Sugar-topped Bread (El Volcan) 5.0/5.0: Searching the internet for Mexican bread descriptions and comparing it to the what I purchased, I believe what I bought was a El Volcan bread. It had a slightly crumbly and dry scone-like texture. Its flavor was quite interesting, too, having a distinct brown sugar like taste, which was contrasted by the topping of white sugar on top.
