My first time here with my friend and we enjoyed ourselves. Not much seating for inside eating but that really doesn't bother me, just making others aware. The man who took our order was very nice, he got a kick out of my phone case and was very pleasant to speak with. We ordered 8 tacos in total I believe it came out to $22 and some change. The sauces on the table are home made. I highly recommend the brown sauce it gave a whole new taste profile to the tacos. read more

From all the tacos I've enjoyed around the globe, these are my favorite!!!! I discovered The Ocoee Taco Company/Taco Truck unintentionally... I was with some friends who were staying at an AirBnb in Ocoee. We planned to get tacos in DT Orlando, but after a long day of travel, we opted for something closer. The Airbnb host recommended the truck, and after a quick Yelp search (affirmed by stellar reviews & mouth-watering photos), we excited made the short drive out. Julia, the owner, is so friendly & welcoming! She advised our orders & chatted with us about our trip. She even made sure that my tacos were made vegan. Although not hungry after the first round, we ordered more tacos because they were so good. A few days later, we visited the shop! So many exciting options (drinks, dips, meals) & funny memes on the TV. I recommend the salsa with avocado chunks. I've since visited the shop many times (even though I live 40 minutes away) & have enjoyed experiencing the community that Julia & her husband have created. The community loves them, and & they know their guests well. Little pricey for tacos and burritos. Usually chips and salsa are a given at taco joints but here they are extra. No big deal just wanted to let others know. We tried the steak burrito, pork quesadilla and keto tacos. The burrito was good a little small but tasty. The quesadilla was typical size and served with a side of shredded lettuce, tomatoes and a touch of sour cream drizzle. But the the hot sauces were on point and were great to give the dishes added flavor. As for the keto taco the concept is great. Using cheese instead of tortillas is a win in my book but the meats I tried were pretty dry especially the chicken. The best taco was the veggie one topped with their spicy green hot sauce. Now we only tried a couple menu items so maybe we just picked thw wrong meats. I do have to say they stayed pretty busy so they must being doing something right. read more

5 stars for an incredible dinner. Upon walking in I was welcomed by the very friendly owner, she was so sweet and explained the menu items to us. The interior felt so home-y (is that a word?!) it's small but has plenty of seating inside and outside. I ordered the carnitas and chicken tacos. DELICIOUS. Just enough filling. On the way back from Disney a couple of weekends ago my sister, my niece and I visited The Ocoee Taco Company. They had been there several times but I had not. The food was excellent and was prepared very quickly. I got the carnitas tacos. They were small but very, very good. Their salsa was incredible. I would definitely go back. Fresh and flavorful! We have had our eye on OTC for a few years now and finally had the chance to stop in. They have fresh salsa with chopped avocado- perfect touch. This place is such an awesome hole in the wall! Easy to miss since it's pretty small and there isn't a giant sign outside. You know you're at the right place when you see a giant chair outside. Lol. It's on a pretty big lot, but parking spots are limited. Inside only has like 4 or 5 tables, but they have an outside patio. (Keep in mind, its right next to some train tracks.) The food was amazing! Boyfriend and I ordered some tortas, a few tacos, chips and guac, and he got a burritas. Everything was amazing! Definitely tasted fresh and authentic. We also got horchata- which was AMAZING. So my husband found this little gem after we both got fed up of the texmex placed near us . WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!!!! First of all this place feels more like home. The staff was so friendly and helpful. My husband ordered a quesadilla, rice and beans. I ordered a breakfast burrito. Before our food arrived they sent out a thick sliced bread with retried beans , cheese and tomato onion mixture. It was awesome I don't even like refried beans but this smelled and looked so good it was worth it. Pretty sure my hubby didn't want me to finish it his was devoured before I was halfway finished. The key to a balanced lunch is a taco in each hand. So let's start with the ambience, not very appealing, small hole in the wall, in kinda a random location BUT the food is AMAZING! Being Mexican myself, I'm rather picky when it comes to Mexican food but this place had really good taste. Steak tacos - the meat was cooked to perfection. Not overly cooked and seasoned perfectly. If you eat here you MUST order the steak tacos with the green sauce that's on the table. Marinated pork tacos (Tacos al pastor) - Very well marinated. Had great taste and the tortilla was cooked perfectly cause I hate it when places undercook the tortilla. Steak sopes (Sopes de carne asada) definitely a must order in my opinion. Had just the right amount of steak and cheese ratio. Had a small amount of portion of refined beans ( just the way I like it but some people like it with more beans. There is a huge poster menu with a variety of entrees that you can try at a very reasonable price ranging from $3++ that will guide you to what you want to order. This place is a bit on the smaller size with approximately 5 smaller tables and outdoor seating as well. We came around 2:00pm and it was not as packed. The food came out in within 10 minutes and everything smelled so delicious. Everything is made to order so with every bite you can tell it was made fresh. Highly recommend!! This place is small, like only 5 tables small, but the service and food makes up for the lack of space! All of their sauces are good but when they say spicy, they mean spicy! Both the green ones are my favorite. If you are getting it to go, get extra! I usually get a variety of tacos whenever I go and the pork or triple meat are my favorite. Decided to give this place a try based off the reviews and it certainly did not disappoint! The place is small but they have inside and outside seating to accommodate your party. We were greeted as soon as we walked in which is always nice. I decided to get the taco special which is 3 tacos + beans and rice + drink, tacos are small but they are packed with flavor! One of the most unique tacos I've had because they MELT the cheese on the tortilla and them add your fillings, talk about a flavor train ! After you place your order they bring you chips and salsa but this is no regular store bought salsa they make it fresh and add avocado to it so of course it makes it even better. Service was fast and the food was delicious. With my meal + My brothers which he got 4 tacos and their specially rice milk drink and was $20 which you can not bet! REAL Mexican food. Not Tex-Mex or Americanized Mexican. Very small (only 5 indoor tables) restaurant with some patio furniture outdoor tables. The outdoor furniture is padded in PVC frames so it soaks up rainwater. Many times it is SRO with people waiting for tables or take out orders. It is certainly busy and well loved. Amazing business for being in such an off the beaten path location deep in the heart of old Ocoee. Let's hope for some reinvestment so more people can enjoy the food. Very reasonably priced. Be careful, green sauce is HOT. Beef taco, fish taco, and burrito were exceptional. I wish the chips were house made but that requires more investment. Support this local establishment so it can grow and/or relocate so I can go there more often. read more

