    Soooo good

This place delivers in its name with their PIES. Simple, homemade, and just done right. The fillings are flavorful and not overly sweet. We ordered the pumpkin and chocolate pecan for a friendsgiving and they were a hit. These pies definitely do not taste store bought and are not artificially sweetened. The pumpkin filling was creamy with just enough spice and the chocolate pecan is nothing short of orgasmic lol. The pie crust is simple and definitely takes a back seat to highlight the flavors of the different fillings being offered. Only downside is that most pies by the time I came to pick mine up on a Saturday were not available as you have to order ahead. I would've loved to have tried their macadamia nut cream pie *drool*. Guess ill just have to come back.

After reading the raving reviews I decided to order two pies for a Friendsgiving dinner. I was very fortunate to get those pies after requesting them the morning of. They had made extra Pumpkin && Chocolate Pecan and they kindly set them aside for me. Don't leave it up to chance though, I would definitely recommend putting in your order the day before. Service was impeccable unfortunately the pies left something to be desired. The pumpkin pie made my mouth water upon first look. Later that night after having an AMAZING dinner cooked by my friend Ale I was ready for some pie. I was heartbroken when I could barely taste any pumpkin. It was bland with hints of cinnamon. Thankfully the chocolate pecan was a lot tastier, great combo. I will be returning in hopes that the bourbon pecan is even better!! Happy Thanksgiving Yelpers!!

    Fondant strawberry cake.

I agree with Julia S. how this bakery is more known for their holiday pies. But recently I ordered a fondant cake for my niece's first birthday and it was absolutely beautiful. I'm usually not a fan of fondant but the entire cake was completely edible. Still reminiscing about this delicious fluffy strawberry cake : )

This place is AMAZINNGGG. The best pies and cakes I've ever tasted!! I don't like mass production store bought apple pies but their individually made ones are sooooo delicious I can eat an entire pie by MYSELF. I don't order from anywhere else during the holidays or birthdays I buy their pies and cakes they can even customize them. Their customer service is out of this world such kind and understanding people they really treat each order like it's their only one and make the effort to make sure he happy with ur pie and all the little details.

If you're looking for a custom cake, this is THE PLACE to get it. This was my first experience ordering a custom cake. I called to get a quote for my mom's 60th birthday cake idea that I had, which involved a hidden money roll compartment that gets pulled out from the top of the cake. I called on a Wednesday and was able to get the cake on the following Saturday - so fast! I spoke to Jonathan, the operations manager, on the phone during the first call and he was very helpful and honest about what could be done in a short amount of time, but it ended up working out bc the cake I wanted was not too fancy or complicated. I asked for a simple cream colored round cake with elegant piped floral decoration, and the insertion of the money box. I emailed him some inspiration pictures and the custom cake specialist totally delivered!! The flavor I chose was Italian Cream and it was as delicious as it was beautiful. The icing was not too sweet, which is just how we like it. The price was extremely affordable (about $75), especially compared to other custom cake places. Couldn't recommend them more to all my family and friends who get custom cakes for special occasions. My mom loved it so much. Thank you so much Pie Factory! For anyone wondering, you can get the money roll kit off of amazon!

Pie Factory did a superb job on our gender reveal cake. We emailed them custom specs and it turned out even better than we envisioned.

Baby in the box shower cake that The Pie Factory made for my grand baby's shower
    Patricia S.

Oh my god there aren't enough great words to say about this company I came to them with a crazy baby in the box baby shower cake and they suggested onesie cookies. Not only did they knock it out of the ballpark but everyone loved the cake and cookies and the decorations were beautiful. Other than that the price was very reasonable. Everyone else I called wanted at least $750 and they were no where near that price. This should be your go to bakery Patricia

Ordered a cake for my sister-in-law's baby shower and it was incredible...look, taste and all. The detail was extraordinary and made the event very special. I would definitely recommend them.

Grooms cake (they even had dotted lines for the jersey stitching!) This was a carrot cake (one of our favorites) and was delicious!

