best thing on menu...not microwaved. Then we grabbed a 100% vegetarian calzone and eggplant parm. First calzone was filled with pepperoni....Calzone was underdone, no sauce inside, with cold unmelted cheese and uncooked veggies. Sent it back. The egg parm was last straw...frozen, reheated (partially), and cheese melted under heat lamps. Sent it back. We tried to talk to the management in an inconspicuous manner, however the owners (front of house & chef) played a game regarding English as a second language & comprehension. Chef came out of kitchen and was confrontational about food. We paid for the wine, but left unable to eat our meals (and still hungry). We won't be back and wouldn't recommend to to others. Would suggest loosing the microwave & cooking entree to order vs obvious prep before the dinner service.

Roma & it owner, Pat provide traditional Italian fare in addition to excellent pizza. I have been served Veal Parmigiano plus had pizza here before. Their salads are fresh & crisp. The sauce (gravy) is pure Italian & rivals restaurants in NYC little Italy. This visit I'm having the spaghetti & meatballs I've been craving for a couple of days. I came after 5 on a Sat. & it's packed. I'm eating at bar. The meal met all my expectations. I added a piece of fresh made cream cheese & it was delicious. Helen was my very pleasant wait person.

This is the mozzarella caprese I ordered. Straight into the garbage.

Owner has a horrible attitude, the food was mediocre at best, and the restaurant was quite dirty.

People complain about it being too soggy, undercooked, or lacking toppings--absolute nonsense. This is a perfectly authentic Italian pizza. If you know good food, you know this is the kind of quality you usually only find in top-tier restaurants in major cities like LA or NY, or back in Italy itself. It is absolutely worth every penny. Sure, you can go to a chain and pay half the price, but you're just paying for unrisen dough, low-quality ingredients, and zero wood-fired aroma. To top it all off, our waitress was great and the pizzas came out incredibly fast, even with the place being packed. This is the real deal. And no, they didn't pay me for this review LOL

We had one order in mind until we spotted the lunch specials and went for that - it is a really good deal. Two slices of pizza and a small salad for 10$. What we didn't know if that the two pieces of pizza were ginormous! We could have easily done the one piece w/salad, but as it happened, we had dinner with the leftovers. The pizza is quite good, thin crust got nicely crispy and super flavorful. The pepperoni was good - not cup char good but pretty darn good. The small caesar was good - it was perfectly dressed so we kind of wondered why there was extra dressing on the side - but no big deal. We sat outside, and our server was fabulous - attentive without being overly so. It was quite a mellow lunch (pun intended!)

We ordered water and a beer. It took about 20 minutes for them to bring it out. I ordered 10 garlic parm wings. When they came out, they were room temp. The sauce tasted like ranch with a little garlic added then sprinkles of parm put on top. I will not order them again. Best part of the meal was the band that was playing in the alley. The best thing may be salad or pizza because they can both be eaten cold.

Our kids first time there and we were SO EXCITED! First off, they lost their liquor license. Not a big deal, just means beer or wine. Would not have even cared. Second, we looked at the menu for almost 15 minutes because our server was awful (in a restaurant with 15 tables and three servers). And had made up our minds. She arrives and begins with, "hello, would you like flat water or sparkling water?" - verbatim. We say, flat, thanks. Comes back with that in a refillable open bottle (important) and we are ready to order. Son orders a pizza (this menu is only one page long with maybe 25 items, all encompassed). She says, "we only have pizzas in the winter". (Literally half the menu is pizzas) We order mussels app, same answer.... We finally figure out what 10 items on the menu are available and order four of them. Takes forever. Understandable for quality, but during this experience it feels annoying. Finally comes. Haven't seen our server since we ordered. Order more bread and more water from the food runner. Server checks on us with STACKED EMPTY PLATES and just walks away. Server finally visits and comes with bill and tries to just take my card and put it in mobile reader. I know this is odd but we are all becoming used to it so I try to be "cool". Ask to review receipt and we have been charged for two bottle of "still water" at $8 each. Revert to original greet, which was verbatim. No suggestion of tap water or no water choice; just still or sparkling. On top of terrible service for a $hit ton of money, I am not having it. Question server and she offers no solution. Suddenly Michael, who is an amazing chef and business owner - albeit arrogant a$$hole - comes storming out of the kitchen and tells me he teaches his servers to upsell!! Love that journey for any server, but this was NOT upsell, this was a scam.... He immediately writes my name on a post it note and tells me I am no longer allowed in his restaurant. So, there's that.
