It took me awhile to write this review but since I'm still thinking about it I thought I share my experience. I got my nails done at a different nail salon that was about 20 minutes from my house and one of my nails broke in half. It was so painful and since I had to leave for a trip the same day I decided to call the nail lounge, that is 3 minutes from my house for a repair. When I called the women on the phone said they don't take appointments for repairs, just walk-ins. I was a little annoyed but decided to show up for a repair anyway. When I got there the same women that I talked to on the phone said "I remember talking to you, we are very busy but have a seat and someone will be with you soon." I waited for about 15 minutes when I was told that the women in the chair closest to the door would squeeze me in before their next client showed up, once she was ready she looked at me stood up and walked away. Then I was told that she could no longer take me because her client showed up early... mind you not one person walked in between the time she finished her last client and telling me her client showed up. I told her that I noticed that no one had walked in and she told me I was wrong. I told her I felt like it wasn't that they were too busy it was that no one wanted to take the time to do a repair because it was a small service. She proceeded to tell me "well we work on commission" and I said I will pay for it. In the end no one would help me so I left in tears (mind you I was in pain because of the broken nail) . The next place I went to a nice lady fixed it for me and I tipped her $100. Something to think about, you never know what someone will pay when they are just looking for help. read more

he first time I was impressed, especially since you could make an appointment. The second a NIGHTMARE...it started out with a pedicure when it came to my manicure they started acting weird...speaking in their own language...I didn't know what was happening...I was sat and moved 4 times. Finally I told the last girl I was getting annoyed, that I wanted to speak to the owner, she said not right now, don't move your hands, you should have made an appointment. I said I did. I still called the owner over and asked why was I being moved around and he said you have acrylic nails. Like it was something awful. They wanted to accommodate the "right" people first. I told him I was here before a couple came in and they were gone by 40 minutes. I looked around the only minority there, and I felt discriminated and treated so rudely. The girl didn't talk to me, said I'm finished and she left. It was expensive, I guess I paid for speaking up. I did not tip. I will never be back. I was made to feel unimportant, a manicure and pedicure are suppose to be relaxing. read more

At first I loved it! But 3 days after getting my pedicure, I went to California and sand got stuck in my polish! Actual sand all in my polish and all my toes! When I got back from CA, I went in to have the polish fixed and the lady told me they were too busy. Came back the next day and they charged me $15 without mentioning before hand they were charging me when it was THEIR polish malfunction. For 15 years I've gotten a pedicure 1-3 days before doing to California and never had sand stuck in my polish! The whole pedicure they tried upselling me on gel and I've never had nor wanted gel polish for my toes! Now the lady is telling me because I didn't get gel, they don't cover anything if it's messed up or not fixable so it's $15! Their loss, I've been a loyal customer at my nail place for 10 years and I get $60-$75 pedicures and $60-$75 full sets and loved my nail place! Unfortunately I moved so I was trying to find a more convenient one but I will never be back here! For $15 you could have had $150 every month or so but now I'll never be back! read more

Think I found my new nail salon!! They have reasonable prices (IE- basic pedi: $25). They have higher end pedicure and other spa options when you're feelin' like doin the full shebang and getting pampered! They serve complimentary water and wine! Their salon is new and the modern design is appealing and welcoming. Everything seems to be clean. They place liners in the pedi bowls, too. Would love if they all spoke English all the time. I feel more at ease when the techs speak English as opposed to Vietnamese, etc. so I know they aren't saying something rude or talking about me. If this changed, I'd change my rating to 5 stars and refer all of my friends and family! Glad to have this new salon in the neighborhood! read more

I initially wasn't going to write this, because I never said anything in person and I just wanted to forget about it, however it's been a week or two since I received a pedicure here and the tech doing mine cut into the corners of my toenail, instead of cutting then straight so now they're growing into my skin and it's incredibly painful. Not to mention that my toenails were cut unevenly, I was nipped and my toe was red for the rest of the morning, and the paint job was really bad. The nail tech had polish all over her gloves and all over my skin, it looked like a 2 year old was painting my nails. To top it all off, she leaned over my wet toenails and got her hair in the polish ON MY TOES. She realized what she did and painted over it quickly hoping I wouldn't notice. Now they're were 4 thick uneven coats of polish on my toes and they didn't dry properly so I ruined it when I got in the car. She cleaned up some the polish on my skin but there were still spots on the tops of my foot that had polish on it. Sometimes people have bad days and I understand, but it hurts to walk because of this pedicure, and it's been 2 weeks. This isn't a case of bad customer service, or a rushed pedicure, it's genuinely unsanitary and unsafe. I never thought to look for it but I don't remember seeing her license. It's such an uncomfortable situation to be put in because she wasn't mean, I still paid and tipped, but I thought it would be best to put this review out there to both keep people who aren't going to be so nice next time from coming, and to keep those who don't have the guts to say something from coming as well. read more

