No samples, too expensive

We've come here multiple times and each time we have been met with rudeness. Once there was a group of us with three different couples. We asked to taste a flavor and were told we were only able to taste three flavors for our whole group! Each couple spent over $20 and this place could only allow each couple to taste one flavor! Today, I brought my grandson here and he asked to taste a flavor. The lady rudely said they were running low on paletas and couldn't give samples. At least say it nicely. Is this business hurting financially or are they just rude? Definitely done giving this business the benefit of the doubt. Will not be coming back.

Very good and tasty paleta the best I've had will definitely be back very very soon and staff was very helpful

Love love this place. Hazelnut crunch, fully dipped in milk chocolate topped with heath and almonds. Horchata half dipped in milk chocolate. They never skimp on toppings or chocolate. The guy who works here is so nice, very hard working and always welcoming.

It's been some years since I visited a Paleta Bar location. The worker looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for a milkshake with a paleta as a garnish. She said they don't do that. When I told her I was able to get that before, she gave me an attitude. Obviously, she's new bc that was an item on their menu and I was able to order that some years ago at one of their other locations. I ended up just getting a pistachio milkshake and only came in one size. My husband just got a plain lime paleta, no toppings. For just the 2 items, our total was over $13, a bit pricey. Earlier in the week, he'd gone to another Paleta Bar location where he was able to order an horchata latte from their menu but this place didn't have it. We think maybe it's b/c that place had 'cafe' in the name. Seems their menus differ across locations. I probably won't be returning to this location again. Their parking is also terrible.

The Paleta Bar has a special place in my heart. I love gourmet ice cream..I like supporting NM business...and most importantly..I'm super partial because the Paleta Bar (different branch though) was where I first met my SO..so I'm super thankful for the shop in many ways! My partner and I stopped by after our Japanese dinner night out nearby..and man...after not having non supermarket ice cream for so long during majority of COVID time...it was so satisfying to have a nice, fancy bar of your choice again. I like that the staff was so nice and helpful. She offered to get me some samples..and I did ask about some bars I had gotten at other locations too. That's when I found out each shop made their own bars and carry different combination of flavors! Nevertheless...it was so satisfying! I got some local strawberry/chocolate flavor dipped in nuts and it was amazing. So satisfying! Will go back again to any of these shops the next time I'm nearby one of them.

We just moved into the neighborhood and had spotted this place. Last night I was craving a sweet treat and decided to give it a try. I can't say enough good things about this place. Brace yourself when you get ready to order because the choices and possible combinations are endless. The shop is clean and bright and follows apl covid safety. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and expert at making your desert camera ready but also insanely delicious. Toppings are plentiful and fruit is high quality and super fresh. This will be our family's new go to for dessert and summer treats. We tried the dipped and topped paletas and also the aqua Fresca and both were outstanding.

This place brings back good childhood memories. When I was a little kid, I used to walk to the corner paleta shop in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. They had them on every block. The Paleta Bar has making delicious paletas down. From their paletas to their aqua frescas they are all delicious and so refreshing on a beautiful day. They are always so friendly and provide great service too. The way they have the place decorated and the videos they show on their TV to show everyone visiting how nice the Albuquerque area is, is so cool. Definitely worth the visit!

Great stop for a quick dessert, and this location is always quick and has great product! I'm a simple man so I just got an almond paleta with white chocolate drizzle. It definitely hit the spot without leaving me feeling too full. I was so excited for it I almost forgot about my agua fresca! The classics cucumber lime is so refreshing and tasty that it's hard for me to try any other. Perfect place to fill a sweets craving for sure!

What's great experience was visiting this place. We tried the half dipped mango paleta in chocolate and granola and was delish. They also offer coffee, fruit cups and other goodies I didn't get to try on this visit. It was definitely and overwhelming experience with all the choices to mix your palate but very enjoyable.

