I love the bartender Frank's tequila honey lemon drink! Their grits are delicious. I love the owner Matt! The vibe, lighting, atmosphere at The Parish are lovely. I was going to write dope, but decided to adult. I recommend their Hudson North local gard ciders. 3.5 and will return. After a long day at Minnewaska park, this is the perfect spot we've wished for. The weather cooperates too. The service is bit slow but the food is great: sweet potato cake, crab cake, gator bits and shrimp on grits.

This place wins the weekend trip. We got the last available reservation on NYE. Figured it must be good if it's booked up when other places had wide availability. Small intimate bar with a handful of tables - great for date night. They had a live band throughout the night until midnight. The crowd was fun too. Gonna go backwards for food - ORDER KEY LIME PIE. Ordered specials - grilled snapper with asparagus both drizzled with remoulade over a bed of black rice pilaf. My boyfriend ordered the 10oz strip steak with crisp kale and potatoes. Both so delicious!! And cocktails? Order NINTH WARD. Mostly Bourbon and Gin on the menu, overall. Service was excellent - great staff! Thanks for the perfect NYE!

Made a quick stop on the way home and had the best Cajun cuisine outside of New Orleans. Great beer and wine list. Enjoyed 2 very delicious cocktails but they had me at the creamy delicious macaroni and cheese. Perfect starter in the shrimp and grits. Service was amazing by the very entertaining bartender Frank and I really enjoyed the Patrick Swayze radio vibes. I'd make the 2 hour trip just for this place. A winner all around. Do yourself a favor and go.

Came up to this area to go to a haunted house, after the haunted house we wanted to have a nice dinner and some good drinks. We found the parish, and we're glad that we did. They were closing soon, so we had called while we were 20 mins away and asked them to take our order over the phone and have it ready for us so we didn't make the kitchen staff stay open past their time, and they actually accommodated this for us! That right there is tremendous service. We ordered wings, which were delicious. Very crispy and juicy. We got a side of Mac and cheese and the skirt steak over potatoes cooked medium. The steak was cooked perfectly and super delicious. Our service was tremendous. Great spot right here.

Busy fresh clean Would I go again? No. Why? 18.00 burger was excellent fries over salted appeared to be frozen shoestring half were cold half were hot Did I mention over salted Fried chicken excellent Wings best I have had in years Maybe I would get them to go. Huge plump juicy wings even though the cook shorted us a wing( they corrected it) Frog legs this was the first time I have had them and they were not overcooked 5.00 for a Shirley temple in a restaurant is absolutely ludicrous . Basically the prices and the fries wolf actually keep me away. Not sorry. Waitress was busy and super friendly. Thank you

Tonight was our first time going to The Parish. At first the service at the bar kind of sucked. We waited a loooong time to be asked if we wanted drinks. And then after another long wait we were asked if we wanted to order food....only to not have our orders taken. We were about to leave but figured that the place was busy and why not give it a shot. Eventually we were able to order and holy crap you guys...the food was freaking amazing. The drinks were great. They gave us knives to go with our steaks but you didn't even need them. Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. The place is beautiful. Totally worth the wait. The server that we had a awesome once we were able to get a table. We're definitely going back. My advice: make reservations.

Don't order the shrimp and grits. Three shrimp and two spoonfuls of grits. Total banditry.

The food was good but they served burned bread with the Po Boy. I am not sure why they just didn't re-toast the bun before they served it.

After dinner we were looking for a decent bar to enjoy a quick drink before heading home. This place surpassed our expectations by a mile. Neon lights, edgy signs and the aroma of incense draw you in. The bar keeper greets you under the disco ball. You take a look around, cool clothes and even better decor. The bar is set up with mint infused water and glasses. I love the attention to detail, and anticipation of customer needs. After talking to the bartender; Thomas about their cocktail options, I settled on a draft IPA, although I had my eye on their Filthy Twisted Martini. Thomas described it as breaking all the trad martini rules and it sounded delicious, but he let me know it did have a bit of spice. I couldn't tolerate anymore spice so I decided to try that one another time. My Wife ordered their botanical lemonade, she loved it, describing it as the best lemonade she ever had. Y'all!! It's delicious, a must try, with the option to have it with or without alcohol. We decided to sit on their rooftop patio, people watching and enjoying the cool summer evening. Bathrooms were super clean. Parking on the street. This place will be on my mind until the next time I'm there. Signed, The Happy Hour Huntress

On the weekends it turns on a late-night party scene filled with college students. It is lined up right in Main Street with other smaller restaurants and bars. This was one of my favorite cheap eateries in the town while I was in college. I have been here twice since for happy hour specials. I ordered the chicken wings and the shrimp tacos. The drinks were around $5 which is a steal compared to New York City prices. In the past they used to offer a large fishbowl drink for your birthday. It was huge and took several people to drink it. Currently it is the size of a large cup as you can see in the picture. It does the job but it is much smaller than what it was in 2010. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. I usually sit at the bar which is a great place to meet others and watch the game. Everyone usually comes in for drinks and a quick meal. There are large tables for families to come in and spread out. Everyone was nice here. I plan to come back soon and take advantage of the happy hour specials again.
