I arrived around 7:20 PM, and the worker who helped me, Bato, went above and beyond. He was patient, friendly, and took the time to answer all of my questions without rushing me. His kindness really stood out and made the whole experience even better. The setup here is incredible they have top-notch reverse osmosis, Kangen water, and an overall amazing filtration system. Everything is clean, organized, and very well put together. This place offers both great service and high-quality water, which is hard to find. The business is right next to the street and has virtually no parking -- only about three street parking spaces. I literally had to fight to find a spot. It was also dangerous trying to pull in and out because of the oncoming traffic from Washington. There is very little room to maneuver, which made the parking situation even more frustrating and unsafe. Once I got inside, I mentioned to the man working there that parking was a real pain. His response was extremely rude and dismissive. He basically told me, "It is what it is. If you don't like it, you don't have to come here to get water." That attitude completely turned me off. The way he spoke to me came across as very disrespectful and dismissive toward me as a woman -- almost like a "don't tell me what to do" attitude. I got my water and left. I will never come back. Customer service matters, and there was absolutely no sense of courtesy, care, or appreciation for the customer here. I would rather drive farther to go somewhere where customers are actually treated with respect. The only reason I give a 2 star is he push my water to my car.

I didn't really know what to expect of this place, but a friend had recently "introduced" me to water store water, and after having drunk mostly Brita filtered water at home, and the occasional Arrowhead, Crystal Geyser, or Costco bottled water when needed, her water was so much more crisp and clean-tasting, more Smart Water than Dasani (which I believe is universally despised). So I went over there, a small shop with two automated water dispensers outside built into the wall, and inside, different sized water bottles and a counter-area on the right with various types of water. The man working there was curt but professional. I was clearly a newbie and eventually settled on a 5-gallon water bottle that was around $26, as well as a pump also about $26, and he filled my bottle with the reverse osmosis water which was $0.50/gallon. The 5-gallon water bottle was one of two more expensive ones which he said would last some 10 years, and the pump was very easy to install and negated the need of a separate dispenser with a spigot to drink out of. I've since gone two other times using the automated dispenser outside. It takes both cash and card, but there is something like a $0.75 upcharge for using credit, and I believe the machine only takes $1 bills so bring 1's.

A good guy who is downtrodden because he created a great shop but not enough people come. Hs literally has to work next door at the liquor store to pay his bills. So if u come when he's working the sign he leavess says he's right next door then comes immediately. Save money. Get great water. Help a small business owner. Trader Joes "natural mountain spring water sells for the approximate equivalent of $2.29/gall (the 1.5L bottles they sell for .79). And the aim is to drink 8 glasses a day! 1/2gal/day. If u drink 1/2 that(which is really very little) Its about 8 gallons a month. Should b 16. Lets say you drink 12galls/mo. On avg that's $27mo. You get his alkaline water w/ electrolytes - healing water - for a lower price or get cleaner-than-bottled drinking water cause that sits in plastic and his dosnt. And its costs $6 instead of $24. Lucky for us, Waterfount is just down the street from us! They are open till 7 PM so we can always swing by after work on a weekday when we are running low on water, which is perfect. I am one of those people who have the special skill of tasting particular water, and believe me, the water here is fresh and great-tasting! They have different types of water but we just get the filtered one with reverse osmosis and it always tastes great. They are a family-owned business and provide the best service around. The location is easy to find and there is plenty of parking in the plaza. I usually go into the store to refill my water, but they also have self-serve fountains outside open all hours 24/7. We bring our own gallon bottles, and they always power wash it for you there before they fill up it up for you. They have carts here to wheel the gallons to the car in case you need it, but I always have my trusty fiancé with me most of the time, so he carries it, and I just support where I am needed, haha! Prices here are minimally higher than others in the area (only by $0.50) but the water quality here has been great so I don't mind. The water from the first water shop I went to often had a moldy smell and taste to it and they weren't as clean. So I found a better shop in Altadena that I frequented for years and never had that issue so I was hopeful to find another excellent and clean water source - so far I haven't had any of those issues here at Waterfount. The water always smells and tastes great! They're located in the plaza with Grocery Outlet so there's plenty of parking. They have a couple of large carts for you to wheel the jugs to your car too which is helpful. They offer different types of water filtration and also have 3 large self serve fountains outside open 24/7.

I also had to take apart the faucets and get the gunk off the screens. I would say I had to do every couple of months now after years of Lifesource once a year and it's not nearly as bad as it ever was before. Service calls are wonderful people show up on time know what they're doing fix what they're there to fix and are incredibly friendly. The infrequent need to change the canisters is a real plus. While, you do have to plan for those expenses, they are long lasting. over time it was less that our collective monthly expenses, especially if the maintenance by hand that was required was considered. When we were evaluating the system. It sounded expensive until I did the math on what we were paying for soft water which my husband dislikes the feel of. The difference is immediately recognizable in showers for hair and skin is something far better than I was .expecting. The water coming out of the tap is great! We do have a reverse osmosis for ice. The grey water every two weeks is used for the lawn and outside plants, so no waste and no big delivery trucks on the street on a regular basis.
