Brooklyn vibes in the heart of Accord We stopped by Aunt in Accord, NY, and it totally channels a Brooklyn feel--trendy space, decent pizza, and super kid-friendly. It's a great hang, especially if you've got little ones along for the ride. Just be prepared for city prices: $25 for a take-home cider and $18 for a shot of whiskey definitely caught us off guard. The best time to visit is during the Woodist Festival in late summer--they're right across from Arrowood Farms, and the whole area has an awesome energy when the festival's going on.

Westwind is on the same road as Arrowood Farms (brewery). We liked the outdoor space and vibe at Westwind better. They have a nice variety of wood fired pizza! The pizzas have an amazingly thin crust! Staff will bring you food order to you, no matter where you're sitting. A positive is that they had a selection of non-alcoholic drinks. They also had some beers and wines, if I remember correctly. (It's been a few days!) Their beer menu was okay. Oh and they have gelato!!! I'd go again, especially for the pizza.

5 stars for the ambiance and vibe at Westwind! Lovely staff, beautiful surroundings and Friday night salsa dancing. Felt family friendly and also not too over crowded. I'd give 4 stars for my raspberry cider and 3 stars for the pizza. The margarita pizza was tasty, thin crust and fresh ingredients. The ortolano had all the right toppings to speak to me but was soooooo salty. Huge flakes of salt were super overpowering. Prices for pizza were high considering size (over $20) but everything tasted fresh made to order. I'd definitely be back for a drink and a vibe and maybe a gelato next time!

My visit was on October 2025 just for a point of reference. Dined in alone. A beautiful venue to dine with lots of space outside and casual vibes. It would've been more interesting to people watch and bask in the vibrancy of the atmosphere if there were a larger crowd but this was a weekday evening. But still. The potential. Amazing ciders, and in fact might be the best I've tried so far. If you like dry and/or funky ciders, this would definitely be your jam. I would have bought some to go if I wasn't concerned about the logistics of traveling with them. Excellent food. I only tried the ragu per recommendation by the staff who checked me in. When the dish was delivered I was underwhelmed by how lackluster the presentation was, but then it proceeded to blow my mind by being one of the best pastas I've ever had. The meat chunks fell apart at the lightest touch of my fork, the sauce had a deep tomato-y savory flavor that was perfectly balancing out the dry ciders, and the pasta itself was clearly handmade and had the perfect texture. I still dream of this pasta, hence this very late review. The reason I didn't give this place a perfect rating is pretty straightforward: nonexistent service. You order and pay up front (although I suppose you could keep the tab open since this is a drinking type place), so I also tipped them up front a generous amount since my whole dinner/drinks were pretty substantial in terms of pricing and so I somehow assumed the service would be adequate to decent at the very least. Turned out this was a mistake. While they did deliver the food to my seat, that was literally the entirety of their service. For some bizarre reasons the server didn't bother giving me any utensils to eat with while dropping off the pasta. I was a little taken aback, so I asked the server and she dismissively pointed towards the main building and told me that that would be where I would find the utensils. So I went back in to get some plastic utensils feeling somewhat silly. On top of that I bussed everything after I was done with my dinner as there was an obvious spot designated for doing just that. Lesson learned about tipping prematurely, but angel's share, I suppose. All in all, I would still highly recommend this place to anyone who just happens to be in the vicinity, because even if it is a bit of a detour this mighty cidery/restaurant is worth a visit. I could imagine this being such a good time with outstanding food, ciders, and just some good ambience weather permitting. I will personally be looking to get my hands on those ciders come next cider season!

This is one of our favorite spots to visit when upstate. Amazing ciders, pizza, and other delicious bites. Live music, outdoor fires, and easygoing vibe.

We visited the hubby's family in NY and we stopped by here. Westwind Orchard is a family owned & operated farm, cidery & restaurant. I ordered pasta with a simple sauce, while the hubby ordered a salad. We each enjoyed our meal, though wished there was a bit more in terms of portion Also ordered a glass of cider and it was refreshing. They also have outdoor events and tables/seatings outside if you want to enjoy the fresh air :)

Amazing pizzas, pastas, salads, and ice cream! I love the thin sliced Salsiccia. Truly, the best I ever had. I forgot to take pic of the Fettucchine al limoncello because I devoured it too quickly. The service was great and the staff is pretty friendly. Maybe I'm just lucky, but it's always sunny when I visit! It was such a beautiful day outside as I stuffed my face. Tip: take the leftover pizza crust and dip it in the lemon pasta sauce. Thank me later.