FINALLY found a great, simple Mexican style restaurant with fresh, made to order meals. First time visit around 1:30 pm Saturday and went great! Will be back. When I said no onions on my meal, she asked what about onions in the salsa...that's when I found out they would make it fresh to order which I will discuss later. The server who brought it out explained the 4 different sauces..mild to hot. As soon as a table emptied, the staff appeared to try and clean it off quickly to allow others to sit. Food: 5+ stars- Beef burrito and wife got chicken and pork and we order chips and salsa. Fresh Salsa made with avocado, tomatoes, cilantro, etc. and made without onions at my request with thick crunchy chips. Add sauces on table to your liking if desired, heated ours up. Beef burrito was pulled beef (not ground!) that was very well cooked with added tomatoes, etc. and wrapped in a fresh made tortilla. Plate presentation was excellent with sour cream, cheese, etc (see photo). Wife thought both her chicken and pork tacos were excellent but preferred pork overall. Prices were great and meals fresh Environment: 4 stars- Yes its a small place but don't despise small beginnings. For a small place works well with simple decor. Counter service order and pay when complete at counter. Parking is limited on gravel lot and just a few tables and bar seating. Does have outdoor seating also but not good for a rainy day. Clean bathrooms but could tell if packed, might be hard to get to. This place will do so well I think it will have to expand or move to a bigger place. This family run place can get quite busy, but they are always friendly and helpful, and glad you are there. They offer their version of most authentic Mexican dishes, along with a few inventions of their own. The quesotaco is a grilled tortilla with cheese melted on it, then filled with your choice of meat. There is also a version of a burrito that is enroll to being a quesadilla. The torta is a huge sandwich, enough lunch all by itself. Meat choices include several different preparations of pork, chicken and beef. The pastor is usually my favorite, but I didn't find it as rich and tasty here as some places. There are mild and hot versions of both green and red sauces, which are all tasty. Pricing is very reasonable. But the best reason to come is the sincere thank you you'll receive form the owner. read more

I don't think the guacamole is anything special. My husband ordered the sopa and a fried quesadilla. I had the green enchiladas. The food was pretty good overall. I thought everything has a ton of cheese. My enchiladas had so much cheese and not a lot of chicken. I peeled the cheese off the enchiladas toward the end. The rice and beans were pretty good. They have four different types of salsa on the tables. SERVICE (5/5): Service was great. The guy who took our order was really nice and explained the menu for us first timers. You order first and then pay at the end after you've eaten. ATMOSPHERE (3/5): The inside is very small and crammed. We had four people, and my chair kept getting bumped by people walking by. I'm not sure if it's just inconsiderate diners or because the space is truly small. (Remember, there's only five tables inside.) I took off because the floor space under the window to the kitchen had a lot of crumbs and dirt that I could see. If it's in view of customers, it should be clean. There was a recommendation to try the chips and salsa. We have never had avocado in salsa before, but this was one of the best salsa we have ever had. Found this little gem while visiting ocoee and it's safe to say I am now a regular anytime I'm on that side of town. Collectively, I've had the al pastor (pork) tacos, chips and salsa, chicken quesadilla, chicken and pork tamales, and beef tostadas. I love all of them!! Tacos are my fav and probably the cheapest thing on the menu. The chips and salsa are surprisingly expensive, close to $8. Is it something you can skip on? Yeah considering the food comes out in a timely manner. The only downfall of this place is the limited seating. Each time I've visited, it's PACKED! They have maybe 4 tables inside. The woman behind the counter (the owner, whose name I didn't catch!) Was so welcoming and kind - asking what we liked and describing items to us - it was hard to not order the whole menu!
