The only plus was that i got a refund but still spent over $60 on Ubers and taxis to get there! All im gonna say is DONT BOOK HERE ON VACATION AND WASTE $60!!! My only comment is that these days no matter what nail salon you go to, they all charge about the same rates. But the service they provide is a lot less than they used to provide. Meaning that they would do the callus removal as part of a basic pedicure. Now everything is a la carte and they add all these things on to the charges. That being said, this was my first time at this nail salon. I was greeted by a gentleman that I think is either the owner or the manager who was very nice. He checked me in and showed me these books of different colors that I could choose for my pedicure. I did have an appointment already scheduled. Don was my nail technician and he did a great job. He was very thorough and did a great job with the foot massage. He didn't speak much but that's okay. He did a great job of what he was supposed to do and trimmed and polished my toenails and I would go back to see him again. The space is very chill and welcoming and they have three or four TVs going at the same time with no volume on, and they have music playing in the background that's not too loud, rather very laid-back music. I saw some customers getting bottled water out of a fridge but I don't know if that's offered to everyone or just certain clients. It also looks like they have some kind of membership where you get discounts and I'm not sure about that either. I did not ask about that. I would definitely go back to Don again for another pedicure. Good job Don!

Angelina at the Nail Box is so detail oriented and does great work. I was recommended to her from Edna at the Bare Peach Waxing Studio. I was desperate for someone GOOD after my regular gal left town. Angelina made sure to ask me what I liked and didn't like including shape and fancy add-ons. My OCD makes me pick at nails if they have any rough spots or they are not smooth. She did a PERFECT job on them. She also does pedicures. You are in a private room and she is very nice to talk to. She also has streaming shows on TV if you just want to veg out. As someone who has been getting my nails done for over 25 years I can honestly say she is the best by far. I have been seeing Angelina for my nails for a few years now, and she is easily the best nail tech I've ever been to! I get gel manicures/pedicures and she is so gentle with removal my nails have never peeled or broke like some other nails techs have done. She always does an awesome job- my gel never peels or chips and lasts for weeks! That can't be said for every nail technicians work!
