The gastropub is decently sized and very inviting! Walking in felt like you were definitely in a relaxed place to grab a beer with friends and to have some fun. The hostess and bartender was great at explaining the beer options and what they had on tap which was great for people who are just getting into beers in general. The light beers were refreshing and very bright in flavors, I suggest the Hazy Boi Pineapple if you are looking for a fruity more tropical type beer. The dark beers I tried were the Cocoliente and the Coconut Vanilla Stout. Both were creamy in texture and tasted similar to coffee and chocolate. The bacon cheese smash burger is great and definitely tasty. If you are looking for a good food and beer combo this is the place to be!

This brewery is somewhat new to the area, but fits right in! Been here on a handful of occasions and have never left disappointed. A few years ago, we had a large group outing and HAW was amazing - great food, space, and beer. We have been coming back a few times a year and each visit is better than the last. We recommend grabbing a flight to sample their beer - there's guaranteed to be a draft you enjoy. If you're driving, consider one of their sessionable ales or low abv IPAs. I thoroughly enjoy their Belgian Style MonkHe See, MonkHe Do Dubbel. 8% and delicious. If they tap the Coconut Vanilla Stout, it's a must try. Their food is great and filling. The pretzel is enough for two people. It's unreal. Don't hesitate to stop in, enjoy some good drinks, food, games, and atmosphere. Right near the HV Rail Trail too!

Hudson ale Works is a comfy community brewery. There are three different rooms the first room you could go to the bar and order your food and your drinks in the second room. It's more for seating and eating and then they have a big room with different games in it. Including a hook game and another really fun game. I have never played before with pegs and balancing it on a wheel. While I was at Hudson Ale works I ordered the pretzel and beer cheese and some of the people at my table also ordered the nachos as well as the chicken sandwich special. Everything looked really yummy as well as tasted really good too. You can also get flights of beer here as well as cocktails. I ordered a hard seltzer and it was perfect for me because I'm not necessarily a beer person. But other people at my table ordered the Pilsner and they enjoyed it.

Did not fall in love with most of the beers here but I did really enjoy the sour on tap. Very reasonably priced beer flights ($8 I believe) and the pretzel we ordered was very very delicious. Service was friendly and fast. Few picnic tables out front. Especially of note was the super sweet, huge indoor space. The "loading dock" in the back is perfect for big groups in the colder weather season and we will definitely be back to take advantage!

I absolutely love this little gem in Highland. They have the best nachos and the most amazing beers. Highly recommend Hops to the Face and Century Plant. The Staff is extremely welcoming.

I visited Hudson Ale Works on Saturday afternoon when they opened. I was visiting the Poughkeepsie area for the day so I could cycle the Rail Trail. I thought it would be fun to stop and visit some area breweries on my return trip. First stop of the day: Hudson Ale Works. I ordered a taster flight of the four different IPAs that they had on tap. My favorite was their 'Hazy Boi - Mango', a New England IPA with Mango added. I heard that they had excellent brunch food, but I was informed that the employee who normally prepares brunch was gone for the weekend. Instead I had some tasty pretzel bites with beer cheese. They paired nicely with the beers. I bought some Hazy Boi - Mango to go, packed it into my saddlebag, and I was on my way. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I would visit again if I'm in the area again.

This is a great place to visit for drink, conversation, and food, and it went on my "must visit more often" list almost instantly. There is a nice variety of brews on tap, hopefully something for everyone. The friendliness of the staff here is infectious, and it's hard not to get into conversations with them and the people sitting around you. The prices for food and drink, and especially the samplers, are reasonable too. The only food I got today was a pretzel, warm and dark-crispy with the right amount of salt, served with two mustards, and I found myself pouring the sriracha mustard on the pretzel for just about every bite. The paninis I saw delivered to other tables were "unlock your jaw to eat them" thick. I need to come back here more often, and bring some other friends who will enjoy it here.

This is a very nice brewery. They have around 10 beers on tap. The beers I had where very good. They have a good menu. There is a small bar inside with a inside room with tables. The front is a nice outdoor seating area that is very very nice .

So happy we stopped in! The food was amazing and the selection of drinks included something for everyone. The staff was beyond accommodating and friendly! We will definitely be coming again when we're back in the area!

Stopped in after some rock climbing in the Catskills. It was quiet on a Saturday at dinner time, so we worried we made a bad call. Nope! Everything was delicious. We tried a few of the beers on draft and enjoyed them all- especially the mango IPA. We ordered several items from the starters menu and the portions were large enough to suffice as our meal. Stuffed! Not sure where the crowds were, but hopefully this place gets the business it deserves. We'll be back to sample the rest of their drinks and try their entrees soon!

The walking tour lasted for ~45 minutes or so, with the guide ending with a tasting of three different Sakes and pieces of Sushi to pair with. The building itself was quite modern looking (they just built it recently) and very well-kept. You get to see the entire brewery and the equipment they operate with, and there's also a good amount of seating at the front for after the tour. There's also an area where you can look at Sake for sale and buy to take home. They have a limited, but nice snack menu and an extremely attentive staff to make sure you are both informed and well taken care of.

We tried all 8 beers they had on tap that day...they offer tastes of each beer for free, and then half pours are $5...all in all, super reasonable. The beers were all light and flavorful, there will certainly be something for everyone in your group. Upon receiving our beer, we went to sit outside and listen to the live entertainment. The man singing and playing the guitar and keyboard had a fun personality and clearly wrote many of his songs. This ever-talented man, after one of his songs, thanked us for coming out and shared that he is the owner of the farm and brewery and that we were experiencing the fruits of 13 years of work by him and his wife. How incredible! Not only is this a beautiful story of a family living the dream, it also made me want to return and spend more time there. There are plenty of chairs and picnic tables to sit at while enjoying your beverages and the music, but we saw an older couple bring their own chairs, which we thought was a good idea. In addition to the by-owner music, they have a variety of board games available to play, along with several bags sets. It's also a dog-friendly spot. If you're looking for a fun way to spend an evening, look no further! Can't wait to visit again.
