When in an unfamiliar town, you never know what you'll really get when searching for great pizza, but YELP steered us here. This was a "wow," so surprised at how good this pizza is. If you like thin crust, this is the place. read more

I tried Cancelliere Pizzeria on the recommendation of my brother in law while we were visiting Kerhonkson and it blew me away. We ordered two pizzas with each side a different type of pizza. I ordered the CBR (Chicken Bacon Ranch) and the Chicken Parm pizza on one and Red Hawaiian and Brooklyn on the other. All were great but the CBR and the Chicken were absolutely spectacular. The thin crust is cooked to perfection--crispy, light, and structured just right. Every single topping tasted incredibly fresh, creating an amazing balance of flavors that truly sets this place apart. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is fantastic. The owners were welcoming, warm, and so much fun to talk to. They clearly care about their craft and their customers. I am seriously impressed and will definitely be back when I next visit. It is easily the best pizza around for the very best price. read more

The pizza is very good.I really like the white pie. The service is always good. And his prices are very fair.

Pizza was amazing!!!! Coming from us who are from long island and queens. The owner was great. We chatted with him while we ate. So glad we found this plane on yelp. read more

Excellent pizza! Staff was friendly and the place was quiet. Me and my girlfriend ate a whole pie by ourselves. read more

Cancelliere Pizzeria - Margarita pizza - Pizza Near Me - Kerhonkson, New York

We usually order the Italians but pizza is also very good. Also appreciate the friendly service.

We were staying at the campground nearby and wanted 'real' NYC style pizza. We stopped in my girlfriend and I each had a slice; buffalo chicken for me, pepperoni for her. The pizza was delicious! I would have eaten it much fast if the staff hadn't been so friendly - we spoke for almost a half hour while they gave us tips on the area. The pizza was so good we got a whole pie for dinner that night; the 'everything' pizza this time. It was so delicious we got another on our way out of town. Whenever we're in the area, this will be our go-to pizza place!!! read more

Cancelliere Pizzeria - 18" everything pizza - Pizza Near Me - Kerhonkson, New York

We came in right before they closed with a crazy toddler and crying baby (sorry) and they were SO nice about it. The food came out super quick too, will definitely be back read more

We came in last night about an hour before closing time. Friendly guy making our pizza (I think the owner). We talked about Vegas and poker while we waited for our pizza. When we got home we had our pizza. It was good! If I lived in the area I would frequent this pizzeria. Highly suggest coming here. Very clean restaurant. Lots of cool photos on the walls. read more

We love Cancelliere's pizza! And the square Sicilian is my all time favorite! When we come in from California we always make sure we get some! read more

I go to this pizza shop fairly often. The pizza isn't bad but they're really cheap on the toppings.

Order wings and pizza and was disappointed. The wings were huge which was nice but they were soggy and didn't seem to be fried long enough or properly. The pizza was just mediocre, nothing that would make me want to come back. read more

I guess you need to know what you want or just order a basic pizza. No real menu. No frills. Feels like you need to know the owner to "fit in" and get what you want. The guy behind the counter has no people skills whatsoever. But I wasn't looking for people skills. The dough was amazing. Just the right amount of chewy. The pepperoni is oily. The sausage has a unique flavor. Could have used more sauce. My pizza was lacking. $27 for one medium sausage and one medium pep. Don't know if I'll go back. I'll try other pizza joints around. read more

Amazing Pizza and a whopper of a calzone. Phenomenal flavor in every bite. Great service. Quick and clean. read more

Cancelliere Pizzeria - Menu - Pizza Near Me - Kerhonkson, New York

It's not the most mind-blowing pie but it's solid. I'll say this- when I paid with my credit card the guy at the cash swiped it then cleaned his hands with sanitizer. That's a lot more care than I've seen ANY merchants in the area show. It tells me he cares about his business and his community. I'd go back. read more

Went there once and will never go back. Looked too old n not appealing. The food wasn't even all that. I'm from Brooklyn n been in bad pizza shops but this was one was gross read more

The pizza is really good taste great and is well cooked. Fair prices. To bad the owners attitude is crap. He is very rude he needs to work on his people skills even if you don't like it. FAKE IT THAT'S YOUR JOB CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you don't mind good pizza with a crappy attitude stop in. read more

Delicious pizza and hot hero sandwiches. Everything seems homemade. Real, fresh eggplant on the eggplant parm sandwich. The size of this sandwich is huge! Delicious sauce. Stopped in by chance during a local visit. Clean restaurant and pizzas are being stretched behind the counter. I'd recommend this place to anyone who likes good NY pizza and hero sandwiches! read more

Cancelliere Pizzeria - a boy eating a large sub sandwich - Pizza Near Me - Kerhonkson, New York

There is nothing much in the Accord area, so if you want to stay local this is solid pizza. It's a bit oily, but as a native Brooklynite it's a real option. Brought beer in and watched a basketball game. read more

I've loved the pizza here for a very long time! Their pepperoni pizza is especially good. It might be a little saucy for some people, but it's perfect for me. Their Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches are rather pricey though. Also, I really miss the fighting arcade games they used to have in the back. It's a shame those are gone. If you go, be aware that the parking lot does have a rather steep hill which opens onto Route 209. I've personally never had an issue with the owner or any of the staff there. They do have a wide selection of sodas there, all cooled, but I don't remember if they have alcohol or not. A good pizza place all around! read more

Amazing. Just simple, perfect NY pizza. We ordered a large with pepperoni and extra cheese. The crust was the perfect combination of chewy and crispy, the cheese bubbly and squeaky, and the sauce was so tasty. The atmosphere is casual and simple, I could tell the real focus was on the pizza, which is what matters when you want GOOD pizza! read more

I've been coming here for four years best place around. Staff is excellent and fast service definitely recommend!

I have lived in this area for a very long time and have been to this place many times. Over the years I have seen portions get smaller and smaller. A large chef's salad become a small but not the price. I ordered a hero with lettuce and tomatoes, I received ONE piece of lettuce and TWO paper thin sliced tomatoes. It certainly seems as if they love YOUR money but do not care if you are satisfied with your purchase. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. read more

Order an extra cheese pizza. Picked it up it smelled burnt. Opened the box the cheese was all black and crispy. The crust was blackened. The owner explained that he had to cook it longer because of the extra cheese. He sure did cook it longer - extra longer. I like my cheese melted but not crispy. read more

Love coming here!! The pizza is great and so much better than troys!!! Yuck! I used to go to Troy's but I think they have gone down hill over the years. They are usually busy when I come here but they are always pretty fast getting orders out. read more

Randomly stopped in with large family party. Very friendly and cozy atmosphere. We sat and enjoyed pizzas, salads, and chicken parm subs. All well made. NYC quality pizza! Kids all loved the spaghettis and meatballs. We split regular portions (even most adults), as very generous. Comfortable, family style, italian pizzeria. read more