The pie factory is a hidden gem in Houston. This place has the best pies, cakes, cookies, cake balls, etc etc! Everything is handmade in the bakery at the back and let's just say....there are never leftovers when we get dessert from the pie factory! We've been coming here for years now and order anything from pies for house parties, customized birthday cakes to even our wedding cakes! Although their main customers are larger corporations, they treat small customers like us with much care and attention. Note: Our wedding and grooms cakes were so impressive that even our venue posted it on their instagram. They have an amazing cake artist that went above and beyond what we originally requested.

I have glanced at this place over the years and the one time I want to finally buy a pie and they move locations. It was a tad hard to find, but once you know landmarks it's no problem. The store is located at the end if a strip center that does not face the street. So be looking for the Sign. Its right next to a Brake Check. I came here still debating if I wanted a pie or cake. After looking at the selections I got the apple pie. It was good and flaky. It would make a perfect addition on thanksgiving and Christmas. I wish they had petit fours for their cakes. That would be awesome. I'll be back for a cake. It's not that expensive. Be warned --- No credit cards or debit accepted ---. I don't know if this is temporary. I'd call to see If they do now.

    Orange pie version 3.

My family orders a variety of pies from them and they are tasty. We asked them to copy an Orange pie recipe from the now closed Sun Wah Kue bakery in San Francisco. After the third version, we think it is spot on. It is a tasty refreshing pie with whipped cream. It has a nice orange flavor. All pies should be ordered ahead time by one day.

Today was my first visit. The staff was kind, offered samples, and the sampled pecan pie was great. I purchased wedding cookies, an oatmeal cookie, and a sweet potato pie (my holiday favorite!) The cookies were good. However, I regret to write this but, hopefully this will help for future sweet potaoe pie efforts: my sweet potato pie unfortunately, was not to par. It lacked the light to medium souffle texture traditionally associated with s.p. pie. It was rather condensed and stale, like warmed puddy or soft glue. While there were hints of actual sweet potato (much appreciated), it appeared and tasted mixed with canned ingredient, overpowering what sweet potatoes there were, with an aftertaste. It lacked traditional buttery, as well as the traditional nutmeg/spicing, and was bland yet overbearingly sweet. The business seems well operated, clean, well appointed, and the staff was kind and accommodating; it is also in a good location, so I wish the best for this business, but I have to give this honest feedback of my purchase, in hopes that it will help an otherwise well-run establishment.

The BEST apple and pecan pie I ever had!

Omg! I never eat pie because it's not my thing and most of the time when I do try a pie it's way too sweet. But this place makes the BEST pie! I ordered the pecan and apple pie $13.50 and $15.50. It was my first time buying pie so I don't know the prices, but I think it was pretty cheap and tasted really good and everyone loved it! Will definitely come back to try different pies!

Beautiful Boston Cream Pie. Hope it tastes a good as it looks!

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

Also got a bag of chocolates, which are weighed by the pound. The only qualm I have is that the chocolates are not labeled, so when you mix them all together, it truly is a bit of a Russian roulette on what you'll get. Everything was super yummy. Will definitely need to be back!

Our pass was for 1pm and we were inside by 1:10pm. They do reserve the tables initially for the fast passes, at least when we came in at our time and it was great because I couldn't imagine being here without a table since I had a group of little ones with me! The staff were super friendly and worked as quickly as they could. There was a little bit of stress because of volume of orders and people, but they did the best they could and handled the traffic well. Inside you will also find French pastries, coffees and teas, gelato, milkshakes, sandwiches and macaroons. I felt the most interesting items were the French pastries as they are cute and tasty as well. Also, they plate the pastries nicely when you dine in as an added bonus. I tried the Chocolate Royale and the Ruby. Chocolate Royale - a petit chocolate mouse slice with flat chocolate panels along the sides. It is delicate and tasty. If you're a chocolate lover, this is definitely up your alley. Ruby - visually this looks like a strawberry Hershey kiss, with red powder on the exterior and a top piece of foil to resemble foil on the wrapper of a hershey kiss. Inside, it's filled with a strawberry cream and has a chocolate base. I just wish there was more chocolate in this one. They have plenty of seating inside as well as along the sidewalk.
