Such a vibe! Me and friend went here on a whim due to seeing the name. Its called Pink squirrel so we had to come through. very good service. The bartender took care of us and the manager did a great job with talking to us and the customers as they walked in. The space itself has very good ambience, you could bring a variety of people here for events or dates or just to hang out.

Nice atmosphere but the drinks I got I did not like at all. I got a milkshake cocktail drink and it was not tasty

We had cocktails after dinner in December. It was decorated to the top with Christmas!! Such a super cute place more like a corner bar not a ton of seating. They had an event going on so a few of the tables were reserved. They make a super fun cocktail.

Hidden gem. Service is amazing, ambiance is on point and unique, and the trivia nights is a bonus if you want to nourish your brain cells along with your soul (with delicious drinks and boozy milkshakes).

This bar is super freaking cute. I just love all the bold pink decor that I spotted from a block away while I was still in my Uber. And who knew that inside was a parody theme of Mean Girls???!!! Dream come true! I had to embrace my inner mean girl - trust me, she is lurking in there just waiting to come out and write something in that burn book. And that I did! Haha. Won't tell you what me and my bestie wrote cuz don't wanna cause no drama lol. The drinks are really delicious. For starters, since my bestie was a little late, I ordered the Gimlet. It's a vodka drank and strong but good! Had to order some tamales from the guy that came around the bar with his cooler of tamales cuz I was getting a little toasty and needed some substance to soak up that alcohol. And yo, their alcoholic milkshake drinks are dangerously delicious. I had the banana/chocolate flavored one and I tried my hardest not to inhale that! Plus, how can you beat duckpin bowling? There were 2 lanes inside that were fully functional. Such a cute atmosphere. Perfect backdrops for selfies! And the music!!! They were playing hits from the 2000s that were totally my jam. If you haven't checked this place out yet on a Saturday night, you should definitely come by! The servers and bartenders were super attentive and very friendly. Always checked in on me and my little group. We had a great time!

Great place to have a boozy or non boozy milkshake. Very cute area with booths or barstools. Adult and kid friendly!

I went here yesterday (Friday) and had a great time. It was a very fun bar with two bowling lanes. My friends and I enjoyed the cocktail wheel which came with 8 total drinks- 4 cocktails, 2 of each, and each was 2oz. It was overpriced because of the spectacle, but it was fine for a one-time thing. The carousel actually spun and was lit up with fairy lights. We also ordered a regular milkshake and some boozy milkshakes which were delicious. We were able to sit and talk at a table while enjoying drinks, but there was also good music playing in the background. All staff members were very friendly but service was a bit slow despite the bar not being packed.

had the time of my life playing bowling here on a friday night for bachelorette party. cozy bar but immaculate vibes, trivia night was going on and the energy was great. we had just eaten so just got drinks (i got the last word which was incredible). we had both alleys reserved and it was fun entertainment- the balls would get stuck in the back but the staff was quick to help us out and get the balls out. would def go back!!

Came here on a last minute plan change after my friend recommended it! This place is so cute! I don't usually go out in Logan Square so I'm happy I got to try this spot. Me and my friend got there at 6 and it was kind if empty but shortly after, people started to pour in. This place is the perfect spot to grab drinks or try one of their specialty milkshakes! Ambience: Their ambience is fun and lively. Smaller than I was expecting on the inside with not much room to stand around. I would say limited seating. They have an area in the back for duckpin bowling which I think is awesome. The decor if the bar is cool! They have these cocktail ferris wheel things that I didn't get to try but I want to next time I stop by. Milkshakes: You have the option to make your shakes boozy or not. I opted for the cereal killer without alcohol. Prepare to induce diabetes! Its a vanilla shake with blended fruity pebbles and sprinkles topped with a generous amount of whipped cream and more sprinkles and fruity pebbles. The rim is lathered with frosting and fruity pebbles. AND its comes with a rice crispy and a chocolate covered sandwich cookie thing. Sugar galore!

First timer here!! I love the idea and the theme of this place. I think it's a great time forsure. I made a reservation to bowl on a Sunday and wanted to have a few fun drinks. The drinks were completely on point and LOVED them. I got an Oreo shake and the Millionare drink. SO GOOD. Bowling was fun until the balls CONSTANTLY were not coming back to us. The machine must be very old and we had to keep asking the bartenders to push the balls back. It got so bad that after each turn we had to call them. To reserve bowling it was $50. So it's not a bad pride but 50 is 50 and I wanted to enjoy my entire time reserved. I'm not sure if this is something that always happens but that isn't right. It definitely needs repairing or to be updated. There was a group playing next to us that left in the middle of their game because it was completely killing the vibe. Otherwise, it was a good time!

