You get to see the entire brewery and the equipment they operate with, and there's also a good amount of seating at the front for after the tour. There's also an area where you can look at Sake for sale and buy to take home. Overall, it was a very fun and educational experience, and I would definitely recommend if you're into learning more about Sake!

The setup started a little late, so we had to wait a while for our rice balls, but we ordered the sampler and it was worth the wait. The presentation was adorable and visually beautiful, with the onigiri decorated with flowers. While we waited, we decided to get a table and share a sake flight along with some sushi made fresh by the sushi chef. The sushi was delicious, and we really enjoyed the sake flight as well. It was interesting to notice how different the sakes tasted before eating compared with after having some food. My son and I also explored the gallery upstairs, where we could see some of the vats used to make the sake. The entire space is beautiful--high ceilings, light wood, and a bright, modern feel. Service was attentive overall. Our server initially seemed a little dismissive when she realized we were there for the pop-up, but she became much friendlier once we got a table. From there, everyone was very attentive. I especially appreciated that they brought my son water in a plastic cup shaped like a stemless wine glass so he didn't feel left out while we had our sake flight. Such a cute and thoughtful touch! The sushi chef mentioned Dassai Blue hosts different pop-ups, including ramen on occasion, so we'll definitely keep an eye out for those. Then at 7:45pm, we went into the reception pavilion. The menu consisted of a salad as first course, a duet plate of salmon and beef short rib for entree, and dessert. The summer citrus salmon with the multi grain pilaf was very good. After first dance, father and daughter dance, mother and son dance, and speeches, the DJ told us to step outside. After a few minutes, the sky exploded with light. It was a beautiful fireworks display from the hillside. The bathrooms were stocked with essentials in the toiletry baskets. Red Maple Vineyard offers a rustic barn and reception pavilion, massive green grounds, and a beautiful garden.

The man singing and playing the guitar and keyboard had a fun personality and clearly wrote many of his songs. This ever-talented man, after one of his songs, thanked us for coming out and shared that he is the owner of the farm and brewery and that we were experiencing the fruits of 13 years of work by him and his wife. How incredible! Not only is this a beautiful story of a family living the dream, it also made me want to return and spend more time there. There are plenty of chairs and picnic tables to sit at while enjoying your beverages and the music, but we saw an older couple bring their own chairs, which we thought was a good idea. In addition to the by-owner music, they have a variety of board games available to play, along with several bags sets. It's also a dog-friendly spot.
