Third visit to Nails on Brown. I had a gel manicure and a renewal pedicure with no polish. The nail polish went on very gloppy,looking like it was an old and thick. Additionally, the nail tech kept looking at her phone and complaining that the day was going slowly. Usually a gel manicure last three weeks. This one started chipping within the first week. The pedicure was ok, but the massage was left off my feet. My legs were weakly gone over with the stones...would not qualify as massage. My first two visits to this salon for manicures were great. After this third time, I'm finding a new nail salon that treats me as a valued client. read more

Sydnie did an incredible job on my nails! I came in because a different salon completely ruined my nails and I needed them redone. I didn't realize a gel removal had to be booked in addition to your manicure of choice, but everyone was very accommodating and helped me to choose a service that would still fit within my appointment time. My nails look and feel so much better. Definitely recommend and will be back! read more

Mani - the artists were so personable and kind but unfortunately these were my nails a couple days after my gels were done. The salon was clean and everyone was so kind just unfortunately not worth paying over 50$ for three days worth of nails. read more

Very cute place with nice staff. I found this place after searching yelp like I always do and hoped for the best. I arrived for my scheduled pedicure appointment and was immediately seated after using the hand sanitizer outside the doors and then washing my hands. The place looks very clean and I would go back. I just wish the pedicure was a tad bit better because I still have dry skin that wasn't taken off around my toes and maybe another coat would of worked so that it popped more. I used the online booking on their website and selected builder gel which is what I had on my nails. They must have overbooked because when I arrived I was told that I chose the wrong service because a refill was a separate service they provided but I thought surely they would be able to help me. I apologized for my mistake but they told me that they didn't have time for a refill. When I inquired about rescheduling they didn't have availability for the rest of the day. Then they proceeded to charge me a late cancellation fee which was immediately charged to my credit card through the online booking. I communicated I had no intention of cancelling my service and but the longer I talked with them about rescheduling, the entire salon started gawking at me and whispering. I understand that removal of gel polish at this salon involves sanding off the gel instead of the typical chemical removal process. I didn't understand that going in- I didn't read the website well. I don't necessarily like chemicals but my nails are worse off now than they were before. the technician sanded right into my natural nail with the drill. the technician kept going after I asked her to switch from drill to file, then when she did switch to file she went into natural nail anyway. I didn't see the damage until I pulled my hand away and complained. they told me that's how it's done so I guess it's either damage by chemicals stripping it off or damage by sanding it off. I've been to nails on brown twice now. Both times i was blown away by the gel mani! Both my techs were kind and fun to talk to and both delivered incredible results. I don't have a picture of my first appointment. I wish I did!! It was immaculate! (I believe it was Ashley). Today I saw Lauren and I'm so blown away with how perfect this manicure is. I love this place. It is so relaxing and they do a great job. It doesn't smell toxic like a lot of nail salons either.

I had a pedicure. The manicurist was very nice and attentive. I had the calm pedicure. It's $72.

Unfortunately we will not be back. In my opinion your make an appointment and when you come in for service they act like you are a burden. Holly did my daughters nails. She was exceptionally rude. She had my daughter bleeding. Not a good experience for us. The nail polish is not smooth our nails are bumpy. The price was high compared to other nail places considering what we received. In my opinion.. this place does a terrible job. The staff are rude, and it's obvious they would rather being doing anything but your nails. I received gel polish and not even 3 days after I had them done I already had 3 nails that were chipped. (These were supposed to be nails for my vacation too). Unfortunately the polish is not smooth and has little bubbles and bumps through it. As well as my nails not being cut straight. I also had a normal pedicure, and it looks so bad the way they were painted, and my nails are super sharp. I'm was extremely disappointed considering that I went to nail spa to have my nails painted professionally and received these results, especially considering their prices are so much higher than everyone else's in the surrounding area. Seems super pricey compared to other local salons. I work at UD, so this was a close option for me! I had Erin ( I believe?!) she is a central state student while quiet, she was really very nice and had a great vibe about her! However, another nail tech in the salon never stopped talking. Ever. About her cravings for Taco Bell and how rude other guests in the salon have been. She was even commenting on how tiny the diamonds in women's wedding rings were?! She repeatedly talked about her tattoos and how nice she is, while also saying "no one should mess with her" This made me feel incredibly uncomfortable (and judged!) it is not a salon experience when someone is yapping rudely non stop for 2 hours. While Erin did an awesome job- based on price and the rude Chatty Cathy, I won't be a return customer. read more

This was a terrible experience for me. I paid for just the gel polish and it was very expensive. At other places, I am able to receive better quality service and receive a gel manicure for the price I paid at this business. In addition, my nails were very uneven and chipped within two days of getting my nails done. I am one who is very careful with my nails and take caution to make my nails last as long as possible and this was very disappointing. Once my nails started to chip the rest of the polish peeled right off as well. When I contacted the business they never responded to my email. I do not recommend this nail place at all and I would look elsewhere. read more
