During our first experience, it was 4th of July weekend of 2020 and the movers we had hired backed out the morning of the move - we were distraught! Thankfully, when we called Superman they were able to put us on the schedule for that Monday, despite it being a holiday. The crew showed up on time, moved everything within the 2 hour window, and were very polite and courteous. Fast forward a couple years, and we called Superman again to arrange moving a few more things into storage - they were easy to schedule, called and texted to confirm 2 days out, and showed up right on time ready for a few hurdles (art hung very high, extremely heavy mirrored furniture, Sleep Number beds). What impressed me most was how delightful and happy the crew was while facing all these hurdles - my kudos to their HR department, 'cause these guys were not only polite and courteous to their clients, but also to each other. One member of the crew was clearly junior, and new to the job - the other two experienced movers took the extra steps to show him how to do it, correct him kindly when he needed, and never yelled or otherwise used negative reinforcement. As someone with a training background, I was incredibly impressed.

Both were last minute and had some curve balls but Mike came through each time. He is friendly, professional, a good communicator and most importantly his team did a great job. Some moving companies are unprofessional and hold you hostage with hidden fees. Mike was the opposite and his invoice was transparent and detailed. It left with a broken cabinet and broken drawer. We filed a claim but they denied it saying "it was an old desk." What does that have to do with the fact that it was in great condition before and they damaged it during the move? If you have an old Porsche or Cadillac that you've been keeping in a week maintained state and someone drives it into a tree is it acceptable for them to say they don't think they should help fix it because it was old? This company didn't do the right thing by their customers.

We had to reschedule due to our closing being pushed back with a holiday. They were super friendly and got us a different date without any issue or "fee". My only complaint is you pay by the hour, and the two guys we had took a few water breaks (obviously no one is a robot) but they also sat down to eat sandwiches and billed us for all that time. All in all I think we paid for 30 minutes of them having a snack break. Other than that I was very pleased. I would recommend.

It was too much for me to move on my own but not enough to fill up a connex. These folks fill in that gap. I packed, loaded up my boxes and took them down to the store and they took it from there. Jane came to our home and took inventory and then checked out our relocation site. That very evening, she sent us an estimate. On moving day when we woke to snow and freezing rain; we decided it was unlikely we would be hauling furniture that day. A few minutes later, we got a call from Sourdough and they were on their way. I will say they have very nice and professional people on the phone, fair prices, and generally good about the move, but you really have to keep them honest and track absolutely everything yourself. If one of the movers breaks a table, you have to call the main office RIGHT AWAY. If they agree they'll move your piano and charge you for piano handling services, then no one shows up that can handle the piano and almost drop it off the back of a truck, while the movers are still there you have to call and raise a stink or it'll be your word against theirs. These things happened to me.
