This is a fascinating place to eat. I was delighted that I was actually able to watch the food being prepared. Everything was delicious. They also had an outdoor service for a limited time at the Sun Inn Garden on Main Street. I highly recommend them! read more

The food is good except the Mac and cheese which I thought would be good it came out burned from the oven made the Mac kinda hard to eat and I noticed table next to us the Mac and cheese was more cheesy and creamy and not burned totally different look from what we have and my omelette I had was with pork and sausage with cheddar it was ok read more

This is a nice little brunch spot. Hipster vibes with unique takes on brunch classics. Service was great! Though every seat was taken up in the space we got all the attention we needed. The food was pretty good. I got the shrimp and grits crepes. Being a Southerner in the North I had low expectations for the grits. They were not what I was accustomed to but they went fine with the dish. My friend got the monte cristo sandwich and fully enjoyed it. My mom got the hen and hog meal as well as traditional French toast. She said it was good. But the potatoes which were recommended was nothing to write home about. I had the French toast too but I'm not a fan of French toast in general so I'll refrain comment. read more

The People's Kitchen - Shrimp and grits crepes - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

We tried being on a snowy Sunday at The People's Kitchen. It was pretty busy around 1 p.m when we arrived but we were seated promptly. There were plenty of options on the menu. I tried the omelette and loved it, it was totally customizable and the toast and potatoes were perfect. My friends got the triple chocolate pancake and the vegan tofu scramble. All of us were very pleased and will definitely be back! It's one of the best brunch spots in Bethlehem. read more

Small restaurant so make you get their early. We got their and got one of the last tables available and before we left there was a line. My wife and I split the shrimp and grits crepes and the banana foster pancakes. Everything was delicious. I had never had shrimp and grits in a crepe but it is a great idea, and everyone should try it. The only knock to the pancakes is I wish they had more sauce/syrup. read more

so delicious and everyone was so friendly!! and the prices are great too, the inside is just really small so make sure you get there early!

Great brunch spot- very cozy with delicious food at reasonable prices. I've always had a pleasant experience here, but I'm knocking off one star because I waited almost an hour for my food during my most recent visit. I wouldn't have minded so much if I didn't witness 3 other parties who were seated after me get their food first. In fact, one of the parties who were seated after me even finished their meals and asked for their check while I was still waiting for my food. However, I'll continue to come here because the food is delicious and it's just a stone's throw away from my house! read more

Service good, omelet was flat not fluffy, potatoes ok, coffee nothing special. Price was not bad, good neighborhood place. read more

I had their spicy burger with some fries. Everything is really fresh and the burger was a work of art. Next time I'm trying their pancakes.

This is my go to breakfast place. The breakfast potatoes are the bomb. The eggs are always cooked perfectly. I've been to bigger places and they screw up the eggs. It never happens here. The bourbon banana croissant French toast is to die for as are the bourbon banana pancakes. It is a small place with limited seating, so sometimes, often actually, you will have to wait for a seat, but it is worth it. read more

This is one of the hidden gems you can find in a small place like Bethlehem. The People's Kitchen is small but not too crowed where you feel as if you cannot move your seats. The food is amazing, my personal favorite is the triple chocolate french toast croissant. It's an amazing place to go for breakfast or brunch and I wholeheartedly suggest it. read more

The People's Kitchen - Triple Chocolate French Toast Croissant mmmm - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

Visited again, but this time for Brunch. I LUBS ME SOME PEOPLES KITCHEN. Amazing brunch items.

Quaint/local corner restaurant that looks to be owned and operated by 30 somethings. Give em credit for trying. I had the People's burger. It came fresh off the grill and was as hot a hamburger as I've ever been served. The beef was very tasty and the BBQ sauce looked to be homemade. I'm not a fan of the shoestring fries, but these were good and fresh. 'Friendly' didn't seem natural for the server. The place could feel a bit more sociable, but, maybe it was just me. I'm not a local, but, that shouldn't matter. If you guys are the owners.....it's working....good luck!! read more

Was in town for a pinball event in May. On our last day we decided we needed a good breakfast before heading back on the long drive to New England. We shook off the urge to just settle and eat at one of the many greasy spoons that populate A-town. We settled on giving this place a try even though it meant driving all the way back downtown. OH MY GOSH!!!!! It was one of the highlights of our trip. This hipster breakfast place is out of this world. Great people, fantastic food. Drop mic. Go here, seriously. read more

Always have a great breakfast. Fresh, delicious, and the prices are good. My husband still hasn't been because the three times we've gone on the weekend, there's a line. And there is nowhere to stand if 4 people are in line. read more

This place is amazing! My friend and I had brunch there once and both are meals were incredible. Delicious and fresh food. Limited menu .. make a few things but make them well I always say. This was my first time here, and I want to come back already. The croissant french toast was sweet, tangy and grilled to perfection. Absolutely delicious! It's a small place that gets busy, so you should expect a wait - but you should also expect it to be worth it. There aren't many good, creative breakfast spots in Bethlehem but this is surely one of them. I ordered the bourbon banana croissant french toast and I did not want to share - it was so amazing! My boyfriend got the full monty without the meat (I'm a vegetarian and we were sharing) and it was equally delicious. We were there with four friends who all concurred that the food was great. This is not a place to skip! read more

Great menu , great service! The menu is simple, to the point, has specials and there is a daily special. The people who work there are friendly and the food is awesome! read more

