Best service! Great atmosphere! Easy-going vibe! Amazing food! Perfect stop for after the mountain!

Food was delicious, atmosphere was 10/10- just what you want after the mountain! Service was great.

After a big day of snowboarding a local guy on the chairlift told us about Ronnie's for burgers and beers so we had to check it out. Way better than the $13 bowl of chili in the cafeteria at the base of the mountain. Server was sweet, beers cold and fizzy. I got the Bleu Burger, amazing and fries are on point !! Thanks !! Highly recommend

chicken wings, fries, salad and salad

One of the most accommodating, friendly, cozy places we've been in years. Stopped in late on a Friday night as we arrived to Hunter Mt for snowboarding, thrilled that they were still serving food. We would have been happy with some mediocre bites - but the food was fantastic! We had a fresh salad, tasty fries and outstanding wings. The bartender was absolutely fantastic. We will definitely be back (ignore the negative nonsense in other comments).

Little R&R plus a couple of cold ones!!!!

Definitely a dive bar, but the hazy IPA was solid. Everything else was about what you'd expect from a dive bar.

But several awkward minutes passed and another party came inside before anyone greeted and escorted us to a table. Oddly, a runner walked by the entrance a few times but didn't acknowledge us and seemed to avoid eye contact. Prices were were a hair higher than expected, but thankfully the portions were filling. I went with the tavern steak sandwich ($22). The fries were the steak kind but not too fat and wedge-y. There was a totally reasonable amount of Muenster and steak, and I found that the sandwich didn't really need the accompanying steak sauce. The mac & cheese ($14) was a delightful appetizer made with a whopping five different cheeses! Last Chance mentions both antiques and cheese in its name so we had to investigate both. Instead of a separate shop, the antiques are all around the restaurant, and our server said some are for sale and some belong to the owner's private collection but he seems possibly open to offers. The cheese and gifts are in an area on the other side of the bar, with the cheese behind a counter. I thought the cheese collection would be larger and have more NY options, but it was still a solid selection. If you plan on purchasing any candy or other treats after your meal, just let your server know so you can take your bill over there.

I honestly could've eaten two in one sitting because it was that delicious. The coffee was just alright. My daughter enjoyed her iced tea, but I personally like my drinks on the sweeter side, and it didn't quite hit the mark for me. The sandwiches were good, but they didn't really stand out. I think adding some type of spread or sauce would have elevated the flavors. The sourdough bread was really good--light and airy--and the combination of fried egg, spinach, and cheese paired nicely together. My daughter's egg sandwich, however, was a little bland. Overall, it's a very cute café with both indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. The only downside was that the bathroom was a little dirty. People really need to learn how to use the toilet properly or clean up after themselves!

The service was fantastic. The owner/chef came by to check in with us. Everything came out super fast. Reasonably priced, especially compared to the area. Very casual relaxed vibe. The star was the sugar shack mac and cheese (recommended to us). It was maple syrup, brown sugar crumble and bacon with mac and cheese. Definitely unique and well balanced. It's quite sweet and savory but super unique. The chicken tenders were some of the most flavorful fresh ones I've ever had. Like you think chicken tenders are basic but this was incredible. Also thanks to the staff for letting us do a side of hush puppies (it was only part of the Friday fish special). The shrimp basket and fries was a large portion and delicious. Love that you can get unlimited sauces for the food at $.31 cents a sauce. Alcohol is served and reasonably priced. Loved the non alcoholic fresh drinks. Husband had an Arnold Palmer (N/A) that was made fresh. We'll be talking about this meal for a long time.

Walking in we were seated promptly though we immediately noticed that the interior was extremely dark. Not a big deal but worth flagging for older folks who might have a hard time reading. Our server was friendly and relatively attentive and walked us through the menu. We started off with some classics including their bread and butter (which was tasty and delicious) and ordered their P.E.I Mussels ($19) along with their Fried Brussels Sprouts ($15) to share. The portions were quite large for everything (great if you're in a larger party) but we immediately noticed that the mussels they served seemed a bit off. Many of them were not opened all the way (a sign that they might not be the freshest or recently passed) and had a bit of a fishy taste to them. We ended up not finishing them and flagged them to our waiter. The other items, including the 14oz Ribeye ($43) and baby back ribs ($28) were better, though a bit one-note. The bay back ribs in particular were extremely saucy and the corn bread was dry and a bit tough to eat. I had to use a knife to split it apart as it kept crumbling every time I used a fork. Regardless, it seems like a popular spot for a reason and perhaps we just went during more of an off-night. I'd still recommend checking it out but avoiding the mussels if you go.
