I happen to know a registered nurse so rather than wait 45 minutes to an hour to have my stitches removed, I let her do it. Upon removing the first stitch, the entire wound popped open. Fortunately it was healed underneath. Apparently they're excellent at making appointments, they're just not very good at honoring them. There was literally no place to sit in the waiting room, and some seriously old and decrepit people had to stand while they waited. I wonder if they would have honored my appointment if I had showed up 45 minutes late? Somehow I doubt it.