This place was SO cute! We caught it on it's last night all decorated as tinseltown for the holidays so it was a fun Christmasy vibe. When we walked in the staff immediately greeted us showed us to a table. All of the staff was extremely friendly and attentive the entire time we were there. My friend and I were in town visiting our friend that lives in Chicago. Our one friend made the mistake of saying she'd never had Malort before so of course the bartender rectified that for her! We each got a fun cocktail and enjoyed the atmosphere. We had considered reserving a bowling lane but we opted not to. Honestly we had a lot of fun just hanging out, chatting and people watching. I'd love to go back to The Pink Squirrel next time I'm in town so that I can try some other drinks and see what it looks like without all the holiday decor.

Perfect for a pregame with the girls or the end of a night out! I got the hummer boozy shake and it was delicious!! Staff super fun and you could tell they're having a good time.

Cookie decorating set up

We made reservations for the tinsel town cookie decorating. When we arrived we were met by a man who appeared to be very stressed and not friendly at all. We stated we had reservations for the event and were seated. The decorations in the place were AMAZING! The cookie decorating items and cookies were set up on the table. Unfortunately all but 6 cookies were broken. The server was great. As we decorated and socialized, I noted the same guy was greeting people at the door (and tending bar and ordering staff around) and increasingly appeared angry/annoyed with customers. A party had arrived late and the guy "yelled" at them and I felt it wasn't necessary. It seemed odd and uncomfortable for customers and staff. We ordered ice cream drinks and waited approximately 30 minutes and saw them sitting on the bar for about 15-20 minutes. We were told we needed to vacate the table for the next reservations, (completely understandable) so we moved to the bar, then waited another 10 minutes for our ice cream drinks. They shorted us a drink, but we told the server that it was ok and we didn't want the other one. We finished our drinks and waited another 15 minutes. The server then brought us the last drink but we told him, we said we didn't want it because we were all finished with our drinks. Then we waited another 10 minutes and our original server tried to deliver the last drink. Once again we told her it was too late and we just wanted to pay the bill. Needless to say, it was a bit chaotic and the service wasn't the best but it was probably due to the event and lack of communication and organization. I felt bad for the staff. Overall, the event was cute, the place looked amazing, the drinks were really tasty, so I don't want to give a BAD review but we left the place stressed. I think with some clear expectations and roles for the staff, things might go better for them. The cookie decorating event is a great idea and the place is fantastic!

"Welcome back." I…read morehesitate. I know with absolute certainty that I have never stepped foot in Chicago. Yet, the bartenders greet us with such a warm and friendly energy that I know with absolute certainly that I have been a regular at this bar for years. Decades. Centuries. I know within my soul that this was my go-to bar in a past life (and hopefully in the next). Just as welcoming as the awesome people are the $1 PBRs and $3 shots of tequila. And of course they hand out free hot dogs every night at midnight, which in my (intoxicated) mind was cemented as the definitive Chicago dog, even if it comes with no toppings whatsoever. And fittingly complementing the amazing energy of the bar is a 10 hour Youtube video of that memed Ukrainian kid dancing at a club playing endlessly on the TVs. Rocking sunglasses and looking like a stud, absolutely grooving without a single care in the world, and effortlessly matching every single song on the bar's playlist. That kid truly embodies the spirit of this bar. No matter what day it is, what time of day it is, or who visits, the bar's energy always works. Vibing to Black Eyed Peas on a Monday night never felt better. Imma be... back one day, rest assured. I genuinely can't wait for the next time I'm greeted with, "Welcome back."

The meal started strong with crispy, golden flatbread paired with creamy ricotta. The ricotta was silky and lightly tangy, topped with olive oil, shaved cheese, herbs, and a sweet-savory jam that added depth. The bread had that perfect crunch on the outside with a slight chew inside -- simple but elevated. The pasta was the star. Wide ribbons cooked perfectly al dente, coated in a rich, slow-simmered ragu that tasted deeply savory and comforting. The sauce clung beautifully to the noodles, and the generous sprinkle of parmesan tied everything together. It felt rustic but refined -- the kind of dish you keep going back for.

We sat in the back so it was quieter, but still kinda loud overall and felt more casual than expected. Better for groups than a romantic dinner. 6.5/10. Service was great though. Our server was funny, super attentive, and paced everything perfectly. Loved the little details like switching plates and checking in at the right times. 8/10. The sweet onion toast was sooo good. Reminded me of Au Cheval's bone marrow + jam combo. Crispy & flavorful. 9.5/10. All the pastas were cooked perfectly al dente and not oily at all which I LOVED. The strozzapreti was super comforting with great duck flavor. 8.5/10. The beet agnolotti was really unique, tasted like a cream cheese lox everything bagel. 8/10. The cappelletti was more mid for me, good filling and sauce but nothing crazy. 7/10. The pork collar had an interesting texture like medium rare steak, but I'm just not a big pork fan. 6/10. Now the desserts... BEST part of the meal. The chocolate pavlova was insane. First time trying it and the textures were crazy good with the sorbet, mousse, and crunch. 9.5/10. The cookie dough brownie ice cream was also one of the best flavors I've had. 9.5/10. They also gave us a free chocolate cake for our celebration which was a nice touch, but it tasted pretty basic. Overall, really solid pastas, amazing desserts, and a great app, but a litttttle overhyped for me.
