The overcharge of $20 was a waste. We left after 30 minutes of waiting on our pizza. The pizza was ok. Slightly better than frozen red baron. We had high hopes for the music but was very disappointed that the songs were just about identical to what was being played out on the main floor. We are older so we expected a little better "RnB" vibe than what was played while we were there as opposed to songs like "I don't f w you" . When you want delivery pizza and don't want any of the national brands (Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Papa Johns) and want something more gourmet, The Lounge is a good choice. They have late hours too. Got That Pizza with Egg ($22), which has prosciutto, truffle oil and egg. It was pretty yummy. Also got the white garlic pizza ($14). The pizza with the egg (literally that's the name of it) is amazing! I haven't ate this pizza in a while and it's still delicious years later. A few changes with the way you order though 1) you can no longer walk in to just eat pizza (you now have to pay a cover charge at Venus night club and access The Lounge that way) 2) if you just want pizza, you need to call to order and wait outside 3) the yolk now comes in a container and you need to pour it on yourself, I liked that (it used to be served on the pizza). The guy who took our order was nice and friendly. Since I was paying with card, he came out to take my payment. The wait wasn't long, probably because we were there at 9pm. I have known about this place for years, but never brought myself to check it out. Came here on a weekday, not crowded at all. Service was okay, on the slower side. I like this spot because its casual. Parking can be tough, we just parked at Ala Moana Center and walked over. The Grub. This place is terrible. They had 1.5 stars and a ton of bad reviews on Yelp, but they somehow reset their account to delete all the bad reviews!!! Be warned!!!! I went here Saturday night at 9pm and there were only 2 people in the bar. The bartender wouldn't even come serve us at a table, we sat there and waited and waited (at least 10 minutes) then had to get up to go order our drinks at the bar. Got 2 draft beers with several inches of head on top (rookie pour) and sour attitude from the bartender like he was upset that there were customers in the place and he couldn't hang out with his 2 friends at the bare hi he never stopped talking to the whole time. Also the sign said "Happy Hour 6-10" and we were charged full price for our beers. I questioned the bartender and he sneered, "Monday to Friday only" and rolled his eyes. If there's days it is valid, the sign should be specific. I felt like he upcharged us to be able to pocket the money for himself because he obviously was not making any that night because nobody was in there. Horrible experience-we literally got kicked off our table while chewing our food!! Even got pushed by employee! After some dancing at nearby venues, we decided to end our evening here. Bad decision!! We ordered a pizza and a few beers, sat down at a table that a group of party goers gladly offered since they were done. Literally 5-10 minutes later an employee came over and rudely kicked us off the table for a "more important" customer, the table wasn't in a reserved area nor was it labeled . I was shocked never in a million years have I been treated like that. Last I checked all customers are important and have the same money. The employee was so rude that he even pushed my friend off her stool.I can not believe he went to the extreme of putting his hands on my friend!!! How dare he!! I guess to make us move quicker! I mean we did have to pick up our plates with our food on them and figure out what the heck we were going to do!! As I stood there by the employee wondering if he was going to at least apologize, he just shrugged his shoulders raised his eyebrows as if I owed him an apology!! On our way out the security team was even embarrassed how we were treated inside!! Needless to say this place is fine taking your money, but don't care about anything else! I did give it one star for their pizza. At least that was yummy! Needed to share this experience so everyone knows what to expect here. This is a perfect go-to place to just drink and hang out. You can casually go in for pizza, wings, and fries or have a whole night out and step right into the District dance club thats attached to The Lounge! The Lounge has amazing pizza and you really cant go wrong with any of them, but the favorite has to be "That Pizza W/Egg". Just get it. Trust me. The wings are another go-to for me. Lots of flavor! Happy Hour is crazy good too. It lasts till 11:30pm EVERYDAY! $3 beers, $5 wells, $3 off pizzas and $1 off pupus! Cant beat that! read more

The place was amazingly chill--no pressure, no drama, no pretenses. The pizza: fantastic. I had a pepperoni and mushroom. The crust was basic and perfectly so. I could have used more mushrooms; other than that, great sauce, crust, and topping combo. I felt like I could go there, not be bombarded by loud music, crazy reverb, and annoyingly sweet waitresses. However, they never notified me when I ordered the food that I couldn't eat inside and when I received the order they threw away my drink and pushed me out. Laz was bouncing the night I last went to The Lounge, a place I've been taking my coworkers and friends to for the past five years. We had the table closest to the door and we had three chairs with four people (three guys and one girl). We were accompanying all of those chairs when my friend got up to buy drinks. Laz then took one of our chairs. I then asked him if he were using it, and he replied looking at my male friend and me aggressively saying, "The female should be sitting!" I then said, "We were using it." Laz replied, "They should let the female sit. (Looking at me, the female) Are you going to sit?" I left it alone, and my friend had to stand. I am most unsatisfied with the customer service here after this night. I usually come here, however I am sad to say I am very disappointed after this night. read more

got there last night, ordered "that pizza with egg" with prosciutto. waited about 15 mins, then I see a bunch of pizzas flying out to a packed lounge. I see mine past by so I went up to the bar and asked about my pizza, and then he gave me a different pizza. when I went up to ask about the egg, bartender said it's cooked into it, but clearly there was no egg nor prosciutto, but we were hungry. so there was that and the pizza wasn't even hot. didn't have to lie about the pizza, could've been straight up. moral of the story, don't order pizza here on Friday night at 2am read more

One of our favorite places to visit when in Hawaii. We went there for pizza after partying at District nightclub which in in the same building. You can actually see inside the club from the bar. I walked up to the empty bar to order drinks and mozzarella sticks. Both bartenders were on their phones completely ignoring me and my friend. When I said "hi!" And tried to grab someone's attention they passed us off to another server/bartender who also was not attentive. After we sat down, my friend goes to the bar to order more drinks and close her tab and the bartender was glued to her phone and completely oblivious to the fact that there was a guest in front of her. This is an odd place. It's not quite a restaurant, it's more of a nightclub. But it's open really late, and offers pretty good pizza. I live about a block from it, so I go there on occasion for pizza after leaving other bars. It's loud, and crowded, and predominantly a local crowd that tends to stare as if I'm out of place there. I've been coming to this place for years! The new owners clearly continue to make this the destination hang out bar. The lounge has consistent service and a staff that clearly work as a team, you can feel it in this positive atmosphere. If you want to come to a place to hang out after work or celebrate with your friends this is the place to be. The pizza is amazing and it's one of the last places to open till 4 am!!
