Sincerely a wonderful place! Loved the ambience and our bartender, Josiah, was as kind as kind could be. We weren't there for a meal, but everything served around us looked scrumptious, and diners looked very happy!

Another great stop and no complaints Always a great choice. I always tell everyone I know about this place

The place is very cozy and charming. We ordered boneless chicken wings (Honey and Sriracha), buffalo chicken wings, spaghetti and meatballs and chicken tenders and fries. The chicken wings with blue cheese was absolutely delicious. The pizza was a little too tangy but still tasty. Service was quick and the staff were very friendly. Overall a great meal and good experience.

Quick weekend trip to upstate to hike Kaaterskill Falls, Rip Van Winkle Brewery is a sweet surprise nearby! The place was packed on a Saturday night, and after having the food, I understood why. I ordered the arugula salad, Detroit style pizza (pepperoni), cider and wings to go. It was a lot of food! I had full intention of getting the pretzel which I heard is one of the best things here. My favorite was the pizza; I've never had Detroit style pizza and theirs did not disappoint!! The vibe was fun and down to earth and the servers were prompt and attentive. It was the perfect spot for grub right after hiking. Would absolutely recommend this place again as the service was top notch, and they were thoughtful when packing my to go order. This is one place not to be missed while in Catskill, NY

This place was a small place near Catskills so we decided to come and try it out. The pizza was better than I expected. The classic margherita pizza was much better than the special one, but loved the cheese pull on these choices. The inside was nice and rustic and the staff was great in explaining things to us lot of rowdy boys (kidding, we were pretty much the most boring table there). I liked that they had the pitcher offer for beer so we tried it out to share for the table. Also loved how they left the stand with the pizza so we didn't have to make room on the table. That was actually something we never saw in the DC area.

For around 25 years, I've been eating Angela's pizza. I don't know when it happened, but I just looked around and: 1. Angela's became a brewpub called Rip Van Winkle. 2. The world went and got itself in a big damn hurry. My mom lives down the street, and Rip Van Winkle is always a good option. I've eaten in dozens of times, and taken out far, far more. They are a local institution, and it's not surprising that they are quite busy on Fridays and Saturdays, with a lot of folks coming to just pick up beer to go (it's quality stuff). I can report that the pizza is still the same, and still good. It's not the thin crust pie that I usually favor back in Brooklyn, but just about the best version of upstate pizza. Throw pepperoni and mushrooms (real, not canned which is always a plus) on top, and it'll satisfy that craving you're having. The menu also boasts just about everything you'd want in terms of bar food (wings, burgers, fried stuff), plus a lot of Italian favorites (chicken parm, lasagna, panini, meatballs). It's all solid, and my go-tos are usually the penne alla vodka, the arugula salad, and the Salmon Candita (banging). My mom loves the ultra garlicky broccoli rabe too, so that's often coming on the side. Portions are big, the food is fresh, prepared by the family, and served by an army of local kids. There's something for everyone. Beware though, like just about any other restaurant food, it's going to taste better in-house. We dine in when we can (the place has been updated nicely, and it's super welcoming with a view of the beer tanks from the dining room), but sometimes it's just easier to take it home. Last time we took food out, the wings were less than crisp and everything was all smushed against the sides of the takeout boxes. The first part is on them, but the second was because I had to slam on the brakes to save a squirrel's life. Not Rip Van Winkle's fault, I don't think.

Visited the rip van winkle brewery for lunch, the wings were delicious they came out crispy sauced just right. One thing I noticed was there was only 2 drums in the order. Their blue cheese was exactly what I was looking for with the crumbles throughout. And they always have good beer on tap. All together these wings are rated a 7.0 on the scale with the blue cheese at 8.4.

What a great experience. We hostess was super sweet and accommodating from the moment we walked inside. We had been driving home all day from Canada and were super hungry. Our server Kierstin was exceptional. My daughter and I sat at a table waiting for friends but ate while we waited and she was extremely attentive, despite the lunch rush and them being nearly full. She was quick with refills and let me taste the beer I wanted before ordering a glass. When our friends got there later on she pushed tables together for us and made sure we were taken care of. We had leftover pizza and she boxed it up for us and put it in the back by the oven to get out of our way and keep warm. 10/10 an amazing server. Not to mention the food was amazing. Our Margherita pizza was delish and my salad was sooooo yummy! If we're ever in the area we would absolutely come back.

