A lot of times I communicate with the nail tech the look that I want, and they don't understand, and I end up with something I didn't want. I decided to visit this nail salon on a friend's recommendation, and it did not disappoint. I didn't realize all the harmful chemicals that are in traditional nail ingredients until i got to talking to the nail techs as Nail Vibes. They pride themself on using non-toxic products that are free of harmful chemicals commonly found in nail polishes, including dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, Ethyl Tosylamide or xylene. They also use Hema-free polishes, HEMA Free gel polishes significantly reduce the risk of allergic reactions and skin sensitivities. Like WOW! I had no idea and the last thing they really care about is having cruelty-free products. yay for animal lovers! They focus on Korean and Japanese nail styles with a commitment to nail health. My friend was telling me they offer Russian-style manicures, and I have never had them before but they sound interesting. She also told me about gel x, which is apparently better and healthier for your nails than traditional nail extensions. Another thing that sets them apart if their dry pedicures; they don't offer the traditional water pedicures because those can increase the chance of infections. Its ok if you get one done every now and then, but I never stopped to think about this kind of thing happening. OK, so i went in with an inspo picture, and it turned out a lot better than what I could have imagined. My nail tech Sela took her time to get all the details right and make sure everything was straight and on point. That set of nails lasted me almost a whole month before I took them off! They never chip or break! Those things were set! They offer you one complimentary drink, and I got the banana matcha I wanna say, it was very yummy. The work stations are very clean because they use fans to catch all the dust and particles that come off when using the drills. This probably stands out to me the most because I cannot tell y'all how many times i gone to a traditional nail salon as is dusty AF lol. Not here, it's very nice, clean, and well-lit. They have Kpop music playing and showing on the TVs. The place is spacious and not huge like other nail places. Jaja ( the owner) has really thought of everything you might need to make your experience with her the best it can be. They have a tray at each nail station for their clients to put their jewelry in. Each station also has a phone stand, and there are even chargers under the stations to charge your phone! I have never been to a nail salon that has all those things! Jaja has done an amazing job in creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. The staff is very nice and professional; they really know their stuff. You can do a walk-in in but if you want a specific style or a specific nail tech, you'd better book that appointment because they will be booked. There is plenty of parking space as they are in a strip mall kinda place with a chicken restaurant and a pizza place next to them, so check them out for lunch while you are there. I got regular polish on my toes and just stayed with gel manicure because she couldn't get the price right on the feet and I felt so uncomfortable. I have to cut my nails short and asked specifically for her not to let the edges get squared and she left one of my nails intentionally square. I clipped it myself after she kept saying "yeah yeah I know I know" it was such a surprise to hear the rudeness and blatant rude remarks. I asked to speak with a manager at the end of the job and she spent a little time working on my hands then went to sit down and said she'd do my nails at the end. She got another client so I asked someone if they could do my gel manicure because I'd been there a long time and didn't want to do the whole thing after my pedicure. One woman said she had an appointment, they asked a younger woman to do it and she shook her head. I finally said I'd leave without my manicure getting done just the pedicure and they said okay they'll do it. It seemed like everything was fine but my gel manicure came out terrible. It looked relatively fine when I left but now there are ripples. This has never happened with a gel manicure. I did notice they were frequently using a polish shaking machine, so I'm sure their gel polish may be heavily diluted. The toes of course chipped same day but that's because they're regular polish. I'm just so surprised at the poor customer service and poor job.

I have mild palmoplantar psoriasis--a non-contagious skin condition and without any flair ups --and instead of making me feel welcomed, the staff made me feel judged the entire time. The pedicure was rushed and barely addressed my calluses/extra skin (which is the entire reason I get pedicures! Is to keep the extra skin I produce off). No callus softener was used, and when I asked for more effort, it was done, but met with an energy as if I was crazy for asking that, again, it's literally the ONLY thing I look forward to and need. The neon yellow polish I chose was applied without a white base, making it look dull and sloppy. Then I was asked if it was ok - which kind of confused me, because shouldn't an experienced nail tech know that a white base is required for neon colors to pop properly? It looked horrible and I had to have her remove it. For my manicure, I asked for dip powder, but the tech convinced me into some "new gel technique" that burned my nails every time she put them under the light and smelled horrible. The result was so bad, it literally oozed onto my skin, and didn't stick to my nails because I couldn't cure the gel due to the burning sensation under the light. Felt like I was placing resin on my nails. When I mentioned the details I was experiencing and in as kind of a manner as I could and that it was ok I could just go to my usual place, I was met with an exchange of words in Vietnamese, which frustrated me even more and semi attitude from some of the staff. I really didn't mean to make anything difficult and I even mentioned paying for what I could and that I'd just happily leave. I finally was able to get up to leave and go straight to my usual salon to have everything redone. To add the cherry on top - I still paid $70 for this service. Beautiful inside and the salon and I really liked the way they displayed the colors they have, that was actually really nice. Their follow-up message basically blamed my skin condition instead of acknowledging their lack of care and professionalism. For anyone with even the slightest skin issue or who expects basic customer service: stay far away. EDIT AFTER REVIEW RESPONSE: Your response only confirms my frustration. Let me be crystal clear: I didn't come to your salon for medical treatment - I came for a basic pedicure and manicure like I've had at countless other salons without issue. What I received was rushed, low-effort service and a lack of care. My feet weren't properly prepped, my calluses weren't addressed, and the neon polish was applied without a base coat - resulting in a dull, sloppy finish. On my hands, I was pressured into a gel service I didn't even want, which burned my nails and smelled awful.
