They could design anything! CBG offers many flavors, but our favorites were the red velvet and bridal white cake. My husband and I love Tetris, and wanted to add that to the cake. CBG did a beautiful job executing that. We received so many compliments on our wedding cake! The reason why I knocked a star off is because the cakes are too sweet for me. If there was 30-40% less sugar, it would've been great. Asians like their desserts "not too sweet" lol. I've had too many dry wedding cakes in my life and the cakes here are consistently moist, which is a huge plus. The other reason why I gave this place 4 stars is because I had to send an inspo pic of how I wanted the flowers to be arranged multiple times to different people at Cakes by Gina. The day of my wedding, my coordinator asked me how I wanted the flowers to be arranged. I ended up explaining it to her and it worked out, but I'm surprised that a picture wasn't printed, or notes were not written down. I'm not gonna lie, they're pricey. The fact that the cake was beautiful and moist made it worth it.

I rented their fake 5-tiered cake and returned it back in good condition and on time. There were small raindrops on the fondant of the big tier cake (it was raining all day on Wednesday), but everything else looked great. Instead of giving me the deposit back, they completely disrespected me with such ugly attitude and decided to not give me back the full deposit. I was shocked because I hired them for 3 events during my wedding planning process and I was referring them out to my friends and family. In addition, the wedding sheet cakes that they delivered were super dry and not exactly what we requested, but I didn't complain about that to them. I spent over $2000 on this company's business to support them and for them to act sleezy about the deposit is so mean. $280 is not a lot of money but it is the principle and completely disrespectful to be treated like we committed a crime over a few water droplets on a fake cake. I am going to let my friends and family know about my experience and hope you all be aware.

This made my pick up very inconvenient but I agreed because I thought it might be worth it. Picked up the cake and it was pretty but not 100% what I expected. Before I saw it, I was assured it looked "just like the picture" and it doesn't. So, I was a little disappointed, but I didn't complain and tried to stay positive. Finally, when we got to eat the cake I was EXTREMELY disappointed. The fondant was completely inedible. Usually, I'm not a huge fan anyway but I always try it. I got strawberry flavor. The cake was dry, dense, and flavorless. To top it off I paid $75 for the cake to feed 15-25 people. I wouldn't have minded paying that IF The cake was a least enjoyable. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