What a gift Westwind is! Our best local option, and well worth the two hour drive from the city. The food is superior - from their exceptional wood fired pizzas featuring homemade mozz and their own, farm raised produce - so fresh and delicious. The restaurant kitchen has flown under the radar for too long. Chef's seasonal soups are magical. Fresh pasta made on site using eggs from Westwind's own happy chickens. Friends drive hours, claiming it's to see me and it soon becomes obvious Westwind's roasted chicken is the real draw. Now let's talk cider. I used to think cider was a one-note headache-inducer. Not so at Westwind. Their options are as complex as wine, varied, interesting, dry and just damn delicious. Their cider maker is a Pommelier! Only 150 of them in the world, and very few are women. Love that we have one right here so close to the other big apple. Incredible setting, life giving really. Staff is friendly and hustles like heck where it gets busy, which is often. I'm a friend and neighbor, obvs., but if I wasn't a fan too, I'd just keep my pie- hole shut and you wouldn't read a thing about them from me here. Hands off the honey gelato, it's all mine. ( The honey from their bees is also swoon worthy.)

A great orchard to go with your friends/family. A must see in the area of Hudson Valley. What a cool place. The food here is a la Italian and has a wonderful selection. Check out menu. The gift shop is divine. The staff is very competent. You order your selections and the staff brings it to your table. Pet friendly, they cater to larger gatherings. We went there to eat dinner and were rather impressed for an orchard.

Cozy, casual and delicious restaurant serving amazing pizza and locally produced cider from their orchard. This place was recommended to me to visit and it exceeded my expectations. We ordered roasted potatoes, kale salad and margarita pizza. It was very delicious and pizza was really great! I also loved their recommendations for cider, we ended up buying a bottle there. They have some of their produce there . I picked up raspberry and apple jams.

Came here hoping for good food based on review. It was a bit disappointing. Pizza came out quick. But the spaghetti took so long and it was flavorless with too much salt. Nice to hangout with the dogs. But besides that the food was not that good.

    Our pies..really?

As much as I love to support this local establishment and the food, I have to say that I'm really disappointed with the quality of the pizzas now. How thin and paltry can you get? Thank goodness we got two pizzas for the two of us . The pizzas were so thin, poorly put together, and poorly presented. The sauce had a lovely flavor for sure. But they could have afforded a little more dough, sauce and cheese for $20 bucks. $40 total. Very disappointed. Feeling ripped off. Come on WestWind!

Orchards, cideries, vineyards... oh my! With COVID still afoot, you can expect a lot of check-ins from me at these kinds of places as the weather turns to chill. Two friends in my quarantine pod and I did a weekend away in the Hudson Valley to celebrate my birthday and LDW. We trekked up to here to try something new and enjoyed our ciders and bites. I had the raspberry cider which was delicious, and also tasted my friends Gold Rush, which was superb, a bottle of each coming home with me, For bites we had the kale salad (sans onion), the Margherita pizza, and the fior di zucchini pizza (sans anchovy), and we left totally happy and relaxed, which doesn't come easy these days. They also have a cute little store with some local produce, local honey, apparel, and seasonal stuff. You pay at the bar for it, be honest! Two very small things that clearly don't knock the rating a bit: - they only have port-a-potties -- come prepared for that -- I wish they had 12 oz bottles of their stuff!

It's been incredible to watch how much they've grown and expanded over the years. As someone who lives nearby, it's nice to see a local place become such a popular destination. Today, they offer seasonal events, live music, lawn games, expanded tasting spaces, food trucks, and even the Tree House experience, which I've done a couple of times and really enjoyed. The ciders are consistently delicious, and the food trucks always offer great options. My favorite time to visit is definitely the fall. Sitting by the fire pits with a fresh cider and warm cider doughnuts is hard to beat. That said, weekends can get extremely busy, so I usually recommend visiting during the week if you want a more relaxed experience. The only downside, in my opinion, is that it's become very crowded. When the tour buses arrive, the atmosphere can start to feel more like a tourist attraction than the laid-back orchard it once was. I think limiting attendance a bit during peak times would create a more enjoyable experience for everyone. I'm also not a big fan of having to rent the sidelines, as it adds to that commercialized feel instead of the relaxed winery atmosphere that many people are looking for. Overall, it's still one of my favorite places to gather with friends and family. The beautiful setting, excellent ciders, seasonal activities, and welcoming atmosphere keep us coming back year after year.

"Wild" is just what the name says: foraged apples, never twice the same flavor profile year to year. Absolutely outstanding, so a bottle came home with me. A local in line ahead of me said their kitchen was slow, so I didn't attempt food. Really nice location, old coal yard or some such, very vibey, and pleasantly situated in a cute little town. The servers were super nice and engaged, which is always a treat.