We stopped by today for drinks and lunch after a hike in the Catskills. The service was friendly and efficient. We all enjoy our drinks and meals! It was a great please to unwind after being outside all day.

We were not disappointed. We were seated promptly by our lovely hostess, and Shaun immediately came over to recite specials and to take our orders. He was attentive and we knew we were in good hands! We started with the Dr. Fox Cocktail: Angostura bitters, Bulleit Rye, Apple Liqueur, Dry Curacao, and Sweet Vermouth, which was perfect. It was accompanied by a hummus trio to spread on the bread. There was also a delicious foccacio. Next we were served a perfect salad, delicately dressed, and what made the salad so delightful was that the lettuce was torn into manageable pieces. A pet peeve of mine is large lettuce leaves that are difficult to wrangle, and this was not the case here. There were also tiny bits of cauliflower that gave the salad a nice texture and crunch.  I had the Stuffed Artichoke and my husband had Shrimp Gamberi on an Arugula salad. Both were substantial and beautifully seasoned. We had two glasses of an Argentine Tomero Malbec. It was a generous pour. For the main course, I had Polla al Limone (Lemon Chicken) over spinach. A simple dish done well. My husband had the Halibut special, a classic Mediterranean baked halibut with tomatoes, capers, and olives. So good that he finished it all...a rarity for him. (The halibut was pricey and it would be appreciated if the price was mentioned when the specials were gone over. Perhaps we should have asked.) We finished with a Sorbetto al Lampone, a tart raspberry sorbet in a dark chocolate shell and sliced.  And as we left, our sweet hostess brought over Lucianno, the most adorable puppy, to send us off with puppy kisses! We definitely will be back...especially for the wild boar ragu over pappadelles. One nitpicking observation. The entrance to the restaurant was a tad shabby. We mistook it for the service entrance. It needs to be spruced up to match the superb food inside!

Usually I like to pick what dishes are considered popular on Beli but I really wanted to try them, they're just too hot and not very satisfying to kick off your palate. The bread was okay, a little (very) messy and the hummus trio was cute but not necessary or particularly tasty. The pollo al limone and gamberoni e fagioli were good, a little dry but not a deal breaker. Service was nice, the place is pretty casual so I would recommend for a regular casual date night, it's not fine dining--the experience was nice but not luxurious. What I mean is it's cozy and inviting, not elegant and stuffy. Cheers!

Our table was in the same room as the bar but next to the fireplace. The bar doesn't have actual seating - they have tables in front of it which is nice and keeps the intimate, moody quiet vibe. It definitely had a romantic vibe with the fire, the lighting and lots of flowers throughout hanging from the ceiling. My only complaint is that there was a table with kids who were pretty noisy in the beginning. Not exactly what I was expecting for my Valentine's Day dinner but that's what I get for an early dinner! The food was excellent overall. We had a sense of what we wanted but then the server came over and told us the specials which threw us for a loop! I was dead set on getting pasta because Feast & Floret is known for their homemade pasta but we ended up ordering a few different plates: Quail Special - This was my first time ever having quail. The plate came out with 2 whole birds and to say I wasn't nervous would be a lie. It was a little salty (not sure if maybe it should be) but tender and delicious. It came with creamed Kale and nuts. Chilled Beets with Mint - Weird having with a hot meal but still so good. Butternut Squash Arancini -- A must try. You can taste a hint of butternut squash. It wasn't too overpowering. Affogato - The simplest dessert on the menu but worth it. Regarding drinks, try their Honey Old Fashioned. I'm not a whiskey drinker but always try my girlfriend's drink when we go out. Their Honey Old Fashioned was so good that it made me want to order one for myself! Feast & Floret also sells their own honey. Before we left to get to the show, I had asked about making our own bouquet. Grace, the florist, allowed us to pick what we liked and she arranged our bouquet

They still had the nerve to charge us $30 just for the "privilege" of having it in the building. When we spoke to the manager about the 10% surcharge, he acted like we were the problem and talked about how they are trying to make a living.
