ive been here twice for an eyebrow waxing, the first time was a great experience, i would have given this place 5 stars. it's soo cute in there and has such a nice theme. the girl i had was super sweet and did really well. i was excited to go back yesterday. the actual waxing itself seemed fine. but then i left and ran some errands and realized i still had wax left on my face - a little annoying but no biggie, i washed it off when i got home and it was fine. until i realized there were two small burns forming right beneath my eyebrows. they hurt when you touch them. i've never been burnt getting an eyebrow waxing before so this was a pretty bad experience, i'd recommend going elsewhere. i'm really disappointed because i really liked this place when i first went. i included a picture of the burns but it's pretty hard to see sorry i couldn't get a better one read more

I was very pleased with my first experience at Waxxpot Dayton. This was my first time having a Brazilian wax, but the staff made me feel very comfortable going into it. The staff member, Bailey, who did the wax for me did an excellent job making sure I was comfortable the entire time. She was very professional and made the process a lot smoother. I have to say the pain was very extreme for me, however, this was my first time. The process is not long, but it is painful. My first time here and it was an okay experience. I liked how my eyebrows were done but I felt there were some strays left for my lip. There was no aftercare alternative like aloe vera since i have an allergy for witch hazel. The strips did feel less abrasive at least. I went on a Friday at 12:15pm...and they were more than ready for me. They were ready at the desk for me. And, also, the room was empty, sanitized, and prepared. (The wait was zilch). Unheard of on Friday afternoons, when getting beauty treatments, ANYWHERE. It can b even harder w this Covid stuff. But, they were very timely. They were also ALL, friendly. The receptionist was friendly on the phone, when I booked my appt, just a few days prior. The staff at the desk were friendly, the day of. Brittani is the gal that did my waxing. She was experienced and sweet. And, very reassuring 2 my basket of nerves! She tried 2 keep me as calm as possible by talking to me and kinda keeping me occupied w convo, during. She was quick and efficient, too! She let me know when the most painful was done. And, when the most painful was coming. I liked that! I found it helpful. After receiving a Brazilian wax from this location, I got and still are getting clusters of hair bump breakouts I mean bad, I got a freaking boil on my butt ( like really). This is the most hair bumps I ever received in my life. I am exfoliating daily at least twice and there is no sign of improvement very uncomfortable I'm disappointed because I was so excited to get a Brazilian but now the pain I'm in I so regret it.. this has been 3 weeks ago and the bumps are still coming.... Booked a Brazilian with Miranda on their online system. Super easy to use, LOTS of time slots available for anyone's busy schedule. I showed up 15min early to my appointment and was attended to immediately (huge plus, I hate waiting) filled out my paperwork, and was taken back to my waxing room. The entire salon is brand new, extra clean, great aesthetics. I'm not new to bikini area waxing, but this was my first full Brazilian. Miranda walked me through everything and I felt super comfortable the whole time. I'm not sure if I have a high pain tolerance, but this wax was so quick and painless I couldn't believe it. In and out of the wax room within 10 minutes, no screaming, no tears, looking smooth and feeling like a million bucks. My waxer was very friendly but ultimately I wasn't happy with how my brows turned out. I reached out to speak to the manager and never received a response. It's not the first time I haven't been thrilled with the results. I left with wax on my face for the second time, and my eyebrows hardly looked different than when I came in. I honestly don't know where to start when it comes to Waxxpot, specifically the Dayton Mall location. This place is beyond amazing with its service and the quality of its staff. The facility is clean and the ladies greet you at the door. They will get you all set up at the front desk and your waxer will take you back. They are understanding of your first time and will make the experience comfortable for you. My waxer is Olivia and she is beyond amazing! I have a standing appointment with her every 4 weeks. We talk through the entire appointment and it makes everything a lot easier. She double checks to make sure everything is clear and will go back over if anything is missed. She will walk you through everything that she is doing. She ensures that you are cleaned up after the service and set to go. You are able to book again once the service is over and pay.
