I now know why this place got 5 stars Such a beautiful time with the family. Babies and toddlers running all around, people so friendly and all the beer. I mean all the beer tastes Amazing! They had some flowers that were pick your own so we randomly did that and enjoyed our time here!

Great space and comfortable beer garden.

Like if a 2000's indie film came to life as a brewery. Delightful, quirky, laidback and gives you…read morefeel-good vibes. Nothing grandiose here, just good people and good beer. Small tasting room with wooden tables and benches, high ceilings and lots of natural light on the all white walls. 8 beers on tap. They don't do flights but will do half pours. Between my girlfriend and I, we tried most of the menu. To me the two standouts were the Schwarzbier (4.9% black lager) and the Co+lab (4.2% English ESB). Both were smooth and flavorful with a slight lingering bitterness. Low ABV makes them both quite quaffable, as they describe one of their other beers. We're from NJ where breweries are only allowed to serve the beer they brew on site and nothing else, so seeing food, wine, and cocktails on the menu was a novelty for us. We didn't try anything besides the beer, but there were some impressive offerings including a penicillin cocktail, and Knackwurst, oysters, and a variety of pizza. Overall a cool spot that we would definitely come back to if we're in the area again.

The brewing equipment was right out in the open, behind the ordering counter, and there were a good deal of wooden tables in the front. The high ceilings and white walls really opened up the place and its brightness made for a festive atmosphere. The staff was very nice and clearly passionate about the business. After a few small tastes of the beers on tap, we each settled on a pint. My favorites were the Marzen, which was like a light and crisp Oktoberfest, and the Rauchbier, which possessed an unique smokiness. We also shared a soft Pretzel, which was the best we had ever had! Its sourdough interior was made from a locally-sourced flour, and its exterior had a rich, brew-inspired coating. It was served with a creamy, salted butter that was divine. We did not try one of their many creative pizzas that had been cooked in their stone oven, but they looked and smelled spectacular! Kingston Standard was an amazing brewery with great beers and delicious food.

Went to a wedding at this gem. It's a well done remodeled farmstead in Staatsburg NY a short…read moredistance from the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge. The atmosphere was very rustic, a lot of aged timber. The facility is quite clean, and the food was fantastic. Very intimate and romantic. It is a bit small, perhaps room for 90 max. The arrangements for the wedding were split between two separate buildings, a small bar and the barn which served as a hall. I would have given 5 stars, but for the following complaints. Take into consideration that this business opened recently, and have to work some kinks out, which shouldn't be too difficult to overcome. The barn was cold. VERY cold. The staff were very accommodating offering space heaters, but they need to find a more sustainable heat source. There was a Nor'easter with high winds and rain which didn't help matters. The short walk between the barn/bar was over grass. With the before mentioned Nor'easter, the grassy area turned very muddy. Again, the staff did their best and eventually put hay down. Lastly, the water in the bathrooms left a strong sulfur odor on your hands. Perhaps a better water softener could help. I'm sure once the bugs are worked out, it will be remarkable. Given the shortcomings, we still had a great time.

We were in Rhinebeck for a quick weekend getaway. It was a bit dreary weather wise but the town…read moreitself is on the quaint side and very quiet and clean. We made reservations to have dinner here and the food was phenomenal. I do recommend making a reservation because it appears to be quite popular as an eatery. Ambiance was nice, a little on the louder side as it filled up quickly but not loud enough where you can't hear the person or people you're with. We had just eaten a large lunch at a BBQ place so I wasn't particularly hungry. I got the PEI mussels which were fresh and delicious and came with more mussels than I was anticipating for a starter dish. My husband got the pappardelle which he enjoyed thoroughly. I think we were both so full than we declined dessert. I believe they're altered their business a bit and changed it to cater to more private events so unfortunately if you haven't had the chance to try it you may not be able to for the remained of 2024. Hopefully in 2025 they return to being a restaurant where people can enjoy it once more.

We had a really nice brunch at this charming Rhinebeck restaurant. We have friends who are…read moreregulars, so we got to meet Fletcher, the manager- great guy. The restaurant has a great vibe and everything, down to the playlist, was on point. The proximity to the CIA shines through in this restaurant. The service is a cut above the other local restaurants that we ate at. Many things are made on the premises. A lot of the baked goods, etc.. They even butcher a lot of their own meat! The coffee, bread and butter were excellent. I really enjoyed my chorizo scramble. My wife liked, but didn't love her omelette. The dish was prepared properly. It was more of a matter of her palate not coinciding with the chef's. The french fries were the platonic ideal of frites and the salad was excellent. I'm pretty sure that we will hit the fifth star when we return to this cool place.