I was in Arizona for a work trip and staying with my fiancé's parents. His mother told me about The Nail Lounge and that she had a great experience. She said they did a great job, they were quick, and they were very clean. All boxes checked. I immediately called and made an appointment for the next day after work. I got there and I didn't have to wait at all. They brought me over to my pedicure chair while I received my pedi and soaked off my dip nail polish. My manicurist came over halfway through and did my nails standing up so that I could enjoy the comfort of the pedicure chair. I thought that was really nice. It made the experience much more comfortable for me. The pedicure chair had a very aggressive massaging element that I enjoyed for a while until I felt like it might've been bruising me. Be careful with that. I was about to go on vacation so I got an orange color on my toes and I was looking for a palm tree design on each of my big toes. I pulled up a photo on my phone and showed my pedicurist. She seemed a little bit unsure about the design but went for it anyway. It didn't end up looking so much like palm trees, but it did end up costing me an extra $10. Oh well, I didn't have the heart to tell her it wasn't really as palm tree looking as I had hoped for. My nails, however looked great. They didn't really give me a manicure as much as soak off my dip and then put dip polish back on. I would've hoped for more of a manicure with filing and shaping of my real nails first. However, it was quick, efficient, and very clean with great customer service. Altogether I believe everything cost me about $100 which is somewhat standard. I would return back here the next time I am in the area, for sure shout out to Jade and Michelle for making my experience amazing. read more

I called and asked if they had time for a walk in, the girl said yes to come in now. I got there 10 minutes later and had to wait 45 minutes. After waiting for 15 minutes she sat me down and filled the tank with water. By the time My pedicure started, the water was ice cold. She asked if she could get me anything to drink, I said a water and she never returned. When I was finally seen, the woman who was doing my pedicure cut my nails so short with rounded corners. When I was looking at them she was obviously irritated and upset and asked "what are you looking at?" I simply explained they were cut very short and round and that I hadn't asked for that. The rest of the pedicure was done hastily and without any care. I will never come back or recommend this place to anyone!! read more

Over priced paid $60 for this set the gel wasn't properly coated looked almost foggy and faded she kept telling me I could only do gel. How please am I... then to add to the bonus opening time my husband was fully pampered by Michelle who knew exactly what to do with my husband's feet which needed much attention highly recommend, she made him feel really comfortable, usually he's not comfortable with his feet! Had a gift card from Christmas so made an appt for a gel pedi. I'm shocked at cost. Not including a tip, the gel pedicure cost $85! Those are Vegas prices, not Gilbert. Geez, I normally spend $55 for a gel pedi (not including tip). The gentleman that provided my service did a great job with the actual gels and the massage. However, he did cut me, with mild bleeding throughout the remainder of the service. I know it can happen so still tipped, cause the massage was great and my nails look wonderful. The salon is very nice, clean, aside from the aestheticians' wiping nose on arm several times during my service. I'm not going back. An additional comment in response to owner's comment - this was overpriced. I was not handed a menu when i checked in. Pushy, rude, UNSAFE and unsanitary.I did mani pedi and called before coming in to make sure they had time. Had an older lady do my nails. I asked her to wear gloves -she only agreed to wear gloves until actually painting the nail. Her nails were long and dirty( back dirt under them)! She kept using her nail to fix the nail polish on the side of my nails ( They have tools for that or at the very least she could've worn gloves!). It's disgusting to think how many people she did that to that day and all the cross contamination there! Gross! I requested color, and she insisted I do French and demanded tip upfront in cash. I had no cash but did pay tip upfront - not that she deserved a tip but I thought that if I didn't give her a nice tip she would fuck up my nails or like cut me or something ! Soon as I paid her a nice tip & agreed to French she all of a sudden spoke perfect English!Also I was worried I wouldn't have time for French As the place was closing and I had a toddler waiting for me at home,nor did I indicate wanting French nails...I left with French nails.Also she REPEATEDLY BURNED me (5 times) with the UV lamp.Every time she blames the customer for burning them! Guy who did my Pedicure was fine- He kept his gloves on the whole time and didn't burn me once with the UV lamp...though he did sit me in a chair which wasn't exactly wiped down. No quality control for workers. All employees should have short & clean cut neat nails for work. Dirt and bacteria/ viruses gather under long nails. My Nails look nice -however, burning means she put coats on too thick and that the polish won't properly adhere to the nail, and that she damaged my nail beds! Getting your nails done should NEVER BURN! I would go to this place only if you feel like being in an interrogation room and a torture chamber for an hour...Because you never know which technician you're going to get, and they obviously don't do any training/oversight! Review on SNS Dip: I actually made an appointment at this location on accident, as I previously did not have a great experience with getting my nails done by one of the ladies here. Not that she was horrible or that she made me bleed or anything of the sort, but the dip did not last more than a week. I confused this salon with the one across the street. But this was the best mistake I've ever made. Having not requested a specific nail tech, my appointment was with a new person, Tim. I told him of the struggles that I'd been having bouncing around salon to salon to try to find someone who did a good job and took care of my nails and the dip lasted. Tim was amazing. He told me that if I continue to have issues using the dip, that I needed to come back to him and we could solve the problems together instead of abandoning him and going to another location again. I said ok, knowing full well that I wouldn't return if it sucked. However Tim's dip lasted 3 weeks! I made an appointment to go back only because my nails were grown out and looking crazy, if not for that, I probably could have gone another three weeks. Tim does an amazing job and I am so glad that I made the mistake to go to this location. I made my follow-up appointment with Tim and my nails are beautiful and I love them. Tim is the best nail tech I have ever received a manicure from, and he's so personable and funny. I recommend that everyone that is struggling to find a happy place or is looking for a new place to go try Tim at the nail lounge because he will blow you away and your nails won't have never looked better! read more
