I bought a $44 Groupon for a stylist named Madison at The Salons @ The Greene (112 Magnolia Lane, Beavercreek) -- and I've gotten absolutely nothing but ignored. She gives out her phone number and tells you to text her and she'll respond in 48 hours. It's been over 3 days. No call. No text. No voicemail. Nothing. I've called multiple times, left messages, and followed every instruction given. Zero response. Not even the courtesy of a "Sorry, we're booked" or "Let's reschedule." Just complete silence. This is NOT how you treat paying customers. I don't even want the appointment anymore -- I want my money back. And no, I'm not accepting Groupon credit. That's not what I paid in, and I shouldn't be forced to take store credit from a place I'll never trust again. I've already contacted Groupon and plan to file complaints with BBB, WHIO, and WDTN if this isn't resolved. I've also posted to social media to warn others, because this is nothing short of stealing. I then walked around the corner and found Gentlemen's Hair Care. The door was closed, but it listed the name Janelle Freshour, along with a phone number and a website on the glass. The website was to some other hair styling business. I think it was located somewhere in Europe. It showed a total of 6 hairstyles for men. All short haircuts that you could get at Super Cuts. One of them, the "Flisar Style," showed a guy wearing a black wool watch cap. How is wearing a hat considered a hairstyle? Based on her website(s), she charges either$40 or $50, I'm not sure which. You could get the same cuts at Great Clips or Super Cuts for a fraction of that. Of course, if they botch your hair cut at Great Clips, they probably won't throw in a watch cap to hide it. But, hey, you get what you pay for.

However, when I called to schedule, not only did the lady on the phone have to put me on hold to find the answer to every question, but I was informed that I could not schedule the Remodel or any facial (as the same lady performs them all) for almost two months. I did go ahead and schedule and request to be put on the cancelation list. UPDATE: I was called for an opening within a week of being placed on the cancelation list. The woman who owns La De Da performed the facial, Christine Price, and it was incredible. I can understand why people love this place. Christine was very friendly and skillful. To begin, I was placed on a heated bed/table and a steady flow of warm steam was directed towards my face. After many different cleansers were applied and facial massages performed, the Remodeling began. It is (as I understand it) two pads which conduct a particular current which helps to strengthen the fascia in the face. The pads feel a bit like ants marching on your skin, not unpleasant but a bit odd. However, all the proof you need for this treatment is in the mirror after a session. I looked more awake and alert, and immediate scheduled another one. CONCLUSION: I still wish the wait time was less and that the front desk staff were a little more knowledgable and friendly, but the remodel facial with Christine makes the wait worth it!