This place turned out to be one of my most favorite dessert spots in New Mexico! There are sooooo many options and combinations that there is a high possibility that you will totally find something you like. Don't believe me, try all the flavors and see which one is your favorite! My favorite has to be taro. It's a unique flavor that is not usually found in traditional American restaurants. Then I topped it with white chocolate and strawberries. So good! In addition, the staff is amazing! Super friendly and very patient (we felt bad for asking for several samples, but we wanted to make sure we got our favorite :p). You best believe that I will come here again!!

Paletas from this location of the Paleta Bar have always been up to standard. Which is to say mighty good on the flavor front & highly diverse with the available topping selections. Staff has been friendly & welcoming, as well as highly proficient at doling out the frozen goodies. I've also tried their aguas and found them to be refreshing and tasty. This Paleta Bar, like the other locations, is an easy recommend for a tasty dessert stop.

Yesterday was my first visit to this westside location. I'm already a fan, and I've raved about the platinum brilliance customer service Dipo and his staff provide in past reviews. This location was no different. So many choicesssssss. Don't be shy, ask for a sample if your not sure what to pick *the taro flavor is a deliciously unique flavor!* This visit I chose the avocado, half dipped in milk chocolate and smothered in pinon nuts.....SHAZAM! My sister ordered the banana, half dipped in white chocolate and smothered in pistachio nuts....BAZINGA!!!! You simply can't go wrong, the combination choices are endless, and the agua frescas are fantastico....this really is a no brainer folks. Summer's upon us, and this is the joint!

My friend snapped me a picture and said this was the first place I needed to go to once I got back in town and that's exactly what I did. Located in the riverside plaza so you already know there's open parking. First of all this place offers so many different things. Paleta, fruit cups, agua frescas, dorinachos, jerky, and elite. Anyway we came for the paleta. Did I mention you can try any flavor before you decide!? So I got banana dipped in white chocolate and rolled in pistachios and coconut. It. Was. Bomb! No joke. It was fresh and the flavor was so good. My friend got the Hazelnut crunch paleta with white chocolate, rolled in oreos and almonds he love it! Also I couldn't leave without getting the green and red chile beef jerky and to my surprise it came with a free agua fresca, I got half watermelon and blueberry limeade. It was great so delicious! The servers were so nice and helpful also the place was spotless. We saw the owner (who's fine af) come from next door (spring rollin) and help them out with orders and pick up trash off the floor. This is a great establishment. *Just a random thought they should get their liquor license and incorporate alcohol paletas. Add shots to the agua frescas and stay open late for adults*

I had never been to the Burque Bakehouse until very recently because I was so introverted, didn't…read morelike crowd...and just didn't want to wait in a long line and find parking in such a small space. Until, one day, I stopped by this place early on a weekday out of whim because my appointment got slightly postponed...so I figured a weekday early morning wouldn't be a bad time to check this place out at all..and I was 100% sure I made the right decision! There was just one or two persons in front of me! I really liked how unique the pastries/baked goods at The Burque Bakehouses were! Everything looked so unique and I honestly had a hard time choosing what I wanted. I ended up with a mix of savory and sweet patries...but, to be honest, I thought the savory ones did not compare to the sweet ones at all! So, next time, I would probably lean in more on the sweet pastries (which weren't too sweet at all)! The place could be crowded and the parking spaces seemed a little limited...so weigh your factors on the day/time you wanted to stop by this place. There was no place to get properly seated indoors. You pretty much line up, place your orders, pay and wait for staff to assemble your order...and take your food somewhere to eat. There were a couple stools to sit there..but this place may be best if you just grab items to go!

While vacationing in New Mexico the family wanted to stop by for some baked goods and I was looking…read moreforward to it. We ended up ordering a Boston crème muffin, and some cookies. Given that all the locals also recommended it I had high expectations. I tried the two cookies and sadly they looked like they were going to be soft cookies but they were pretty hard. I think the flavor was alright (one of them reminded me of a Mrs. Fields cookie...) but they were so dry and hard. I then tried the muffin and the inside filling tasted good but the outside (which I think had layers like a croissant) tasted burnt and somewhat dry as well. Overall, given the high price and the experience I had I honestly can't really recommend this place. I feel like it's more hype then actually good.
