I have been to numerous locations and handfuls of stylists in the area in the search for my forever stylist, and I happily found that and more at Salon Reveal. The location itself is just beautiful. Always clean and with a calming atmosphere, I always feel very welcome. The staff will ask numerous times if there's anything they can get for you, everyone is very friendly and helpful. In terms of stylists, I have had a couple appointments with just whoever was available, and I have never left disappointed, but my most recent visit prompted me to download the Yelp app just so I could rave about my awesome stylist, Becky. I walked in with a mess of very uneven dark hair, and she took me to the most beautiful shade of red for the fall. Not only did she blow me away with the masterful color and cut, but she made me feel like we had been friends for years - such a warm, welcoming, and flat out funny personality, I almost hesitate to post this review because I don't want anyone to steal her! If you're on the search for a salon in Dayton who will knock it out of the park everytime, look no further than Salon Reveal...and if you can manage to find an open appointment with Becky, she gets my absolute highest recommendation. read more

I should have written this three months ago, I just got busy. I found this place via Yelp and my boyfriend in Maryland wanting to give me a special day ...and it was very special! It was a scary endeavor indeed...color my silver locks for the first time, ever! From my first consultation and on through the actual "make-over" day and beyond, everyone has been great. I never felt rushed or ignored and everyone is friendly. The shop is simple, elegant..clean and professional, upscale without being pompous. Michael is the best! He listened to me and helped me make the right decisions for me and and my hair...the color was/is fabulous! I returned for several facial waxing services and fresh cut / color. I just can't say enough great things about all of my experiences at Salon Reveal. After five individual appts, the only bad news is... I moved out of state after my second appointment with Michael. I have every intention of planning trips home that will include a return to this excellent little shop! read more

incredible! i'm a military wife so i've been to MANY different salons in numerous states..this is by far the best salon i've ever been to. the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Michael is an amazing stylist and colorist..he takes the time to listen and offers great suggestions when choosing highlights, lowlights, cut, etc. plus, he's friendly and easy to talk to! the salon itself is modern and elegant, upscale look without the upscale attitude. and it's always very clean. they have a nice variety of products for sale but i've never felt pushed into buying anything (unlike most salons i've been to!) i highly recommend salon reveal!!!! read more

First time there and such a disappointment! The receptionist offered me water and never brought it. After waiting for 25 minutes, I asked her how much longer it would be and she said she'd go ask. She never did. I was ten minutes early but still waited for 45 minutes! Never going back again. read more

Amazing salon. I live in NYC now but always wait to get my hair done here when I come home. Very friendly staff that makes sure you are comfortable. Big city energy, but very friendly! Love the modern decor. The staff is warm and makes you feel at home. Kara is an incredible esthetician- best wax is Dayton. I've actually fallen asleep during her "Red carpet facial!" Lisa is the only nail tech who can make gel polish stay on my nails- she's so thorough and I am rough on nails. I've seen Becky, Kate and Jonie for my hair. All incredible designers- I would trust any of them with my hair! read more

I love Lydia at Salon Reveal. She gave me and amazing Red Carpet facial. Lydia was very professional and knowledgeable about my skin care needs. She spent time with me and was very through in understanding my skin type. After the facial my skin was very soft and radiant. Terrible service! I made an appointment on a Saturday morning and was told to come in for a simple blowout later that afternoon. I waited for 40 minutes! Even after I told the receptionist I had another appointment to get to so I needed to be on time with this hair appointment. She reassured me my stylist was just finishing up. I waited another 15 minutes before I got up and told her I was canceling. She already had out a card that said "sorry we were not able to accommodate you book with us again and we'll give you 25% off" this was my first time trying this salon and I will never go back. This must happen a lot for them! Just a terrible taste in my mouth! Awful. read more
