Worst service I've ever received. Called in a week advance to make 2 appointments for full sets mani/pedi. When I got there, it was clear they were understaffed and tried to convince me I only made appointments for manicures. I understand being busy and understaffed...but don't tell me I have an appointment for something and not follow through. I told them to go ahead and do my sister's mani/pedi and I'd just get a manicure to make things easier for them. I waited 45 minutes while soaking off my previous set. My sister was done with her appointment by the time I began. The man I had was aggressive and rude and made me bleed several times. Everytime I would tell him to fix something (because it wasn't what I asked for) he would loudly sigh and get more aggressive with my filing. There is NO EXCUSE to get aggressive with a customer because you don't have time - when I made an appointment a week in advance. Then upcharged me for several things I didn't ask for. Doing nails is a service - this guy needs to learn customer service skills. WORST EXPERIENCE i've ever had. Don't recommend. read more

I discovered it online and stopped by to show a picture of a design I was looking to get for an upcoming wedding and was able to book my future appointment. I did a pedicure and got a gel design done to my hands. My nails are naturally very long, but unfortunately most of them were breaking, which happens often. It's nearly impossible for me to keep them all the same length, but my nail tech did a great job making my nails all the same length and they still had nice length to them. HORRIBLE! I made an appointment with Kelly based off her yelp reviews. I specifically booked the first appointment of the day so I would not have to wait. I walked in at 10am and was met (not a warm greeting at all) by Kelly but only for her to ask my name and time of my appointment (she seemed annoyed by me walking in disrupting her pedicure she was working on) All 3 technicians including Kelly had customers. After choosing a color I sat for additional 10 mins without barely of an acknowledgement of my presence, from Kelly-a few dirty looks and glances towards my way. A man came over sat a bowl of acetone in front of me, i guess for me to dunk my hands in while I wait for kelly to complete her double-booked 10am pedicure. This should never be the way that powder dip is removed from your nails. Why would I want to just soak my hands in toxic chemicals for 20 minutes when my nails are the only area needing to be soaked! I walked out without anyone saying anything. Luckily, I called BELLA NAIL BAR that was down the street and they were able to accommodate an appointment. Bri did a wonderful job on my Dip powder manicure. With removal and new dip powder application took 50 minutes! BELLA NAIL BAR is clean, staff is very friendly, and accommodating. I will never go back to Centerville Nail Cafe- my only guess is that the reviews they have on here are fake or written by friends of the establishment. DO NOT GO HERE! I was a walk in and it seemed like this place is understaffed to welcome walk ins. Waited 45 min and the man who helped me asked if I wanted a manicure or just dip polish and I said I wanted shaping and cleaning (aka manicure) and I guess he took that to mean I didn't want a manicure. So when he started to reach for polish I mentioned that I wanted him to remove cuticles. He then began to get annoyed with me and mad that I wasn't clear enough and said that I didn't even need a manicure. I have been frequenting this family owned nail salon for 6 months to date. This isn't some huge mega salon so you get an intimate feel and get to know the staff. It has been a pleasure getting to know the owners and their family. The salon offers countless affordable services, and the color and polish options are great. I have had nothing but quality work every time I go. If anything ever happened i know they would fix it but in 6 months my nails have lasted up to a month with no issues. I have a very rambunctious disabled 3 year old and they are always so kind and accommodating. They have accepted him as a part of the salon . It's hard for a single mom like myself go to somewhere I feel safe with my kid and get great service. The other customers are so kind as well. I've seen other children share toys and even seen a customer watch a child for a mom in need of some extra hands. Now I don't mind if yall visit my spot but do me 3 favors. 1. Book an appointment in advance for the morning(small staff = large wait and I go in the evening... forbid my child distrub your me time) 2. Be kind, these people are so sweet please be sweet in return 3. Tip, I know tipping is so controversial but compared to other shops in the area they are so reasonable and do such a great job. I have been visiting Centerville Nail Cafe since my move to the area 2 years ago. I was always impressed with the service of my pedicures. Unfortunately, the ownership and management has changed within the past 6 months. I always make an appointment because my time is precious. The first appointment (after mgmt change) was made 2 weeks in advance. After management change, I was told they "were behind" and it would be at least an hour wait. I had back to back appointments so I had to leave. 2 days before leaving on vacation. Since I'd never had this happen before, I decided it must have been a fluke. I made another appointment with a 2 week notice. I walk in and was told to pick my polish and sit down. It must have been a fluke, right?! Wrong. I sat in the pedicure seat for 50 minutes waiting! Once I complained, the new manager came over to do my pedicure. He couldn't work and talk at the same time and he talked a lot! After 2.5 hours, I walk out with my pedicure. After 2 weeks it doesn't look great. I was even told I shouldn't wear my nails so short and he wouldn't make them shorter. I suppose my opinion doesn't matter. The upside is he gave me a bottle of hand lotion for the trouble, however, my time costs much more than a bottle of lotion. Unfortunately, I will be looking for a different salon. It makes me sad because I've been so happy here. read more

This is a super cute little nail place, VERY clean. The staff is kind and they do a great job. The only downside is that they have 3 employees which makes them very difficult to get into. The reason I only selected 4 stars was because their gel polish doesn't last very long, and chips pretty easily. Vinnie has done a tremendous job with my nails (I am a cancer patient survivor and had lost my most of my fingernails and my big toenails at through treatment). He and his wife and other technicians are knowledgeable and will not use products unless they promote continued nail health. I have gone from poor nail health to beautiful nails again in just one year!!! This is a huge bonus! He also takes the time to do my nails based on the season and occasion.
