a red barn on a farm

I wanted to love this place so badly. I'm going to give it another shot. Maybe I just got there too early in the day. They were expecting a food truck that hadn't shown up yet and a musician got there to set up around the same time we arrived. The blonde ale they had on tap was delicious. It hit the spot after walking around Innisfree Gardens. We would have stayed longer if there was food. The owner was welcoming but busy as they are understaffed. I liked the mishmash vibe going on with the seating. Can sit out in the yard or inside. It felt homey.

The decor and vibe were perfect for a cold Saturday afternoon. The live music added a nice touch.... As did all the festive lighting.

We recently started coming to Old Adriance Farm to check out the space and taste their beers. Black Snake Brewery is right on site. Since our first visit, we've been back around six times, partaking in live music nights, trivia, and food truck offerings. It's an awesome spot with plenty of room for socially distancing. Black Snake has around 10 taps, including other drafts from area breweries. Only a few warm days left! Check them out and check their social media pages for updates on menus and events! It does get crowded, so arrive early.

We came to spend the day and night here. The place is a working free range farm with a brewery. They offer parking for members of HarvestHost. Wide open spaces and very dog friendly. My humans had a few of the beverages. Pale Blonde ale and the Adele's Dream Black IPA was greatly enjoyed

Very nice little place. Parking is across the street and walk up the hill. The bar is pretty cool and there's places to sit outside. The owner said there's live music usually and there was also a food stand opened that smelled good. I'm guessing it was burgers and hot dogs. There was also a farm store with random products in it. You can walk the property a bit which was nice. You can also see the hops growing across the street. The beer was good but I loved the wine based ice pops! Those weren't made there but they were perfect for a hot day. This day there were lots of kids running around so it wasn't like a peaceful place to chill but it definitely could be cool when there's live music

They let dogs inside which was especially nice during the winter. The food was really good as well. My husband enjoyed his burger with chips and I enjoyed the French onion soup and hummus. Will definitely come back when visiting the area again!!

Indoor seating was adequate and well utilized on a chilly October day. Busy on a Sunday afternoon. Parking lot is large and adequate. Bathroom was clean. Service was good and surprisingly fast. Staff were all quite nice. You order at the counter and they bring the food and drinks to your table. The line to order was short. They have some interesting bar games, I'll try next time. My wife got a Brut Pick Your Own Raspberry IPA and she enjoyed it. Got food: Vegan Impossible burger was good, I was grateful for the offering, the bun could use some improvement. Wife got regular beef burger and enjoyed, same mushy bun. Brussel sprout salad was good and healthy. We would not order the pretzel bites again, looked like sliced up bagels with goop on top. Fries, large size is very large, appropriate for more than 2 people. Corn fritters were enjoyable. This is a brewery more than a restaurant. Brewery offering is large. Food is limited because it is coming from a food truck. Still, they keep things moving fast. Vegan choices are limited, but I appreciate their awareness. This place would be great if they could elevate their food scene. They have a Trivia night, every 2 weeks and we will come back for that. Helpful?

We tried all 8 beers they had on tap that day...they offer tastes of each beer for free, and then half pours are $5...all in all, super reasonable. The beers were all light and flavorful, there will certainly be something for everyone in your group. Upon receiving our beer, we went to sit outside and listen to the live entertainment. The man singing and playing the guitar and keyboard had a fun personality and clearly wrote many of his songs. This ever-talented man, after one of his songs, thanked us for coming out and shared that he is the owner of the farm and brewery and that we were experiencing the fruits of 13 years of work by him and his wife. How incredible! Not only is this a beautiful story of a family living the dream, it also made me want to return and spend more time there. There are plenty of chairs and picnic tables to sit at while enjoying your beverages and the music, but we saw an older couple bring their own chairs, which we thought was a good idea. In addition to the by-owner music, they have a variety of board games available to play, along with several bags sets. It's also a dog-friendly spot. If you're looking for a fun way to spend an evening, look no further! Can't wait to visit again.

It may sound cheesy but it describes exactly the atmosphere of this place, a good time full of friendly people. It's a 2 two story building with plenty of seating. I have been here many a time where the upstairs is rented out for a private event. They also have two outside decks full of tables and chairs which is perfect to sit at when the weather is nice. And trust me when the weather is nice this place is packed!!!! The food here is delicious. In the warmer months they have a pizza food truck that comes. The pizza is sooo good my favorite is one they sell that has a white sauce on it instead of marinara it is delicious. The brewery itself makes small bites and has a few sandwiches that come with a bag of potato chips. They are also good. Last time we came our friends got the meatball sub and it was huge!!! They said it was amazing. They have a great selection of beers including IPAs, Stouts, Sours, and Ciders. I will say this brewery is what kindled my love for Sour beers. They have one that tastes like a red Starburst, so yummy! They also have non alcoholic beer and spirits on their menu. The staff is also friendly. I have seen them frazzled a time or two when it's really busy which is understandable. All in all it's good service both bar tenders and other staff that is working hard cleaning up tables ams sweeping to make sure the tables are ready for the next round of people. Also to note this is not table service. You go to the bar and order your food and either pay there or open a tab. They then bring out your food to you. You can also get beers to take home and other merchandise such as shirts, jackets, and some packaged food items. It very family friendly! Every time I come I see tons of families here, which is nice. Oh and the last thing to note the bathrooms are always clean!!! Which is something I really appreciate about any place that is serving food and drinks.

What makes this establishment so memorable and so sought after? Let me count thy ways. Hudson Valley awaits at the end of Beacon's Main Street, a fitting finale to a day spent ducking in and out of shops. Its wide open spaces and available sitting is a welcome sight for sore feet. Its diverse array of drinks, from wines to beers to sours, will quench any type of thirst. My drink of choice are their sours, and as someone who previously did not like these kinds of drinks, I was thoroughly converted. Perfect for people who don't like beers, their sours are berry-forward with a tartness that cuts through the sweet flavors. It's so good, I even lugged a six-pack home all the way to the train and back to the city! You simply cannot visit Hudson Valley Brewery without trying their pizza. It's one of my favorites. Cooked in an outdoor brick oven, their pizzas are charred to perfection; their crust thin yet provides a satisfying substantial bite; and their pie topped with ooey gooey cheese. Although I don't doubt that anything you order will be delicious, I have tried their sausage and pepper pizza, as well as their margherita, and can attest to how delicious they are. If you're visiting Beacon, end your day here at Hudson Valley Brewery. It's the ideal last stop.
