Great local microbrewery and nice place to stop for a few hours on a nice day! Staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable, beer is great and atmosphere is casual. Sit at the bar on high-too seats, on picnic tables inside the facility or our back where you can play corn hole and other games. Nice small bites bar food as well!

Stopped in after a hike. Nice 4 or 5 choices of different unique brews. Great outdoor seating options. Right off a rail to trail trail. Will bike and stop next tine.

A small but powerful brewery!! Beautiful outdoor seating spot and amazing beer. Such a simple and positive atmosphere. We really enjoyed our time here.

A solid beer spot off the beaten path, we came here after our hike. The outdoor seating was nicely spaced out and their enforcement of masks while ordering or going inside to the bathroom was nice. Their beers were tasty and appetizers were solid. A nice finish was their mini ice creams they also sold.

Spacious light and airy warehouse type bar and brewery. Delicious tasting beer and lots of choices. Fun place to try some craft beers and some light snacks. Worth a trip. Once you go once you'll definitely go back.

Beer Menu for the day. On a Sunday.

Great spot for beers and snacks. They have a ton of outdoor spaces out seating, and require masks at the walk up counter. So I felt pretty safe in covid times. Not super crowded on a Sunday. Service was friendly and beers were great! Loved the Citra Saison and the Owlet. We came here after hiking in Mohonk Preserve and I would definitely go back.

A cool funky lil spot and I like what they're doing here both in business model and in atmosphere. Local-everything, drinks made from local ingredients and in vats right in the building, kid friendly , good beers, BBQ..... and hell, the night we were there, they even had a Elvis impersonator rockin the house! A welcome addition to the Gardiner hood!

Yard Owl Brewery is as good as it gets. Here you'll find fantastic food, owners that put their heart and soul into the business, and some of the best brews in the Hudson Valley (seriously). I've come on busy nights, slow nights and every night I leave happy. Plus, they have live music every week (just what we needed in Gardiner) and are all about supporting local. I can't say enough great things about this place, so I'll leave it short and sweet (you get the point, right?) Why are you still reading this? Pay them a visit! It's just what the doctor ordered.

Enjoyed the beers and nice outdoor area. It looks like it is right off a trail. I also like the variety, ciders and wine as well.

If you have a…read morespecific diet perhaps research more into where you are going instead of leaving a negative review on a business. We stopped in and put our names down as there was a 30ish+ minute wait. We waited at the bar and were able to get a flight and a few drinks which helped to pass the time. The staff were doing their best as they told us they were extremely understaffed which is completely understandable. We were in no rush and the drinks helped to pass the time. The food here was 100% worth the wait to be seated at a table. Yes it was slow getting our table but once we ordered our food was out within 20ish minutes. Well handled for how packed they were. Our server was friendly and polite. I ordered the CRB with grilled chicken. I was genuinely impressed with not only the flavor, but the quality of the ingredients. My grilled chicken was fresh and well seasoned and perfectly juicy with every bite. The bacon was crisp, the lettuce and tomato were also fresh, and the amount of cheese and ranch on the brioche bun was just right. I was also impressed at being able to order regular fries when their menu explicitly said truffle fries as I have a severe allergy. Although they broke me the wrong fries initially our wonderful server brought me a fresh new batch right away. My boyfriend ordered the Rueben and said it was delicious from the sauerkraut, fresh fluffy bread, and meat. Our entire party was extremely satisfied with the quality of our meal. It made the wait times well worth it! If you are in the area I highly recommend both their beers and food! There is indoor and outdoor seating. The entire interior gives a rustic Vermont cabin vibe which is cozy mixed with the industrial part of a brewery. They also have their own private lot which is free parking but be weary of other drivers as I had seen some cars either hit or parked into other vehicles.

We also had two bowls of soup - one was cheddar broccoli and the other was French onion. Everything was delicious. We especially liked the cheese curds. If you are from the Midwest, these are not the same. They are breaded at this place and totally delicious. The pierogies were our least favorite of the three appetizers, but also delicious. We went during the week and it was very quiet, but the restaurant was clean and the service was fantastic. We were seated immediately and the ambience was festive and giving us great vibes. Everyone was super friendly and we had a great interactions with the staff. Our server named Sam was incredibly knowledgeable about every single beer and item on the menu. They recommended beers that we wouldn't normally try. I had the coconut cream ale, and it was delicious. As Sam explained, it was much more of a toasted coconut taste than actual sweet coconut. We also tried the blueberry wheat beer , which was fantastic. Very well balanced. I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back.

The parking lot is small but luckily it wasn't crowded on a Sunday afternoon. The food was excellent. They have a wood fired grill menu only on the weekends.