Just to be clear, this is a *second* and distinct "Mark M." giving this place a 5-star review ... and, to be sure, this place is terrific even if your name isn't Mark! It's a small, funky spot, on the southward aimed stretch of the one-way portion of Linden, just a couple of blocks north of Broad Street in Bethlehem, but *well* worth the navigation to get there. The menu is small, but extremely creative ... and the handmade food is both hearty and delicious. I had the Breakfast Mac & Cheese (complete with the added fried egg on top) and it was awesome ... as was my wife's breakfast burrito. The coffee was very good, too. Prices are, if anything, *too* reasonable, imo. (I want my good breakfast spots to be able to stay in business ... and beating "fast food" prices while delivering locally sourced, hand-crafted food is not the way to enable that!) Very well done! We'll be back .. and will be bringing friends! read more

Oh where to begin...the croissant French toast with mixed berry compote was divine! I stumbled upon this place while browsing through Yelp for a place to stuff my face with good food. While this joint had very high reviews, I was a little apprehensive when I walked in because it was tiny...I mean itty bitty. What they lack in space however, they make up with delicious food and friendly service. The staff is young and hip and the menu reflects a fresh yet elegant twist on classic dishes. All in all, this little spot is a must try in Bethlehem! Don't miss out! read more

What a great local breakfast experience. I'd love to have a place like this a little closer to me. Found it on Yelp, looking for a good breakfast place before District Wrestling at Liberty. It's a breakfast "joint" really. Open concept, small, homey, great vibe. We sat 5 feet from a guy washing dishes and it didn't matter a bit. The menu is limited which in this case was just fine, because all selections appealing. They even threw a special at us which my friend nabbed, Eggs Benedict with crabmeat and avocado. I had a perfectly made omelette with Gouda cheese, bacon and mushroom with locally made wheat bread toast. Bethlehem's lucky to have this joint! read more

Best breakfast place in the valley! Comfy hometown feel, delicious food, excellent service. This place is jamming busy by 10am, but if you can get up and in early it is worth it. The full Monty is excellent. The coffee is great. Overall, a great little breakfast spot. read more

If you want brunch on the weekend with a group of people, you better get there EARLY. We happened to go on a Sunday at 9-9:30am and it got super packed around 10:30 so we were lucky! It is a bit cramped in there so when there is a wait, it is a long wait. I loved the atmosphere, everything was so open and the cook was there in the window cooking up all of our breakfast. There are a decent amount of tables, plus the bar top to sit at. I ordered the Texas Toast french toast with bourbon banana and O-M-G, it was delicious! There wasn't an overdose of sauce, the perfect amount. So much food too. Everyone else loved their meals, I tried the pancakes with the other sauce (I can't remember) but those were just as good. All the food we had was delicious and I was told the coffee is really good. I would order the french toast again, I should try something else but it is just too yummy. Yes, the menu is limited, but I kind of like it. Not too many distractions and it's easy to choose for the morning. With how small this place is, it's better to get people in and out quickly! I will definitely visit this place again for breakfast!! I read more

Eh, better when first opened. Menu very limited, that's fine. Too expensive, for what you got. Cute little place, but starting to take the ware and service was fair at best. Just going through the motions. No need to come back. Over it. read more

What a find. Little neighborhood joint with great staff and even better food. Very limited menu, but what they do, the do exceptional. Seats maybe 25 people, but flow is good and well worth the wait. Billy and his crew extremely engaged and definitely know how to bring the yummy. My daughter had the breakfast mac and cheese, which is genius. I had a breakfast sandwich on a chibatta role that was delicious. Can't wait to try their lunch menu. Will definitely be heading back. read more

Great little spot. Menu is short and to the point. Only about 10-15 items on the menu (if that) but I'm sure they're all great. On my first trip I had an omelette with Gouda, sausage and apple. First time I've had apple on an omelette and it was excellent! Worth making at home! My girlfriend had the full monte which she loved. I tried it and it wasn't what I was in the mood for but maybe another time I would get it. The couple sitting next to us even picked up the check for us, and told us to pay it forward. Next time we go to PK, someone's meal is on us! Will be going back! read more

This little hole in the wall is exactly what Bethlehem needs. Be aware it's a tiny place with one person working, it has the feel of a food truck that you can eat in. The menu is limited, but the breakfast mac and cheese and the croissant french toast were both original and delicious. The coffee was good and the menu unique. I liked being personally greeted by the guy cooking and the open and friendly atmosphere of the place. I think this restaurant is very promising, but go in with a little patience as they just opened and are still working out the kinks. The most important thing is that they seem very eager to please their patrons and concerned with serving good food. It was a nice change from some of the well established, but uncaring restaurants in town. I'm looking forward to trying everything on the menu. read more

In town for a wedding, the boyfriend and I go searching for a good breakfast/brunch place. I hate eggs and toast platter so I was happy when People's Kitchen asked me if I wanted a breakfast or lunch menu or both. The boyfriend ordered their jalapeno burger and I got the quiche. The burger and quiche were both made to order. I had a bite of the burger and I was delicious! A fresh patty (never frozen) - the server even asked us if we wanted "pink" or "no pink". For $8 for fresh angus beef never frozen patty and fresh cut shoe string fries I was impressed. The quiche is good but on the smaller side, the side salad is amazing. Simple side salad but dressed so well and all the greens are fresh (no limpy leaves for me). Highly recommend. read more
