In the morning we got there right at 8 and it was pretty empty, but the staff was friendly and attentive. We got a couple of lattes and a smoothie bowl - all were great! I love that they have a ton of locally sourced and healthy ingredients. For lunch, we got a wrap and a salad and both were very fresh and tasty. They have a big variety of loose leaf teas so I enjoyed an iced green tea which was perfect on a hot summer day! It was pretty busy for lunch but they were still very quick. It's a pretty big space with lots of seating options and even some books & board games.

On my first visit, I ordered an iced latte with peach syrup and cold foam. My boyfriend ordered the iced apple crisp latte (I think that was the name of the seasonal special), which was quite shocking because he tells me he HATES coffee. News flash: He doesn't, or just realllllly liked this specific latte. I can't exactly recall what syrup combination I got in my hot latte the next day. It was also great. I'm sick of coffee shops being lazy and using Torani or Monin syrups. Clerk's makes their own, and they are delicious! I also thought the prices were fair. There was a cute little nook by the window and the space is adorable. Service was efficient and the baristas were helpful, providing great recommendations. Can't wait to make another visit soon!

I've eaten at the Cider Mill which was also a 5 star experience so I had high hopes for their bakery. We ended up ordering brunch as well with the breakfast wrap and the Calabrian panini. The focaccia blew us away, I was licking my fingers. We bought sourdough and a cookie to-go because we just couldn't get enough The bakery is clean with indoor seating and very homey decor

They also own Chelsea's Restaurant & Bar located across the parking lot from E.A.T., at the corner of Velasko Road. This 1,600-square-foot café is a cross between their full-size diner and the coffee shop. A counter stretches the length of the front windows with tall stools and plenty of charging stations for electronics. The dining room also has eight tables that each seat four customers. My wife and I met some friends at E.A.T. for the first time recently. It's a nicely decorated cafe, plenty of parking lot spaces available. We were able to easily get a table for 5. We all placed our orders, which were brought quickly. I ordered the chicken & waffles special, while my wife ordered the country biscuit dish. The chicken & waffles was said to have a hot honey maple syrup, but there was no heat to the syrup at all. The chicken was chicken tenders, which was fine, but they did not have a very good texture - they were somewhat rubbery and full of tendon. My wife enjoyed her biscuits, but her, and the rest of the table, agreed that their home fries were undercooked and grainy. We also tried their Lucky Charms special latte, which was good. Prices were decent, employees were mostly friendly. Not sure it's a place we would go out of our way to give another try.

Will definitely return when I'm in the area.

They were clearly wrapping up for the day and as such were out of a few things that I tried to order. That's on me. I went with the employee suggestion of the special called the Tailgater. It's a buffalo chicken salad on a Kaiser roll with greens and a few other things. Honestly, it wasn't anything. Not bad, not good. Just kinda there. It was a light sandwich that did not fill me up. I admittedly have a large appetite, but this was a dainty sandwich. No flavors really stood out to me and it was overall kind of a blah experience. It came to a little under 12.00 for just the sandwich. I wish I had a better experience and I wish this place all the best, but it's a tough ask considering the level of competition directly across the street. 4 stars for the hospitality and price. 3 for the food itself.
